Ok dried and trimmed the 3 plants gave 150g of bud. The smoke is an amazing sativa high. It's really nice for an autoflower. I would definately recommend Fastbuds cheese.4 points

I was also busy in the compost this weekend at my dad's place... It's quite a workout turning the pile. My dad's been composting some stuff for a good few years now and the stuff we found at the bottom was really beautiful sweet smelling black gold, loaded with earthworms. The garden is going to loooove it3 points

I think flushing the soil might strip the soil of good ammendments and additives that were pre added. But if u dont flush the soil . U probably would have build up from all your nutez. Which would probably be imbalanced to start again. Im not saying that u cant do it. But . Do u really wana risk getting 60-70% complete with your grow. And then realise that your soil is stuffed up and u heading down hill. That would probably be around 2 months of work down the drain. Im pretty sure that there are ways to reammend the soil to be used again. But from my opinion. Better to play it safe then hope for the best. Control what u can. While u can.3 points

Hello, just checking if it's the FF Premium Classic (green bag) or the craft soil, Premium is fine I plant rooted clones in it they looooove it but the Craft soil might be to much for a young seedling. Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk3 points

Jeeeebus. How does one pick his favourate rainbow? I haven't found seeds of this plant, was lucky to grow out a clone and it came out just as I wanted. Will fill up my space with it next time I find it. Elvis. Cross between Skunk #1 and AK47 and absolutely amazing. It's a sativa dominant hybrid that you can smoke all day and it fucking knocks your socks off, but doesn't make you wana sit down for hours. Frosty buds like you would not believe and the skunky skunk lineage makes for that super loud smell and pungeant taste. Another plant making the realms, being kept alive by someone supplying clones of it to the whole cape, is the famous Big Buddha Cheese. Always big pleasure getting my hands on some of that and will grow it out every chance I get. Those are two from my growing experience, from my history of smoking there's a few names that come up. Mostly the crowd favourites because, well... why else would they be crowd favourites? GorillaGlue#4 GSC is right up there Gelato And many many others3 points

The biobizz time tables start when you drop the bean in the glass. You are week three, you give what week 3 tells you. Please note that the table is not good to apply for autos finishing in 8 weeks... or photo outdoor grows.2 points

Make clones, or who ever gets it, make clones and share with us all... Well, who ever is close enough to collect or send it too. Very kind of you Prom2 points

I think it is a waist of money. That is just my point of view. If you start with good soil just add compost tea's and seed sprout tea's. Your plants should do great. Rather research those products and make your own mixes. Im not aying their products are not worth it if you have the cash. Comsumerism.2 points

What's up yo! Welcome to the party! There is a whole section on extracts and I'm sure you will find some good info. As for the hardware, you can take a look at the classified section and maybe you find something that you like2 points

Interestingly enough i recently watched a podcast on this subject, small LED's / indicator lights. And apparently it will in fact disrupt the dark cycle most of the time (showing your friend with a flash in the dark does the same thing). Some people say Green LEDs / indicators are fine. I would not risk it.2 points

Just placed my first order with them last night! Settled with the Ripper seeds DO.G pack. Very excited.2 points

Now that she's standing, be carefull of water logging and damping off. I'm sure the foam cup has holes in it for drainage? Let the medium dry a bit more and only give a shot glass of water every few days. Don't saturate the medium. Make the roots go look for the water. Once true leaves come out back under the 240w. You gona mix anything into the FF soil? Or else I would suggest biobizz as mr. Dank has before mentioned.2 points

Aaaahh Awesome. Just recieved both my orders. This week. After placing it over the long weekend.2 points

The craft soil (Green Bag) is fine for seedlings. Below a few I put straight into it and they are loving it.. Just my observation..1 point

The first time I smoked it I felt like being on another planet. It's a great smoke I can really recommend. When I saw this strain first I thought "what a crappy name" and then I saw the breeders info about THC content. Then I saw some really good reviews on leafly and decided to give this strain a go to see for myself. Very nice Sativa high.1 point

Hello brother, I'm sure we will be able to assist where possible, and hope you enjoy your stay here. Peace1 point

I'm a bit confused myself man haha, I've germinated and sprouted, but I'm sure I saw somewhere that your plants are only considered as vegetating after 2-3 weeks of sprouting once they have their proper set of leaves, and then that is week 1 of vegetative stage1 point

the FF premium classic is great, no need to invest more on soil. You might want to go 60L fabric pots.. bigger even better. Carefull, FF soil does not provide enough stability for monster trees and wind, you need to cage those best. I like your selection of the biobizz range.. as you know molasses already, just add a bit during flower and you made your own biobizz Grow. Short dirty table. Lets say you start mid october. First 2 weeks nada, just let them germinate. Start with 2ml fish mix per liter rain water in week 3, beginning Nov. End Nov, beginning Dec, 3ml Fish per liter, depending a bit on size. End december you change to 4ml per liter fish mix. Some change faster, some slower. Around 27 jan, they should go or be Pre. Also your swap, redunce to 3ml fish and add 1ml molasses, 2ml bloom per liter Next change is flowers form, little ones but flowers... 2ml fish, 2ml molasses and 3ml bloom per liter. Flowers now thick like your little finger. 2ml fish, 2ml molasses, 3ml Bloom, 1ml TopMax per liter Flowers thumb size... 2ml fish, 2ml molasses, 4ml bloom, 2ml TM Week after add 1ml TM additional (3ml), another week after another ml... should be 4ml total now. When all your pistil hair are brown, time to flush for 7 days. Pure water only... Pity is that plants cant read... but they tell you if you over do it. Just observe new grown material and react. Hope it helped...1 point

That's my thinking also thanks. Will monitor them a bit more closely now and make a call if it continues, not worth keeping one plant for the sake of just keeping it.1 point

Hahaha! So I took some more pictures this morning, excuse the quality. I suspect this one might be a hermie. Do I leave it as is or do I remove the sacks? Theres not even 10 of them or is this now the state the plant will stay in? Am I correct in assuming that a hermie can also pollinate my other plants?1 point

The scaffolding helped a lot, but it was much more tedious to get right honestly... And the colas didn't really support themselves like they did with my nebula mainline because the scaffolding base created a much smaller square in which the training took place as compared to the stakes in the ground Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk1 point

I have no drains but I make sure no rain can get in and that it is moist in there but not soggy. Also thought about just making a pile but I am worried that all this rain is going to wash out the nutrients over time so I decided to go with the containers for now. I mix it through every 1-2 weeks to give it some ventilation though. So far no fungi .1 point

Nice one @afternoon blazer! I love Amnesia and lately my Inzane in the membrane (got the idea one of the parents must be an Amnesia). For the evening my favourite is Purple Afghan Kush. I hope to find new favourites this season .1 point

As anticipated, people are still joining up to vent their frustrations with Cannabist... rightfully so! I would too... To avoid a pile up of related threads I am creating this post for members to link to when necessary, shortly thereafter the thread will be deleted. The situation It's gotten to the point where the number almost seems like hundreds, but there have been a very large of number of people who have joined 420SA to find out what they can do about their order that has not been fulfilled by Cannabist. This has been going on months now after the lockdown started and the common thread that has developed is that there is ZERO communication from Cannabist and this can draw out for weeks, even months. What's their excuse? Their excuse is the lockdown... a terrible excuse but it's their excuse nonetheless. Have you been scammed? No.... well at least not from the onset and Cannabist has been operating legitimately for the last year or so. We suspect there may be a break in their supply chain, a terrible error of judgement on their part which has screwed everyone over including themself. They are for the most part a drop shipping bank i.e. they take your money, pay it onto their supplier who will then send the seeds. Something has gone very wrong in the whole process So what now? Firstly, drop your expectations of being helped soon. They seem in no rush to value you as a customer and will not rush to inform you of when you might be getting your seeds. As they are a seedbank you unfortunately don't have the consumer protection act to help you, although I'm not 100% clued up on that. We'd suggest that you pursue other seeds in the mean while but continue to put pressure on them to fulfill your order. Put pressure on OZOW to remove them Ozow is a payment platform they recently signed up. Alert them to your situation and get other buyers to do the same! https://ozow.com/ Good luck out there!1 point

Yipp, I noticed the same when I grew some autos. Even when growing photoperiods, the times g Are generally a bit shorter to make them seem more appealing. Looks good though. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk1 point

So the soil test is almost over. They will be harvested over the next week. I think my minds made up over how to proceed with the autos. 100 days. Seedbanks tell you they are ready in 60days from seed. They are ready when they tell you they are ready.1 point

Reading through your post and thinking about it. it makes sense to have an entry fee. You get respect for it, I am talking about the people paying the entries. It can be used for the distribution costs, so you dont have suppliers letting you down. Free does not work, people dont respect free. Throw the entries into a kitty of sort and make the winnings bigger or lets donate that as a community to the Dagga Couple/ Fields of Green for All. Afterall they are the reason why we can grow in the first place. I dont think you should eliminate newbie growers, but of course they need to be active in the community. Just want to say keep it up. I won 3rd prize in a comp on here last year, never expected anything and received my prize very quickly. Great community!!1 point

Hi fellow growers, just read through this thread and came up with an idea to ensure that all participants grow a similar or same phenotype... Maybe it has already been brought up but what about every participant gets a clone from one motherplant? Would that be possible from a logistical point of view?1 point
-
How does a minimum of 3 grows sound? I'm specifically referring to indoor grows. Outdoor, maybe 21 point
-
Nominal Entry fee is a good idea, should 1. subsidise seed delivery, 2. Contribute to prize 3. Commit to completing grow1 point
