I'm so happy you sorted brother, and good deal at a good business. If you making reference to the extra sheet at the bottom, from my understanding it's meant to be a splash guard more than holding water I guess, and there for in case. Possibly put a plastic sheet over or under it for safety and protection. Pictures or it never happened Super happy for you4 points

Just set up my Mammoth Pro120 tent I got from Futurama, R2500 for 1.2mx1.2mx2m was the best price I found online. Really happy with the quality of the tent, I just find the floor sheet abit thin but the rest if perfect.3 points

Hey brother, You can try the following places, with great review and genuine service. @growopz (latest technology and knows his stuff) And Futurama have a big selection. I dont owe these places anything other than I have received outstanding service from them both and will always go back. Not sure if @Master_G is still here...but he also had something on offer (pre apologies admin).2 points

Thanks man, I appreciate the kind words. I cant wait to start filling up the tent! I am referring to the actual floor of the tent not the extra water tray. The floor of the tent is not made of Mylar like the rest of the inside its a thin black material. Will keep you guys updated with the grow2 points

@TotemicI was thinking about leca for this purpose... But I'm not sure it would have the same effect being much much more porous than terracotta. It also floats so getting it thoroughly wet might take some getting used to. And the shake off of excess water will need to be done very well as the large porous bubbles could hold water in one direction, but the water will drip out in another direction... Leca is also very soft... Fairly easy to crush a ball between your thumb and index. So even though it is made of a similar clay substance... I don't think it would accomplish the rehydrate they way you want it to2 points

I also would use them in conjunction with a hydrometer... But ay... I do that with bovidas too haha I'm trying to find info about it absorbing moisture... But I can't find anything. Seems it wants to get gry again and it's value is more in a slow release of moisture. So ideally for daily stash usage... Or a quick fix for dry weed... Might even make your guys daily cigarettes taste better too if you kept a ciggie container2 points

I like your setup! I will put a dimmer connection once they are fix on their space and control it over arduino. TS is also not dimmed.. so I keep a even field. Might install dimmers in the TS3s too.. they are a lot more powerful as I expected. I put the big fan (50cm) on.. more air movement never wrong. The TopMax kicked in ^^ they want more today and look quite a bit bigger too, light goes daily up around 5cm. Will give them in the evening again a liter. 1.5 days feeding rhythm.2 points

From what I can see, this would be great in a cigar box with a humidity meter so that you know how humid your stash is. I would also use it to reinvigorate bought weed that is way too dry. I wouldn't use these for curing, it doesn't seem precise enough for that.2 points

I went the poly way 1st, expensive lesson to learn that poly enhanced the sound because it's so light it actually vibrates, it's like a big subhoover. The best for sound is weight and poly is to light. Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk2 points

Hey peeps, so I was busy hunting high and low for the best deal on Boveda and other humidity control options as I am getting close to harvest and curing on my current grow. Along the way I stumbled upon a product called Greengo Clay Humidity Stone. I did some research and found some amazing information online and I also discovered a similar product that is marketed by RAW. This looks like it could be a long term solution if they work well and could mean that one would never have to purchase another Boveda. Tell me what your thoughts and experiences are. Once mine have arrived I will test and let you guys know what happens. Just wanted to share the knowledge and hopefuly we improve on sustainable practices within our area of joy. Best wishes to all.1 point

Possible... Anti-malware and webshield should block any sites that don't have encryption certification. I've had this issue before. You can add the url to the site as an exception, then remove it once it's sorted. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk1 point

@TheUltimateNoob @420SA Thanks Guys, have tried it but failed. I will reboot my laptop and try again, might be my anti virus restricting access. Thanks for the help.1 point

Builders have this for 200 Mounted at the top, plugged in, will go on when power goes out, lasts 15 hours and can add solar to it. Dont have it on your timer system, or it will come on at lights out, and bad.1 point
-
Any dead air is bad, make sure when your system is running, you can see all leaves move or rustle in one revolution of the oscillating fan, if you see leaves not moving, you going to have WPM known as white powder mildew, and mold. Very very very bad1 point

Both your questions are difficult and require different angles or processes to solve, and can be done a number of ways, that is personal choice. Normally, fans blowing left to right, angle up, or down, which works best for you. Some place a second fan just kicking air up, getting that CO2 circulating. Battery backup, you never want the air to stand, ever. You can get away with no lights on for a while in flowering, bit in veg, you dont want the lights out or it will get to much flowering hormones and go haywire. So adding a emergency light, with backup battery, that comes on when lights out, you'll be okay, they R3001 point

A few leca pellets will do the same. Can add or remove marbles as necessary1 point

Jip I hear you, all depends on if he going to add on things as he goes.... Because we do [emoji23][emoji23]....and that was where I wasted money. But you right, you can also just use that green stuff and wrap it around the extraction fan also, a good portion of the sound comes where the wind blows out also. During the day it's usually fine but late at night when all neighbour hood sounds quite down the little sounds are louder soooo Al depends how close the neighbours are Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk1 point

Thanks for the response and feedback @Ill_Evan abd @CreX so I'm guessing I'm still going to Boveda then? The video @CreX sent me also seems to be about rejuvenating old weed and keeping what I presume is already cured herb fresh for long periods of time1 point
-
Exactly and agree with you, but do you see his grow room making enough sound that it would need to add deadening. Wouldn't the extraction fan be the most noise only?1 point
-
Have changed alot of things since then though.. 3 x 10l fabric pots Freedom farms potting mix 150w LED grow ight 2 Extractor fans, 1 in and 1 out Oscillating fan heater Oscillating Fan Insulation for sound Space blankets for reflection temp controller etc wanted to spend 1k, but looks like its gonna be like 6-7k lol1 point

I think it would benefit tobacco more than cannabis. When I smoked rollies my bag tobacco would dry out within a couple of days after opening. Half my life I've been smoking dry weed because I didn't know any better1 point

All depends on where the grow room is, outside or inside and the temps around that area. A insulated room only holds the temps it was GIVEN for longer Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk1 point

Makes total sense and thank you for the forewarn. Probably works better for insulation and not soundproofing. Have you also insulated your whole room or tent?1 point

I couldn't agree more, great constructive conversation and challenging ourselves is a must, it's how we learn. Nice chatting to you too and look forward to seeing your grows soon. We all share the same love, one magical plant.1 point

I have ordered from them. The seeds came in a bank bag with the strain written on the bag. Only got around to planting those seeds now. One did not make it out of the soil the other is completely different from other plants I have grown gorilla zkittles from Barney's Farm apparently. I quite like the look of it.1 point

Pre-Training Got a good response from the Royal Gorilla and sufficient growth from both plants to do the toppings today and some defoliation. Post-Training Had to swap out the twisty ties on the Royal Gorilla with some sturdier coated wire to hold down the low stress training. The Royal Gorilla is developing some really thick beefy stems and growth points, shorter and thicker than the GDP, both training very well right. From here it's a matter of maintaining the spread and training of the plants as they get sturdier and bigger, occasional defoliation and keeping them happy. It's up from here!
