  1. @GGG 4 20l pots filled 3/4, own soil mix, bubble berry glue, no feeding just use my own powdered mix of fulvic, Humic and kelp in ratio of 5:2. Every 3 weeks or so.

  7. Hi there bud. Yeah, I installed Tapatalk which seems to work, apparently classifieds are no more on this app according to 420 but at least I can upload photos which was the main thing as you can see with test photo. Thanks for the help. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

  11. Greetings 420 Fam! Decided to grow again due to being stuck at home so I thought I'd share what's going on with you guys. So I've been growing these 2 strains since about the last week of March. They are; Black Fire & Inzane in the Membrane, both by Ethos Genetics. I started the grow long before I became a member here so if you guys want to check it out, I have a link to the journal to catch up so far, and links to previous grows that you'll find in the grow reports as well. I'll try to update progress on here as often as I can. Anyway, I transplanted them into 5L smart pots for vegging on the 6th of April and watered them (no nutes) shortly after the transplant. The water was at 66 ppm with a pH ~6.25. They didn't seem to experience any obvious transplant shock and it's all going smoothly so far. These trees are 3 days into their 5th week of vegging (excl seedling stage - very 1st week) They've received 2 sets of toppings and growth from the 1st node was removed - I'm manifolding these trees also using some skewers and soft tie wire to train them flat. Each tree has about 8-12 main tops right now but it's a bit untidy - they're due for a defoliation later today. Feeding strengths have been around 500pm for early veg and I'm increasing it to around 700ppm for the next week of veg before flipping to 12/12. The Inzane (om the right) seems to be outgrowing her company but I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem, I can always prop one plant up if needed. Will run 2 of the same strains next time to use the space more effectively. The last picture is a few days older but it gives you a more clear view of how I used the skewers to train the trees. Questions and suggestions are welcomed. Enjoy!

  13. Reading this headline is hard enough. I honestly cannot believe it... We couldn't have had a better person leading the fight for cannabis freedom in our country.... his departure leaves an immediate void that only he could fill. No one else was/has been willing to go as far as him and Myrtle have gone to ensure that we achieve the rights that we cannabis users deserve. It's because of him and Myrtle that we enjoy the rights that we now currently have, and they still continued to fight for more ... Jules we are forever indebted to the work you have done for us. YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. RIP good man! https://www.dispatchlive.co.za/news/2020-07-03-dagga-activist-julian-stobbs-fatally-shot-in-armed-robbery/ As for this country... I lose faith day by day...

  14. Starting off a bit backwards, but better late than never - Hi all! I’m new to the growing scene, and just happy to be able to have so much useful info at my fingertips indoor growing - Veg 600Mh / Flower 600Hps Capetown winter climate makes for a bumpy ride during flower. However no complaints just yet. Attempting full organic growing. Open minded fellow and think I might be growing till the day I die.

  15. Hi folks, Hoping I can get some guidance from forum members who might have had the same scenario. I have a friend that has to get a couple of clones down to CPT from PTA. He has decent packaging - Cannapro Live transport clone. Any trusted couriers for express that anyone knows of?

  16. @Saurus Hey bud, yeah I’m quite ambitious with these ladies just doing my best to not over love them and fuck em up. But holding back on lst for about 1-2 weeks I want some longer branches to play with

  17. Awesome man. I would've thought flushing would be the way to go. Seems like it helps with many problems. But I agree over watering could be a serious problem too. I too struggle to not over water. I guess it just feels right to want to feed it too much but instead cycling from wet to dry continuously helps so much more. I did notice early June you said you would lst them in a week. It did seem abit early. But it's better that you noticed and corrected it by hanging back. I guess patience is the key. Otherwise nice work. Looking forward to watching this grow.[emoji111] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

  18. @Saurus Hey bud, so one of my plants was dropping and others had nutrient burn. So flushing them helped and then I also realized I was giving them a bit too much water so that was the other issue. I was trying to LST too early because I was quite excited but I’ve gotten a knack for it now and feel confident about this grow!

  21. Great thanks bro! I guess you're right. Maybe I just start with the basics instead of complicating things too much in the beginning

  22. Try with full planted area first, otherwise you can get a humidifier for cheap, they aren't as specialized as aircon or dehumidifier, so anyone will work for you.
    1 point
  23. Oh yes, you probably dont have many if anything growing in there now. Once you fill that space, you'll be at the correct or more than needed humidity so dint stress till you get going properly. As with regards to the CO2, best advice I can give you is, to first get the hang of this plant, and what it takes to go forward, once you got the basics down, which already will impress you if you get them right, you can then expand and try various additions that benefit growth. Otherwise you might have so many things going on you will find it difficult to assess where you went wrong or what to change to fix it.

  24. Hey brother, You seem to have everything okay, just as you point out, maybe the humidity can go up slightly for veg, and seedlings especially. Aim for 50 to 60, but 40 wont harm. Yes, in summer when it's hot, and like me have a dehumidifier running, temps can get high and around 30 to 32deg.

  25. They do. Plants for the garden though, not to smoke. Veld & Fynbos is the name between Malmesbury and Atlantis. They sell in trays of 128pc's. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

  26. You can run CO2, plants eat CO2 in the day and release O2, Like anything in life, you up one thing, you need to up the rest. Give an engine more fuel only, it will die from flooding, or only more air, it will run lean and burn. If you close it off, run CO2, you need to run temps high enough, over 30deg, and have enough CO2 PPM, and have enough light, over 1200PAR. You can add it, but keep your flow the same, and it make a slight difference, as there isn't enough CO2 as the plant needs anyway in the ozone Or you could have wasted your time essentially

  39. Lets get quickly a bit science into this, might help a lot of the new folks reading this understand. Light is the main ingredient beside water. To little or to much of both will hurt or kill your plant. A plant with perfect light and lower quality fertilizer will still out perform a plant under low light and pro fertilizer. The plants have three stages with different light demand. For indoor growing, to much is more often the danger during early stages. Germination and seedlings need around 250 micromol PAR light for perfect growing. Veg they perform best with about 500 micromol PAR light. You can also go up in stages during Pre but I usually just go full. Full means 1000 micromol PAR.. that seems to be the max the Cannabis plants can handle with the usual CO2 concentration and no, didn't grew on my shit ^^, I read that up, Apogee made some extensive studies on that topic. Over 1000 micromol PAR you need to add a CO2 generator to have profits. So you would just waste the energy without it. Grow light producers do those measurements and tell you how high to hang for the stages. If they don't provide a germination distance, just use the same distance they reduce for Flower and add that to Veg distance. To much isn't the best for the youngsters. But in general they provide Veg and Flower distance. If you never grew before and get no indication what to do.. will not add to a satisfying outcome. Indoor, nothing has more importance then your light!! Is also the most expensive.. so you better do your home work, if you do not buy from a known producer. If you order yourself and want to DIY.. those boards have several options, you go for the 3000k 660nm or 3500k 660nm version. I perfer the 3000k, others the 3500k.. read up.. you learn quite some on the way till you order your first gear. If you are not in the mood to read up... do yourself a favor and buy off the shelf a known and tested product. Will help your yield if you know how to handle the lamps. Rest is a bit a mine field of frustration. Not all of the stuff the guys sell is crap.. they just seem to have ordered a bunch of boards and thought all can get used to grow.. the UV boards would work too.. you would just waste the energy for the UV diodes.. as that helps nothing with your plants. If you switch a 450 Watt lamp on for growing, you go 1000 Rand Eskom on top of your usual bill (light will make heat, air needs to get moved). So wasting energy shouldn't be on your list.. the indoor setup will get over taken by the Eskom bill within a year. Is not just the gear.. the gear will constantly cost you money. When you have a 600 Watt lamp in and just let her "shine".. you waste 300 Rand a month on a 1.2x1.2 area. Saving now.. might not be the big saving at the end of the year. The more efficient you can run your lamp(s).. the cheaper you get out of this experience. For a total beginner, outdoor first to see if you don't kill all green things.. if you have a good outdoor result, indoor should work fine, if you give it the same attention. It just comes with way more cost compared to outdoor growing. So fuck ups indoor.. cost more. Buying the wrong gear will actually hinder you making progress. If your Lamp has a dimmer.. you will have issues to set it correctly without a quantum flux meter. Most lamp producers have em set on max and so set their distance to hang.. but if you get a lamp with a dimmer. You enter the world of guessing without a tool costing the same as your lamp. Keep that in mind if you go high performance lamps.. those all have a dimmer in general.
