  1. @1000Hills Nursery after giving me a good understanding of what’s these this little babies like, I think they will be smiling from here on out , some early purpol! these seeds were actually given to me with and order I received from cannabist. Unfortunate. Could have been a good service. Anyway 5 regular beans. They all popped beautifully and 2 made it through the cold. But now they have a home atleast. Fingers crossed for females

  4. I'm also getting the hang of doing it, will be my second time now in grow, and third on its way soon, just battling with seedlings stretching from this Chinese COB. First picture is my test subject who got spiderman'd in a sense, and topped and pulled everything back, then topped again. Then my in flower now, top and leave bottom lower branches, and this works, but next time it's only the main ones on top, then top again as above.

  12. Brother, I believe because your sensor on your phone doesn't have the colour temperature option, it wouldn't show you that reading unfortunately Added, the phone probably has a basic one, just to shut the screen off when face is near for calls, and not the full blown with temps and such, it's often then not even that case on the mid range Samsung too, I'm surprised we even get that option on our phones, it's crazy.

  14. Might be safer to leave it in where it is. (Risk becomes 0. But the yield would be abit smaller) Or take a risk. But u could end up with no yield. Rather put it down as a learning curve. Keep growing as u are. Use this plant as a good starter plant to maybe learn as much as u can for the next grow. Im also starting small. Im in 8L pots bro.

  16. Just started a new 80x80 tent with a 240W quantum board from PhoenixSky: Planted 2 fem Amnesia Haze from Nirvana straight into FF Premium prepped with Seagro and mycorrhizae, sprouted in 3 days: Cheap drip system bought at Builders, which I removed the plastic pressure regulator. I drive this with a 5L pressure sprayer, plug and play(the pipe fits into the spray handle where the chrome pipe goes in and locks with a nut), it has a trigger lock, so you can lock, pump it and leave it. Works very well Happy growing!

  23. Sure thing. Wall of text incoming, but there's a TLDR at the bottom. For context I've got: ⦁ Arizer Solo II ⦁ Arizer Air I ⦁ Boundless CF ⦁ Dynavap M ⦁ Volcano Classic ⦁ Magic Flight Launch Box ⦁ Enano My daily drivers include, the Boundless CF, Solo II and the Dynavap M. My favourite? Sho, that's difficult... Probably the Solo II, I guess. But, they all have their different uses and I really enjoy all of them. Solo II & Air I'd say the Solo is my favourite because of it's build quality, battery and taste. It gets me pretty damn high, pretty damn quickly, even though a session can last about 15 minutes. Both the Arizers are great if I want a bit more flavour in my session. Or if the battery on my CF is dead. The Arizer batteries just don't stop, which is great. The Air and the Solo are pretty similar. The only difference is that the Air has pre-set temps instead of variable temp control on the Solo. There's also a tiiiiiiiiny bit more draw resistance to the Air. But otherwise they both function basically the same. Boundless CF The CF is great for ease of use. I don't smoke much anymore, so I can make a bowl last 3 sessions. I just have to press a button, wait for it to heat up and start puffing. Also great if I wanna smoke a bowl in bed. Great clouds, but the problem is the battery. Also not the best tasting vape out there. If I didn't have my CF and I had the money to add something else to the mix, I would probably reach for a Mighty, because in terms of use, it seems to match a lot of the things I like about the CF. Dynavap M I enjoy using the M when I want a handful of small hits over the evening. They're nice and light, but before you know it, you're higher than a kite. It's also great if I just want 2 big lung busters. Especially good with a water pipe (I tend to use mine without water). The torch can be a bit of a pain in the ass at times though. Volcano Classic The Volcano is great for groups, or if you just want to get smashed (or if you have a high tolerance). Problems? It's a plug in, and it can be a bit noisy. But it's got great tasting vapor, always consistent, built like a tank and super simple to use. Magic Flight Launch Box The Flight Box has been out of commission for a while. It's a pain in the ass to be honest. It was my first vape a good few years ago, and it served me well, even though I did go back to smoking joints shortly after I got it. It just can't keep up with any of my other vapes at the moment. Enano The Enano has, what I believe to be, a broken heating element. It's still under warranty, so I need to arrange an RMA. When I did use it, it was fan-fucking-tastic. It's like a cross between the Arizers and the Dynavap. It's a desktop unit, but SUPER small so it can sit on my desk without being an obstruction. It also works like the Solo or Air where you can just suck up a tiny bit of herb, and get blasted, but in the same time as it would take you to get a hit off of the Dynavap, minus the torch. TL;DR: If I had to choose to keep two, I'd probably go for the Solo II and the Dynavap. They're very different in function, and I like mixing things up. But I would really miss my CF as well. Let me know if you want to know anything else

  29. Not sure how EZ it is... Looks like a bubble cloner, but with a pump, that means it sprays water all over the stems? Works very well... I just have an issue with the transplant period... Going from hydro to soil does work... But not well at all. Even though my rooting success is near 100% with a bubble cloner, the transplant phase always sets me so far back... So iv moved to jiffies and easy cloner plugs... And a dome lol... God I hate domes... But they help

  30. Hey all, You always want to do your last watering as far from harvest as possible, not only will this push the plant to use it reserves but also bring out more flavour and smell, and will have no spare moisture content, this drying better. Try harvest in the dark period, even if you do 48 hours dark, and agree with this method very much. This will be when your lights would normally be off but after your 48 hours off to assure your plants are asleep. Plants when sleeping, will push all starches to the roots, these starches you dont want in your plant when harvesting as they are bitter and just another thing to remove in the drying process if it even all come out. You also dont need to do full 48, as 24 hours is as good, just out of it original for more than a day. Just like grapes or fruits, and a farmer will tell you this too, the more balanced and delicate the climate or schedule, the more delicate the harvest fruits are, or the wine of those grapes, but the best flavor and taste wines, are made from the harsh weather, cold spikes and dry times. Some say there is more THC doing the dark time, but at this stage that is honestly mostly done and its terpenes that are being formed, to make the smell and taste. The dark, and cooler time will help those not burn off from the light. They also kick up more of a stink and stickiness harvested in the cold and dark of night. Respect

  31. It actually mimics what happens in nature, just pushing it to greater extents. Cannabis flowers during winter when the days get shorter and nigts get longer and the temps are all around lower than in summer. So I guess people have tried pushing it with that whole thing and no one can really say if it does any good or bad. Someone on the forum pushed for amber trichs when they where all clear still but the rest of the plant has been showing signs of finishing, so after the 48h dark he had a good percentage of amber. I mean that's pretty cool, but who can say if it was really the dark... If you put ice, remember it melts and within few hours will just be wet soil again. Not to say that the drop in temps might have an effect, but then again so does not giving light at all for that long.

  32. Some guys put a layer of ice cubes at the base of the stem during the last 48hrs to mimic a cold snap which supposedly stresses the plant in a good way? I have to be honest I don't know how stoned these guys were went they thought of this.. so might be old stoner tales or based on some semblance of science..

  33. @Bakstein420 give us an update pic there! Last I saw those plants where banging!!!
    1 point
  34. Yeah I do this, make sure they enter the dark period dry as possible, kickstarts the dry process and there will be no more light that helps with moisture usually. Darkness and humidity is also not a great combination to have with all those beautiful fruits you farmed that already carry their own moisture, think of it as already having them cut and hanging in darkness for dry, then adding pots filled with wet soil in that area. Do you have a nice loupe for checking the trichs?

  35. @Bakstein420 Hey man! I’ve heard this is some thing. And seeing as no possible things that could go wrong with regard to the darkness that long before harvest, I honestly don’t see why not. But maybe somebody can shed light on the darkness. Definitely going to tapper on the water this time round too

  39. Morning 420 fam Got something different for you guys today. First though, I have to get this out of the way; *In no way am I endorsed or sponsored by this site, I just think that their system is quite awesome - this is not an advert* How would you feel if I told you that you could earn GroBucks every time you bought seeds? What is GroBucks you ask? Well, its redeemable points and each point is worth R1! These points can be redeemed for on-site vouchers, from as little as 10 points, and used towards your next order - yes you can save them up for some sick discounts. With the way it's setup and from what I've seen recently, an order of R1249,98 will earn you 55 GroBucks on this site, which is essentially R55. You don't have to spend that much though, single seeds can be found for R124,99 and packs of 5 are R549,99 - that's a flat rate by the way. The site has a good range of strains and is the official distributor of genetics from Nirvana Seeds Amsterdam. Since they're all Nirvana strains, there's no need to break the bank and you can have your pick at what strain you want without worrying if it costs extra. They also have a Pick'N'Mix page on which you can create you own "pack" of seeds (works out a tad bit more expensive) as well as some sick specials on bulk seeds right now ( about R3900 for 50 seeds!). Their shipping is discreet, fast, and at a flat rate as well (R150 to anywhere in SA in 1-3 days - 1 day extra if in a rural area). The site is none other than Marijuana Seeds SA All you have to do is sign up with a valid email address using this link; http://www.marijuanaseeds.co.za/index.php?rfc=hv4u4xpz-5 or use this referral code when signing up from their direct link; hv4u4xpz *The reason for this is that only registered members qualify for GroBucks* Upon completion of registration, you will earn 10 GroBucks which are redeemable immediately, just like that. I'll be completely honest with you guys, if you use the code or link I've provided, I'll earn 5 GroBucks for you signing up and then 2% of any future orders you place. So if you guys get your mates to buy seeds from this site as well, you'll be on your way to getting some really good genetics at a really cheap price. edit: I forgot to mention that they're shipping out 1 free Lithium OG Kush feminized seed with every pack ordered right now, excl. Pick'N'Mix, so hurry up to get even more value for money. Let's get this done people! Have a good one, Peace. I'll be completely honest with you guys,

  41. Hey guys, Figured that I would update that my seeds arrived this morning much to my surprise! Well, most of them...one seed was crushed and semi-disintegrated I’d swerve these guys in the future unless these genetics surprise me...but happy I’ve got some (in my mind right now) free beans!

  42. Took a while to get a hold of the pump, but finally got it! I had my mind on the air lift tech, but made this configuration, because it looked cool and I had extra pipe and fittings are cheap and I had a lot of fun doing it. It's basically all submerged except for the pipes that exit the bucket on the sides and that also helps keep the piping down and in the water, also allows me to close the bucket to reduce noise and spillage. All the pipes disconnect so can easily pack it away and keep it in the box of extras. As I had my mind made up already, I also made a vortex, but by cutting the hole for the drain plug made the bucket single purpose only, so will have to get another bucket if I ever wanted to use the bubbler, but used the same two holes on the side of this bucked and just made a 25mm hole in the bottom. Whole project took me about 45min, but stretched out over like a period of a month! Mostly because water proofing all the connections, but still allowing it to be taken a part for cleaning was a real hassle and then the wait for the pump. Probably gona still do a bunch of "upgrades", but for now I'm happy! Gona give 24h to get rid of chloramine, then add ingredients.

  43. So I do not feel using autos is a great way to test out soil, I would rather use clones from the same plant. Auto's can be iffy, you can get some which will flower sooner than others and that can affect their end size and the yield etc. So they can be quite inconsistent, would make it hard to judge which soil may be better. Looking good though, I assume no training? They just need to fatten up now!
