Took a while to get a hold of the pump, but finally got it! I had my mind on the air lift tech, but made this configuration, because it looked cool and I had extra pipe and fittings are cheap and I had a lot of fun doing it. It's basically all submerged except for the pipes that exit the bucket on the sides and that also helps keep the piping down and in the water, also allows me to close the bucket to reduce noise and spillage. All the pipes disconnect so can easily pack it away and keep it in the box of extras. As I had my mind made up already, I also made a vortex, but by cutting the hole for the drain plug made the bucket single purpose only, so will have to get another bucket if I ever wanted to use the bubbler, but used the same two holes on the side of this bucked and just made a 25mm hole in the bottom. Whole project took me about 45min, but stretched out over like a period of a month! Mostly because water proofing all the connections, but still allowing it to be taken a part for cleaning was a real hassle and then the wait for the pump. Probably gona still do a bunch of "upgrades", but for now I'm happy! Gona give 24h to get rid of chloramine, then add ingredients.3 points

Awesome build there brother. Have a look at one of the dairies called teas,teas... by Crex, really loaded with information and recipes for some lekker AACT. This stuff is great and do wonders to the plants.2 points

Royal Gorilla trichomes are looking nice and cloudy. Some buds have filled up a bit more. Harvest day should be soon.2 points

Jarred the GDP, weighing in at 36g So far my smallest yield on a plant in 3 grows although it feels my kinda potent. Should be quite nice after a bit of curing.2 points

Hi Everyone, I don’t really ‘cav how this thing works. But hey I’m new here and I’d really like my first grow to be successful with the help of the South African Cannabis community. I hope here I’ll make friends [emoji1431][emoji92] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Started the flush yesterday and after taking a few preliminary pics of the Royal Gorilla this morning, I spied a couple amber trichomes and decided I wanted to harvest this evening. I don't want to ripen this strain as much as the GDP as it leans more towards sativa (hence the longer flowering time) so I'd like to keep the amber at a min, but still wanted to at least catch a few just so I know what stage it was at. I will also want to cure it a little longer before really getting into it. Looking at the first pic, it's a wonder I had this next to another plant I got some shades of red on the sugar leaves like in the bottom left. Thought it was quite unique. I definitely got some light burn on some buds which may have also caused a little bit of fox-tailing like in the bottom right. I pretty much did the same training on both of these plants, but the Royal Gorilla came out way way better. Much more of the side shoots reached the height of the main colas and benefited well from the more level canopy. The buds are also so much more chunky, I'd say some at least double in size to the GDP. So while the Royal Gorilla dries, I have already germinated the seeds for the next grow. That's right, we're not pulling out this time. I've doubled up my space with a 240x120x205 tent which I plan on having two 400W HPS in cool tubes, and 4 DWC systems with 1 plant each. So that equals to 2 plants per 400W bulb. This tent can do more plants and more lights but I'm keeping things within my field of knowledge having grown with these HPS before just in a smaller fashion. Which leaves the 80x80x180 tent available once the bud is done drying in it. In this tent I am going to learn how to work with soil and do two plants under the 250W QB LED. If I like how the soil goes, I might go soil in the big tent and double up on the number of plants and use the smaller tent just as a veg tent. I'll probably start diaries for the new plants in each tent when they get bigger and I have more content1 point

As a side note, and this alone should tell us enough. The big square rockwool cube, comes with a hole in the middle of the cube, exactly the right size for a Jiffy pellet, not a square rockwool starter. Even they knew1 point
-
I've just used the rockwool for germination the first time as I ran out of jiffy pellets, and had some from cloning, honestly all have popped, but I will not be using them again, pH is key and to 5.5 or so, flushing them first, but much easier is the jiffy. Wouldn't mind those easy plugs, look like they work a charm. Next time.1 point

I've got ff premium mix here, was thinking of taking some soil from a nice fresh patch in the mountain here, also got liquid vermipure here with so much bacterial colonies inside the bottle and it smells very nice. My plants are going into flower now, any special ingredients you know about for pushing those flowers?1 point

So, here she is now. Things got to a point where I just didn't know what to do anymore, was gona plant her out or put her somewhere else. Didn't think about it twice, had a couple new bags of soil, also ff premium mix, took her old soil out and dumped it on the compost heap, took a hose with a shower head and cleaned the roots completely and replanted her in new soil. Can't even tell now that it was ever a replacement plant, she's even taller than the Super Lemon Haze right next to her.1 point

Awesome! Whats going to be your starting inoculant? Worm Castings? I find that AACT takes some getting used to, and over brewed teas not so good. I'm not a tea expert though, but done it enough.1 point

It wasn't a big plant though and you're used to a scrog. If you don't scrog next time, I suggest a slight change in defol and training etc. Not bad though, what sort of yield do you think you'll get from other plant? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk1 point

Awesome entries this month guys, loving them. All the best to everyone! Also a big thanks to @420SA for hosting these comps, it genuinely adds more excitement to my grow every month since I knew about it. I've only ever seen this kind of thing on international sites in fully legalised and regulated countries, so it's really cool that it's being done here as well.
