Quick update, everything is in order. For some reason the server isn't letting my mail got through to them. Got back a response on Instagram super easy and then sent p.o.p on WhatsApp to Angi, seeds were prepped and should be sent out now or tomorrow morning for delivery. Super happy with the customer service, and even more excited for the seeds! Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk5 points

Hey brother, Sure I speak for us all tagged, it's a pleasure Try to always with an Auto, go straight to the final pot from seed, as this is best and less stressful for the plant. If you LST, then you really dont want the added stress. Peace brother4 points

Hey guys, new member here Does anyone here dabble in building LED lights? It is such an addictive hobby and so rewarding watching your babies grow with something built by your own hands. Here are some pics of some of my latest builds using Samsung Lm301b diodes as well as Bridgelux USA LEDs. I have since retired my HPS lights. Let me know what you think!3 points

yeah.. they are a bit slow hehehe I think the light comes into play here. The 8 week blue cheese is on a different speed train They went pre week 2 and were fully flowering week 4. Biggest even reached 70cm so far.. but is really a long shot of the others with around 45cm, they should get to 65-70 final.. so nice size. Gorillas are 90 now and have super dense buds.. so far so good The smell is promising If they taste nice, I get me same again and do it with QBs.. see how that ends. Blue Cheese on a mission end week 5 Left is a Bubblelicious and right blueberry kush, they are a bit behind3 points

Phew! I managed to get my lot down before yours came down! I would have been royally pissed if your babies beat mine from seed to harvest in the space mine did3 points

The site is not affiliated with B&B as much as we would love their support as a new seed bank on the site... As for your technical issues lol.... Have you tried turning it off and back on again??3 points

It looks like bulk seeds repacked. Where are you based? We need to start groups all over the country trading clones. If you have a great phno share it with people in your area. You never know it may evem make it back to you in 2 years time. We have gotten a nice group going in CT. We are swopping out and giving away great genetics so that we share everything. It is selfish keeping great stuff to yourself. Personal gain is over rated.3 points

Week 11. Ok, so my plants have been under the new light for a few days now and guess what? LIGHT BURN. Not only that but I realized that the LED tube light on the back wall is 6000k which I don't think is best for flowering so I removed it. I'm down to 10 plants now and decided to give another 2 to the rabbits as they were looking like males and didn't want to take any chances. So there are 8 left, still to many for the light but I'm gonna chance it. Still loading the plants onto the trolley and moving them into mother nature's light every day. My landlady seems to be just as interested on the progress as I am as she pop's around every day to have a Butcher's Hook (look) so I guess that's a green light. Time to set up the veg box. I have 200w of cfl's and playing around with the setup. Then I still have those under counter led strips and trying to get the specs from the manufacturer. If they are usable I'll rig the 2 of them and the 9w 6000k tube up and use that instead. Think I'll stick to 4 plants per cabinet from now on though. All in all I'm still pretty chuffed with the grow so far. You not gonna believe this bud's but I'm having trouble uploading pics again so I'll put them on in a short while. And that's the grow up to date. Not to worry though, there's still about 6 or 7 week's left till harvest and I'll definitely keep you peeps posted.2 points

They not mistakes, its learning curves I make plenty brother, never be afraid of them, it's how we learn and grow better. Nothing new was ever discovered doing the same thing or what you have been told to do, sometimes we got to go outside the box and learn.2 points

@Tee_Aitch_See @TheUltimateNoob @StickyD420 Thanks for the advise gents, will do some LST over the weekend . One question can one LST and still later plant the lady in a bigger container ? Dont want to stress her out to many times. So if its safer to plant her over to a 10l or 20 l container before doing LST.2 points

You won't 'feel' the CBD high. I've smoked CBD rich strains... It's very relaxing in a way. The buzz is medicated, and not intoxicating. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk2 points

Hey bro, I think at 4 weeks old they should be ready for some LST. I started mine at around 3 weeks or after the second set of true leaves appear and the stem seems strong enough to handle the bend. I haven't gotten to the scrog yet. I think my LST went fairly well for my first time. The tops aren't completely evened out but got some nice bud sites that have formed. Bear in mind that I'm not an experienced grower and just sharing my experience thus far2 points

Ah okay, yeah I was thinking of modding some 12v fans also. Thanks though. Lol, I'm so sure there I've seen desk fans available for like 150 and stuff in the past, before people started needing them for their tents. About the watering line, I had trouble with the OD initially so I used some heat shrink tubes to create a nice seal... The screw cap on the nozzle of the pressure sprayer holds everything in place quite well. Glad I could be of aid bro, and happy growing to you too! Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk2 points
-
I hear you brother, this fan came with my first tent kit, but I’m also struggling to find a decently priced one for my second tent. Seems everyone is out of stock or massively overpriced. Running 2 USB fans until I find another. Mine is also completely detachable, luckily the pipe od is the same as the pipe that has the nozzle, and it has a lock nut with an o-ring that seals it nicely. Happy growing! 100% I do the same. Dry for 7-10 days then in the jars with Boveda packs. Got the small digital hygrometers and I monitor the RH in the jar over the days. Thankfully my RH doesn't get much higher. And stays stable for about 2 or 3 days and then drops closer to the value on the humidity pack I open the jars for a few minutes a day just to break the buds loose from each other and leave it closed until I do it again. Minimum cure of 3 weeks for sufficient flavor I feel. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk2 points

LST is better if you don't already have a screen, and start as soon as you can to develop as many side branches as you can - I'd say week 3 should be the right time to start. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk2 points

I agree... Autos are extremely sensitive. I won't say you can't do it because I've seen threads in which people mainline autos - craziness - but it needs some serious fine tuning and practice. So it's best to just not... Your whole tree could shrivel up in shock and die... On the real. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk2 points

Brother @DamDave Your last post with pictures, the first picture... Remove that he / she /hermie from the rest and axe it, and do not disturb the air or plant to much doing so, turn off your fans too before hand, and packet or get it far away from your house to be safe. That thing will make seeds and all your babies will seed too.2 points
-
Hey brother, All good and you? Nah, dont top an auto, and just train the branchs down so you create an as even canopy as possible. You dont even need to do that, just ask @Prom as he doesn't touch them at all and gets amazing results.2 points

Thanks @TheUltimateNoob ...And thanks for the inspiration on the watering system, that’s what led me to the 5L pressure bottle and drip system I put together for my new tent Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

At the stroke of midnight, we lost our free trade rights to sell CBD. https://www.tnha.co.za/cbd-exemption-expires-where-to-now-for-cbd/ Consumer’s continued free access to CBD without a prescription under threat. On the stroke of midnight on Friday the 15th of May, over-the-counter Cannabidiol (CBD) containing products which have been freely traded in South Africa will revert back to being Schedule 4 medications requiring a doctor’s prescription, despite there being no registered (legally approved) prescription CBD medicines in South Africa. This situation is due to the 12-month exemption notice for certain CBD products expiring without an extension or a permanent exemption despite an impeccable safety profile. This places importers, contract manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and retailers which CBD products in a precarious position, not knowing if they may continue to sell CBD products legally or not. CBD now reverts to being a schedule 4 substance in terms of the Schedules of the Medicines Act. Selling unregistered medicines is a criminal offense under Section 29 of the Medicines and Related Substances Act (Act 101 of 1965). The entire CBD product value chain now requires pharmaceutical trade licenses or pharmacy licenses to sell CBD products legally. In May last year a special exempted category of CBD products was created after our organization took the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) and Minister of Health to court. In a last minute round-table meeting between the SAHPRA and the TNHA’s legal representatives, a historic agreement was reached to exempt CBD from the schedules under specific trade conditions. These included: The daily CBD dosage of the product could not exceed 20mg. The amount of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) could not exceed 1 part per million (0.001%) by volume. The product labels and associated marketing materials could not contain health claims for diseases or serious symptoms, and could only refer to approved low risk ‘well-being’ claims. In a short space of a year under the liberalized exemption framework the CBD marketplace in South Africa has grown considerably. There has been a plethora of new local and imported CBD products entering the market, and a healthy and vibrant marketplace has ensued. This brought about many entrepreneurial success stories and employment opportunities. The public have enjoyed the freedom to choose CBD products freely and gain many benefits from them. To date the SAHPRA has not conveyed any reservations about the safety concerns, or raised any compliance issues with industry bodies. The TNHA are not aware of any reported harms relating to CBD containing products in South Africa which warrant the substance being tossed back into the legal basket of high risk medications requiring a doctor’s prescription and supervision. The only stumbling block for the local CBD industry over the past year has been the reluctance of the National Department of Health’s Food Control Directorate to approve CBD as an additive in foodstuffs and beverages, bringing us into alignment with other countries who have developed ‘edibles and drinkables’ markets. WHERE TO NOW FOR CBD? The SAHPRA has received various regulatory proposals for CBD and hemp seed oil from representative industry associations leading up to the expiry of the exemption notice. With the expiry date of the exemption notice having come and gone our organization will now urgently attempt to engage with the SAHPRA and Minister of Health to seek the reasons for the lapse. With the regulator’s heads wrapped up by COVID-19 and lockdown creating logistical challenges it is possible the deadline was an oversight, or the result of the SAHPRA and Minister not having the time to consider extending the exemption according to stakeholder proposals. The CBD industry and millions of CBD consumers need clarity on the future status of CBD and its continued access Now! Many people now rely on CBD for the maintenance of good health, and will undoubtedly suffer without continued free access to it. Other users may have experienced the reversal of serious health conditions. The harm created by arbitrarily removing the product from the free market without cogent scientific or risk-based reasons could result in being deleterious to health and place people’s health at risk. A risk which we believe far outweighs any potential risk of the substance itself under the existing low risk exemption framework. Should no answer be forthcoming from the SAHPRA and Minister of Health in the near future, the TNHA will have no choice but to proceed with the court case we launched before the exemption.1 point

A further update: NONE OF THESE SEEDS GERMINATE SACF is a scam operation and would avoid at all costs. It’s no wonder they told me they were shutdown by the police and couldn’t send out my order immediately... crooks! Biltong and Budz on the other hand had their order to me within days, and their auto Hindu Kush is in mid flower and is simply beautiful1 point

I wanted to grow a high CBD strain but have never smoked a strain like that before. Didnt know what to expect, so i still have the seed on hand1 point

If the buds are dried nicely, I found that the RH in the jars with Boveda packs won't increase above ~67% even if I left the jar sealed for 3 days. It then dropped to ~60% over the next few days (I get the 58% packs) I did this with 1 jar only out of 3 as an experiment to see if the Boveda packs could keep the RH in check in a sealed jar with freshly dried buds. Worked out well for me, but it's essential to burp the jars if RH in them gets too high... Don't want to risk all that hard work. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk1 point

About you idea of supplementing with the CfL, you can add them on the sides, some growers do that. Love your cabinet bro well done Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk1 point

I found the most success with placing seed straight into the medium, I have germinated many seed successfully in paper towel but somehow many don't survive after planting. So far all my cheap Bulkseed bank seeds that I placed straight into the medium germinated and grows well and my previous 5 with the paper towel method only 2 survived (many other factors can play a role which caused the failure) so I am sticking to straight into medium.
