So this is what my current feminized run looks like. Plants between 3 and 5 weeks of flower. I have 3 different chocolope NL phenos, and Chocolope NL #1 is the pollen donor, her one branch was treated and the other left untreated with STS. Then there is an OKC, Slurricane, And Green Crack. Pollination has started. ...6 points

Been a while since the last update, still building on the initial flower production. Things have been pretty breezy so far. I didn't quite get the flat canopy between the two bigger plants that I wanted but ey The Outdoor Single Fat Ladies Skinny Chicks Potted Babies Le Overview 16 Fingered Groot @StickyD4206 points

Hey Raf, I rate as long as the strain is a majority/pure indica with a late harvest then it should be great for pain and insomnia. The reason for the late harvest being a prerequisite is that the later the harvest, the more THC is converted to CBN which is fantastic for pain and insomnia. The reason for indica is that sativas usually have less CBD. You would want the CBD to help counteract and level out the affects because you're using it to help you sleep.4 points

What region are you, @zolrooker? no power since Tuesday... holy crap!3 points

Thanks man. Probably only gonna come back tomorrow. Been running a generator intermittently in combination with emergency light when the gennie goes down. The girls have suffered enough this week lol, but through the cold temps, lack of airflow and rationed light they're looking good.3 points

Look at the colouring on your leaves, plants don't look happy.Have you been adjusting the PH on your feed? Edit: you also don't wanna stress the plant, if you want to see the sex flip to flower or wait a bit longer and she if you get any pre-flower pistils. I'd suggest wait until you're happy to flip them, then flip to flower and monitor during week 2 and 3. Anything with pollen sacs can be tossed. Flipping to flower to determine sex, then back to veg will just slow down your grow a looot. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk3 points

Hi there Friends, I'm new to the group but been browsing for a few weeks before signing up. I have started my first grow in Winter indoors with no lighting, intention was always to grow outside once it gets warmer. I purchased feminized Northern Lights and Blue Cheese as I was particularly looking for strains to support with a little pain relief but more to aid sleep. Obviously the high is an added benefit. I have 2 of each growing in 420 mix with a little earthworms compost and been feeding weekly with fresh earthworms (Juice) from my composting box. I started 3 weeks ago using Micro, Grow and Bloom 3 parts since a friend suggested using this to improve yields. Seeds were purchased from Mary Jane Seed company, I have no clue about the quality of their seeds but suspect oen of them is a Male, please can anyone confirm this? The pics are of the Northern Lights, first Pic looks like a male, the other looks very good(I think) Appreciate any coaching and advise, will post more pics tomorrow. Raf2 points

I've been using Jack Berry outdoor home grow for 3 years now. Just completed my 1st indoor and judging from my early harvest pic I am convinced I was originally given what was stated on the pack. Anyway, I wake up, 4am, spliff, 6am, baby and wife wake up, spliff, 8am, start the day, spliff, you get the drift. I have a constant 'old war wound' back and neck pain, the moment I've been without spliff for a day or two, eina to the tenth. Jack Berry gives me a mellow high, brings out the creative juices in me, and no feeling doff or paranoid. And it really helps with my pain. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk2 points

Hey buds, life kinda took over hence the silence. I made the decision to reduce my plants to 4, 8 just seemed to much for the light coverage. Two happy rabbits and a parrot though. The remaining plants seemed to like the new arrangement but then again every parent will tell you how beautiful their baby is. Although I did get light burn of a sorts or a potassium deficiency more than likely. I had to harvest a week or so earlier than I wanted to due to lighting issues. Was not exactly happy but what can you do. All in all I'm happy with the outcome. Going into something you not familiar with and expecting low results sometime produces a bonus. My bonus: learnt a lot, thanks guys. ready for the next round. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk2 points

Here we are 14 days into flower today Plants got one Microbe and one Fire Juice feed and the rest just water. Stretch was about 13cm so far and my limited light height problem might work out to be not a big problem. Girls look happy so I'm happy. 2 pics each of OKC GSC Sapphire OG Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk2 points

The three harvested plants.. one was very very low.. the corner plant beside the duct didnt really got a lot of light. I also didn't expect them to get that tall.. 6 would have been better for this size tent.. but, was a first time grow.. will do them again. ^^ Video week 12, I took em end week 12.. wasn't really 50% but I had a bit enough of the waiting hehehe plant was 8-10 weeks after Royal Queen Seeds.. might have taken 13 to get them 50/50 all 8 hanging, the first three harvested are on the right.. middle of the three is the smallest yielder (25g dry), the other two reached 58g each (i always round down) 141 grams so far Made a pic when I trimmed the leaves of one of the big ones2 points

Ja because the fabric allows the pots to dry from the side. If they dry to fast roots do not even reach the sides. I remember the roots came through the sides of the pot when they were new. I have not experienced that in a long time.1 point

100% it's for hydro, and coco is basically hydro. I'd say yes all the way, Soil, as mentioned, has it already1 point

Need to add that the humidity is hectic and the Sonof kicks in alot, lights on from 13:00 - 1:00 so with the fan running my lights of temps has gone done to 15 a few nights. I now reajust the humidity just before I go to sleep and then again when lights come on. Also moved lights on from 12:00 - 13:00 and will do that once a week till I get to 18:00 to kick in. So ones a week they have a 13 hr dark cycle and 11 light on cycle, let's hope it works out Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk1 point

Not promising anything to anyone, but I may be this person. Been planning a legal commercial grow for a while but funding is an issue. Working on a unique product (since I'm a chemist) using weed, and if I can get the formula and processes just right I'm pretty sure I can secure some agreement to grow on a large scale to produce what I need. If ever it comes to light, which I'm hoping it will, it means South Africa will have a reason to commercially grow weed. What I need is ways to extract cannabinoids and terpenoids and then use them by themselves... I don't have the means or the cash, but I have the knowledge... I've worked with fractional distillation, regular, rotovap applications and a bunch of other equipment while doing my course and a bit after. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk1 point

Week 7ish. So I've decided to build a bigger cabinet by slapping 2 shelving units together and use 1 of the other cabinets as a veg box. Trying to improve the lighting somehow. I've attached cfl's and a led tube light permanently and the shelving I'll lower as the plants grow. Not the ideal way to use cfl's, I know, but hoping I'll get better light distribution than my previous setup. Oh, by the way, my plants have been on 12/12 for about a week now. I have also started chatting with @growopz to see what he can do for me concerning LED's on a very small budget.1 point
