Finished my light and installed it: My tent isn’t bending from the weight [emoji16] Worked out slightly more expensive than commercially available, but the school fees are priceless [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk7 points

So you in the clear now man? Nothing gonna catch you off guard hopefully. Apologies for the misunderstanding earlier. The members here are passionate and will voice their opinion without fear from what I've seen - also, context & tone isn't generally portrayed well through text. Hope you're all good. No hard feelings, and Happy Growing. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk4 points

The law though, and this forum are not the same. You can be serious all you want. But please don't expect me to tread lightly just because of it, or feel sorry that your feelings are hurt. If you knew me at all, you'd know that I'm OCD level serious when it comes to Cannabis. That seriousness doesn't need to cloud the lighter atmosphere we try to keep going here. It is afterall a social platform. At best all I see is a little light humor, a mild hazing and welcome to the community, but that's just me...4 points

Thanks for the reply, Kush As for the Bill, it's better than nothing and a step toward something, but as SA we need our own unique setup and rules.3 points

The constitutional court said they have to have the Drugs and Drug Trafficking Act amended by the end of this September, so unless they grant an extension it should all come together by then. You can donate up to 100g at a time to another adult according to this Bill. Also remember, that a "Private Dagga Club" is meant to be a non-profit organisation, so any funds accrued by the club needs to go straight back into the club for maybe like events, electricity or paying the gardener to look after the plants for the club. You don't need to worry about GMP or ISO because this is a private club and the product isn't available for public consumption. The consumer isn't paying for the product. The consumer is paying the club for access to the premises where the cannabis is then donated. I would also suggest to said club to do as much outreach as possible and also educate your members on all things cannabis. It's a good look, especially as we try to establish our legal cannabis community.3 points

I've tried the balls that remove water from air, get them at Builders or similar, and they dont work at all, not in a room or even grow space. Then had to invest in a Meaco dehumidifier, the family of that one you got, from Solenco but 20L and actually work, you can get the smaller 12L but rather get the one, once.3 points

My day job is developing apps for mobile phones, so luckily the coding is easy for me, the hard part is getting my ass off the couch [emoji16] And I have too many hobbies, as you can see in my office: I also have 2 3d printers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk3 points

@CoolJ the arb numbers are pointless, I agree with that, but this is a Minister's ego at stake. They feel the need to still show power and retain their authority, in some manner. How is it ever going to be enforced, if it gets passed through and approved? Be nice to your neighbours, don't make enemies and nobody is going to make kak, for you. Drug driving laws also introduced. "Driving or occupying driver's seat while under the influence of intoxicating liquor[ or], a drug having narcotic effect or THC, or with excessive amount of alcohol or THC or a drugs having a narcotic effect in blood or breath"; And some form of blood testing? I read about 100 nano gram THC and didn't bother to read the rest.3 points

My god, well done bro. That wiring is so pleasing to look at, thank you so much for doing it that way, lol. I'm sure it will perform well [emoji1362] I'm curious though, what made it cost more? Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk3 points

You'll survive don't worry, when you start pulling more than 1.2 kg per harvest then you can be unhappy.3 points

I think on one hand, the philosophy of regulating a plant which grows in nature is a doozy. So on that I agree with you. Regulating private use works two ways; one is to obviously limit you, but it also acts to protect you. The fact that we are given a set perimeter means no one can take your cannabis away from you as long as you are within the law. Also, 1.2kg my bru. The government I believe are well aware of the economic benefit this plant could have for the country, so they need to establish legislation that separates private use from commercial dealings because what comes next is the legalisation of trade of cannabis in the country. Also, the constitutional court commanded parliament to pass law two years from it's judgment, which will be this September, which is why we are seeing all of this now.3 points

I'll be creating a mother plant from a selection of 8 plants of the same strain, keep the mother in a veg tent, and use clones in the flower tent which I will then use the SCRoG method to get as much as the tent filled as possible. Probably do the 8 plants in 40L fabric pots to allow for as much veg time as needed. Otherwise I would have done 12 plants in like 20L pots with a shorter veg, but I foresee that would be illegal now if the bill passes in it's current form3 points

Okay, I do so already that way, thank you. I really like your grow and definitely have to go with the same training I have been, but remove the lower bud sites as you have done and just all on top at the light zone and bigger buds, less, but bigger and juicy ones. @Bakstein420 had a decent one too and @TheUltimateNoob3 points

The defoliation seems endless. These girls always bounce back so quick though. Starting to see some preflower beginning to form. I donked up a bit and one branch seems to be competing more than the rest on one plant. The rest are coming out pretty sweet. I don't really feel the need to attempt further LST on the rogue branch. The stems are super strong as intended so I'll take that over a perfect flat canapoy. The SCRoG net will sort that out in future. Otherwise the outside plant is doing swell as well. Loving the structure so far. Outside3 points

Law degree really helps Sure you can, just don't call it a transaction. You're allowed to gift 100g of dry herb, 30 seeds/seedlings, and one flowering plant. There's also a section where you can calculate amount of concentrate you can have/gift. It is simply two giftings happening one after the other Don't worry. If anything gets you "in trouble" you're really only left with the inconvenience of dealing with the police as long as you are indeed within the scope of the law. This is why we must remain vigilant and make noise if the time comes. I also have no doubt we would be given direction by Fields of Green and Schindlers Attorneys in this regard as well.2 points

I wouldn't mind starting one of these really. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk2 points

@Ill_Evan Howzit bro! You seem to be quite clued up on the topic. I was wondering if you may know what would be the legalities around the Clubs supply system. Or have a good idea on the direction. Would there need to be GMP, and ISO regulations that need be abided by? Or these contracted clients who are paying for services rendered would not have to be so stringent? There has to be some sort of quality controls. And licensing, tax registering? Maybe it will be something that becomes more clear when commercial laws are revealed. But If you say it’s may be better than the Laws in Spain, Then there must be good provision for small scale farmers/club suppliers. Which is amazing!2 points

I get you. Might be better to just wait until you get another one. The one on bidorbuy is better because it uses a hydrophilic substance to wick moisture out of the air instead of a heating element to dry the air out or something. I say give it a shot, but you'll need to save up and invest in a proper dehumidifier if you want to run one all the time and keep a stable RH... I've had a smaller Chinese one, much more powerful that that rechargeable one... Didn't make much of a difference The airflow of the dehumidifier you end up getting will make a difference as well because if your grow area has active extraction, you may be exchanging the air faster than the time it takes for the device to effectively remove the moisture - its the problem I had. For something more effective, you may want to use the dehumidifier in the room you're growing in that the grow space is taking intake air from, or not too far from the intake perhaps... This way it will lower the overall intake humidity instead of trying to remove whatever little moisture it can in a high air-exchange environment. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk2 points

Seems like battery management sensor shuts off the outputs when the device is being charged to save the batteries. If you still wanna mess with it, you'll need to match the voltage of the batteries to a small power brick and solder the output wires of a USB from the power brick or the output wires from the power brick itself to where the batteries connect to the circuit. It'll bypass the BMS and give direct power to the board, simulating an infinite battery as long as its plugged in - that way switching the power on with a timer will turn on the device. I'm pretty sure it'll fix the issue. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk2 points

Would be interesting to compare a scrog to a mainline grow. When I upgrade my space I'll be running 2 or 3 trees in flower at any given time. I'll flower all 3 together for the first run, we can check the harvest compared to ScrOG. Not anytime soon though. Still need to get my light. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk2 points

Nebula method is a beast. I've done it to my Blue Dream which was my first proper Indoor harvest... It set the bar so damn high for my expectations and standards now that I refuse to grow any other way. My latest development is flippen weird though. One of the branches on the Inzane self topped and it threw my entire training off... This was before I snapped it... Oh yeah she recovered from the snap as well. I'll show you guys when the light comes on... I don't know how to continue doing what I want to do [emoji23] Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk2 points

Lol[emoji23] looks like a lot of my prototypes when I'm making things, no joke. If it works that way I don't really have a reason to change or upgrade it, most of the time I leave them looking like that and just use it as is. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk2 points

Ya be happy about the Government controlling a plant that they didn't give 2 hoots about a few years ago but now they want to tell you how and when about it. Let's arrest and ostracize people for years for using the plant and then just switch it up control it when profitability becomes viable2 points

Why is private use regulated anyway? You can plant as many vines as you want to make wine or brew as much as you want to make beer. Why must my private use be regulated? Nobody tells you how many potatoes you can grow and consume? Step in the right direction but not too happy.2 points

As anticipated, people are still joining up to vent their frustrations with Cannabist... rightfully so! I would too... To avoid a pile up of related threads I am creating this post for members to link to when necessary, shortly thereafter the thread will be deleted. The situation It's gotten to the point where the number almost seems like hundreds, but there have been a very large of number of people who have joined 420SA to find out what they can do about their order that has not been fulfilled by Cannabist. This has been going on months now after the lockdown started and the common thread that has developed is that there is ZERO communication from Cannabist and this can draw out for weeks, even months. What's their excuse? Their excuse is the lockdown... a terrible excuse but it's their excuse nonetheless. Have you been scammed? No.... well at least not from the onset and Cannabist has been operating legitimately for the last year or so. We suspect there may be a break in their supply chain, a terrible error of judgement on their part which has screwed everyone over including themself. They are for the most part a drop shipping bank i.e. they take your money, pay it onto their supplier who will then send the seeds. Something has gone very wrong in the whole process So what now? Firstly, drop your expectations of being helped soon. They seem in no rush to value you as a customer and will not rush to inform you of when you might be getting your seeds. As they are a seedbank you unfortunately don't have the consumer protection act to help you, although I'm not 100% clued up on that. We'd suggest that you pursue other seeds in the mean while but continue to put pressure on them to fulfill your order. Put pressure on OZOW to remove them Ozow is a payment platform they recently signed up. Alert them to your situation and get other buyers to do the same! https://ozow.com/ Good luck out there!2 points

Great idea for this thread! I think I might have over-engineered my frame [emoji51] Made with 45 mm extrusion which has one flat side for sticking the Samsung F-Series double row 2 footers. Going for 240W to replace my California Lightworks 250 in a 80x80 Weighs 6KG [emoji15] I will replace the the corner fasteners with a lighter option to save some weight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points
