Numbers always nice to have. Total flower material 397g, close shave dressed buds 302g... full jar for the press on dressing material Veg light 180 watt, Flower 269 watt Mars 144 Fan 80 watts... i count the 6 inch inliner.. those plants got a lot of air Light distance measured 250 mmol for germination, 500 veg, 1000 flower Plant was set as 8 to 10 weeks. I harvested end week 11 3 and end 12 the rest. Not 50/50 yet Test smoke was smooth and already tasty.. the usual fresh weed aftertaste. Soil: FF green bag 50% : 50% home made compost / Fertilizers: BioBizz (Root Juice, Fish Mix, Grow, Bloom, TopMax) Feeding table Week 1 ( starting timer when seeds hit the water inside the glass) 4ml root juice per liter Week 2 2ml Fish Mix per liter Week 3 3ml Fish Mix per liter Week 4 3ml Fish Mix or Grow in rotation, 2ml Bloom per liter Week 5 3ml Fish Mix or Grow, 3ml Bloom per liter Week 6 had yellow tips starting, reduced to 3ml grow, 2ml bloom per liter for one feed, next feed 4ml grow, 3ml bloom, 1ml TopMax (fish is heavy on N, reduced that) Week 7 4ml fish mix or grow(still rotating both), 4ml bloom, 2ml TopMax Week 8 4ml fish or grow, 4ml bloom, 3ml top max Week 9 4ml fish or grow, 4ml bloom, 4ml topmax (i stick to 4/4/4 til flush usually) Week 10 4ml fish or grow in rotation, 4ml bloom, 4ml topmax Week 11 4/4/4.. sorry lazy (the three small ones went water, and end week 11 dark, left the tent) Week 12 flush, pure water as demanded for 5 days, then dark for 2, cut, trimm leaves, hang to dry. Please do not use this feeding table as a beginner!!! As the plants were set by the breeder to 8 to 10 weeks, they could be ready in 8 weeks. I used my 8 week feeding table... it really takes no prisoner and at one stage i usually have to adapt to not run into trouble. But i am a bit old school, my brain works after the simple logic, the more i stuff into a turkey, the fatter it gets... those Gorillas handled the nuts rather well. The plants get to big for SOG (to much time waste growing), even they form a even canape.. to much waste of the lower plant. Autos dont form bud, if there is no light on the bud. So from the 100cm tall plant, 25cm are a bit of a waste to grow. Solution, more light, less cramped space. Should harvest better. With the 8 plants i didnt even reach 50g average. I expected 75cm plants.. my bad, one reached 120. Rest about same, the mentioned 100cm. First time is always a bit guessing, how big they get. And when the breeder say... 120 to 150 tall... i reached 75cm and still loved my harvest. Not as good as those guys but who cares if you love the result of the smoke. The measured light is a huge difference... i get 30 to 40% taller plants with the right mmol amount for each stage, have to get used to it. What would i change 6 plants in a 1.2x0.6 next time, to get 2 fans in, even 4 might do. Lower part should get more light and compensate quite a bit. Would LST the branches and cut the lowest 2 double nodes. I see those Royal Gorillas give 100g a plant. As you saw on the leaf structure, very very sativa heavy auto. So for not doing much, acceptable result. Nothing great, nothing bad. The weed, i think i will enjoy very much. I put a smoke test in a few weeks to finish this report. I add something about the weed. Royal Gorilla Automatic by Royal Queen Seeds It is a cross of Royal Gorilla and Royal Cookie... plus a cup winner. When i open a jar, you just know, that is some tasty s..t if you are into sativas, give it a go.7 points

Seagro is a very friendly and very weak fertilizer. When your plants leave germination state, you can give them more Seagro, if that is your only N source. Go 4 to 5 ml per liter. The way more potent N source you get at Builders is GuanoFlo. This one packs about 1/3 of the punch biobizz fish mix has. I still wouldnt go over the recommended dosage, GuanoFlo has enough punch to burn your plants. Seagro doesnt... Start biobizz bloom with 1ml per liter when they go pre! Not before! Then work the dosage up, till you reach 4ml per liter, 2 to 3 weeks before harvest. If you start and want to make your life as easy as possible, select a known fertilizer brand and follow their feeding instructions on the dot! You use FF green bag, good cannabis specific fertilizer, your plants will grow sweet, if you water correct. Now you learn the plants.. even same batch of seeds, will grow different. Not said, even with this setup, that your plants will survive... but you have a great base to work on. You learn germination, veg, pre and flower... will go nuts waiting for harvest and do your first dry. Soooooo many possible fuck ups... but you dont have to figure our your fertilizer (this one is a bitch... is the dot on the i to get a perfect grow). My main point, dont try to invent the wheel again... make it as easy as possible. Mixing fertilizer without actually knowing what you do... will end as a waste of money... something will run into a deficiency or you burn them. Doesnt has to be the expensive biobizz range, enough other options... just a kit providing you all for a full grow cycle. Take the fertilizer off your mind and enjoy the grow.. enough to learn. They didnt wrote the dosage on for fun, they tested... use their numbers, should end good. You dont feed depending on time, you feed depending on moisture concentration in the soil and you fertilize depending on plant stage and need. Experience you gain by time will make it easier. Lift each pot, and when feather light... yeah, and they still dont hang the leaves, amazing... you make em wet again. Most people kill their first plants by over watering or the fertilizer (to much or not enough). If you wanna use biobizz... get a bottle of fish mix to use during veg, pre and flower. If you want to save a bit, mix 750ml fish mix with 250ml molasses and you just made your own biobizz grow. Top max is a must.. sorry expensive but worth the money, bio heaven i dont use... but want to compare a grow once to see differences, some of my friends enjoy using it a lot. Veg only fish mix, Pre start and swap grow and fish mix each feed. Follow that scheme till flush. So to make it short... as a beginner, i think mixing fertilizer on hopes and dreams... will not help3 points

First 2 weeks, temperature is your main enemy. Dont let the soil go below 12 degrees.. keep it between 20 and 25 degree is best. If you dont let them dry out, will work easy in the FF soil. 30 liter pots are rather small for outdoor fems, rest, good luck3 points

Nice brother, Will keep track of your grow and progress, and wish you the best of luck, The community are here to assist you with anything you need to know or advise you may require. Peace✌ Added, I do understand you are trying things and have done the same too, but if you looking at being scientific or precise, then you'd want to use the same strain for the pot test, and not just 2 different seeds of the same, but 2 clones of the same health, from the exact same plant.3 points

Whatsup my 420 family As the title indicates, this is going to be my First Outdoor Growing Experience I must admit, I have 2 plants busy growing in organic potting soil that I have been using as test subjects These were just 2 seeds I got from some decent buds I got a little while back, decided to try the germination process and planting them. I wanted to do this first, as I didn't want to go all out and purchase seeds and medium when I couldn't get the first steps half right None the less, this will be Officially, my First Outdoor Grow Diary. So lets kick this Dairy off with the seeds The seeds have all been purchased through Biltong and Budz (for the first time buying seeds, I must say, these guys delivered some awesome service). They are also all Photoperiod seeds. Banana Kush [Feminized] Sunset Sherbet [Feminized] Platinum OG [Fast Feminized] Bruce Banner [Fast Feminized] As for the Medium, I went with Freedom Farms Premium Classic Living Soil. For Nutrients, I have gone with Terra Aquatica Pro Organic Grow and Bloom. For Pots, I have decided to go with 2 x 40l Fabric Pots and 2 x 30l Plastic Pots, wanted to experiment between the 2. Excuse the pictures, taking pics isnt a specialty of mine but I will try get better shots as these ladies grow Just some random shots of a seed during the germination stage (all my other pics were blurry AF), Medium, Nutrients, and their homes.2 points

So this is what my current feminized run looks like. Plants between 3 and 5 weeks of flower. I have 3 different chocolope NL phenos, and Chocolope NL #1 is the pollen donor, her one branch was treated and the other left untreated with STS. Then there is an OKC, Slurricane, And Green Crack. Pollination has started. ...1 point

Aweh fellow Greenfingers. Our winter outdoor grow is going well, ladies are short but the terpenes are sweet. 1-3. ''Chololate Gorilla'' lady doing her thing. 5. Swazi gold bagseed starting to fill out nicely. 6. Purple Stilton showing some pom poms. 7. Lemonchello also starting with flower. 8-9. Pregnant Purple haze x Pineapple express dubbed ''Purple pineapple'' lady. Her awesome colours inspired some pollination. Harvested about a 100 beans so far and probably 100 more to go. 10. 1st of the Purple Pineapple progeny. 11. Got gifted a bag of beautifull EWC from @420sake and his missus on our recent visit. Putting it to good use. Got some Yellow maize germing on my media player for SST for the flowering girls. Acquired a drum of molasses from the farmers co-op, R120/25kg(not paying 40 bucks for 500ml anymore.) Soil is cooking in the corner for the summer grow. Cheers.1 point

The biobizz feeding table is veeeery friendly and set so you dont burn. i feed a lot more aggessive .. not weaker. But that is based on pure experience using the fertilizer on over 200 plants. They give you a very nice indication to end up with serious buds... follow them. The biobizz table is for autos... or fems you run over a 3 months indoor cycle. I recommend autos these days in general to start with. You can grow them all year around and learn just faster. The more i work with em, the more i love em. Very easy to grow and get results. And seed free outdoor... you only get with autos. I used seagro myself for years outdoor... you go through bottles, is very weak and when i started to use guanoflo, already plant size and bud size improved. I used biobizz once outdoor... never had a better result... never. But outdoor and indoor weed... i hardly smoke outdoor, stopped growing outdoor. Beware next outdoor season... legal to have 4 plants... bag seed... i plan on better filters for next outdoor season If somebody told you to reduce the feeding amount, as your plants are still small. Yes, agree, dont feed full. If you use the biobizz range and follow the table, the plants should always reach the needed size so you can follow their guide. They provide enough for the general grow cycle over 3 months. Rest you have to adapt. Auto come in handy here... you select a long auto taking 12 weeks, you just follow that table blind and focus on growing the plants. will be so easy and result so stunning, you will get hooked to the fertilizer.. happened to me love the stuff, buy it now in 5 liter containers1 point

Thanks bro, I tried to lessen the dosage from the recommended dosage on the bottles as I was previously advised to. I haven't used the top max but I will probably buy that with my next grow and when the wallet allows. I'm pretty happy using the seagro. The plants seem to respond quite nicely to it. I messed around a bit trying to figure out my feeding schedule in the beginning but will be a bit more diligent with my next grow. I only say 5 to 7 days between feeds, because that was on average how long it took for soil to get dry. This changed throughout the plant's life. I've just been very careful not to over water. I tried some bag seeds a few months ago as my very first attempt with a blurple chinese type light and I completely messed it up. This time around, I learnt the importance of patience.1 point

Ive been thinking about this product to be honest. I have added microbes. Using a few variant of fungal and bacteria. But wondering if it’s enough. think it all depends on how much micro-biology you want at the end of the day. Variety, volume And symbiosis. @Totemic had a conversation recently about inorganic/synthetic relationship with microbes and weather detrimental to microbiology and that’s got everything to do with concentration. When an infestation hits it’s never easy to get that stuff sorted. So they don’t die easy. Having said that, their job is to take part of a cycle efficiently, that’s why hydrogen peroxide has benefits, survival of the fittest. Similar to Super-oxide dismutase enzyme... They dismantle O and H free radical(toxic cell) and microbes ok let me not run off topic we talking about adding microbes and not killing microbes so yes and no I would say maybe as inoculants at each phase of growth and diversify accordingly over time. And that how I’d be using it if I make up my mind. Let me know how it goes bud1 point

@DamDave Part of the beauty with LEDs is the fact that they can be adjusted soo easily and this helps improve overall efficiency in ones grow. Why run 240W when you have seedlings and are veggings when you can get away with far less? Dim that 240W LED QB down to say 40w for seedling, bump up a bit as the plants get bigger, and once you've started flowering you can incrase it even more. Also despite the fact that your typical QB is rated around 240W, running it at that is not necessarily needed and is likely not going to give you the best efficiency. LEDs are more efficient when run at lower watts as @growopz has mentioned. Heat will decrease the life of your diodes (cause them to degrade quicker) and will also lead to higher power consumption. PPFD output is not linear, yes the PPFD will increase as the watts increase but you end up with diminishing returns as you get closer to the max rated power of the diodes. My last grow I ran my QBs at 60W each during flower, as opposed to their rated power handling of 120W and results were pretty good. Obviously everyones situation is different and the size of the tent and number of QBs inside the space etc. all make a big difference to but I ended up with an efficiency of just over 1.4g/w and I had some hiccups with the plants I was running and some strains were poor yielders (one yielded a mere 7g dry, my best yielding strains were 140g dry per plant) in comparison to the others. So it could have been improved upon very easily by running better plants and filling the space (one was a male, and another was very small but couldn't put off flowering for one more plant). Perhaps I will repeat the test when I do another grow - see what I can achieve with 60W per QB (half power) and will post up the results... but this will be in a good few months unfortunately.1 point

I have not use the product, but I see it being marketed in the hydroshops. Any microbial inoculant would be beneficial to any system (hydro or organic). What they don't tell you is that a little can go a long way. I use 3ml of my Microbial inoculant and brew it with molasses for 36 to 48 hours at 22 degrees and use it on my whole garden.1 point

The three harvested plants.. one was very very low.. the corner plant beside the duct didnt really got a lot of light. I also didn't expect them to get that tall.. 6 would have been better for this size tent.. but, was a first time grow.. will do them again. ^^ Video week 12, I took em end week 12.. wasn't really 50% but I had a bit enough of the waiting hehehe plant was 8-10 weeks after Royal Queen Seeds.. might have taken 13 to get them 50/50 all 8 hanging, the first three harvested are on the right.. middle of the three is the smallest yielder (25g dry), the other two reached 58g each (i always round down) 141 grams so far Made a pic when I trimmed the leaves of one of the big ones1 point
