Just adding an update of what the ladies look like, they're Lst and I feed them once a week, with half of the recommended dose (not sure whether to increase or not?) But here they are, looking good and a vibrant green. Does it make a problem as I have T5 lights in the cupboard but scared they aren't Voight enough so during the day I take them outside into direct sunlight for a few hours... Will that be ok?5 points

Aweh fellow Greenfingers. Our winter outdoor grow is going well, ladies are short but the terpenes are sweet. 1-3. ''Chololate Gorilla'' lady doing her thing. 5. Swazi gold bagseed starting to fill out nicely. 6. Purple Stilton showing some pom poms. 7. Lemonchello also starting with flower. 8-9. Pregnant Purple haze x Pineapple express dubbed ''Purple pineapple'' lady. Her awesome colours inspired some pollination. Harvested about a 100 beans so far and probably 100 more to go. 10. 1st of the Purple Pineapple progeny. 11. Got gifted a bag of beautifull EWC from @420sake and his missus on our recent visit. Putting it to good use. Got some Yellow maize germing on my media player for SST for the flowering girls. Acquired a drum of molasses from the farmers co-op, R120/25kg(not paying 40 bucks for 500ml anymore.) Soil is cooking in the corner for the summer grow. Cheers.5 points

I did put my outdoor germination stage and early veg plants on the roof. my ridgeback looooves weed. I dont mind when he eats the lower leaves once tall plants. But on the youngsters... is not even one bite and gone The fun story is how he got into weed was about 6 years ago, he was a bit over 1 year old. Had access to some really great pineapple express. I got me 20g and smoked about 1 joint a day... at least that was the idea. I left the bag outside on the table, went shopping. Friend was living in the granny flat at the time, when he came home, short after i left, he found to his surprise weed buds laying all around the pool area. Picked up what he found and put it on my table. When i came home, he intercepted me right away. Not that you think i took your stash, bru, found it like that by the pool. Jack, my dog, was hiding below the table.. they aways know when they caused kack below the table was also the ripped bag... and some more buds. We had a good giggle... took the scale out... with what i smoked, we looked very very good if we find mord buds... he ate about 9g. Hour later i found him stretched in the sun. No reaction what so ever. After 6 hours he made it to the kitchen, stayed there on the carpet for another 4 hours and started to move again. if you now think that he would avoid eating buds... nope... if i offer him one, he eats it. But he also never ever took a bag off the table anymore4 points

Well well... I was beginning to stress but I have soil movement on 3 pots and one little one showed face... Here we go... @Bay Seeds seems as if the test is on its way.. Some colder weather forecast for the next few days so the babies will stay indoors to ensure they don't get stunted.. I will be moving them to a greenhouse soon.3 points

Start fertilizing depending what the producer of the product tells you. They usually stay very much on the safe side. Always observe your plants, they tell you, if something isnt right. Not all strains react same to nutrition concentration. In general the breeders write a note to the strain, if it likes a lot or you better be careful. Always start slow, the plants grow exponentially fast. Depending to that you increase fertilizer amount and as they drink more and more, they consume more over time. With autos you have to watch when they go Pre, so you can change what you feed. Photos you swap the light duration and change the nutes feed, bit easier. Putting your plants outside to get more light, works. Every time i stick the quantum flux meter into the sun, last was around 1400 two weeks ago... i measure around 2200 mmol on a blue sky.. hehehe cant beat the sun. But comes with one issue... not all strains like to get moved. Most you can easy move once, twice during the flower cycle. But some really do not like to get moved daily. If you see that your plants dont really grow faster outside... or even stop. Leave them stationary... if they grow very nice.. your work will get rewarded.3 points

Thank you my friend, I'd like to say the smell, and soon taste, will be partly due to the dry of 14days low and slow. Made me realize how you can spend 3 months or more growing it perfect, and then dry it wrong and miss all the goodness2 points

So this is what my current feminized run looks like. Plants between 3 and 5 weeks of flower. I have 3 different chocolope NL phenos, and Chocolope NL #1 is the pollen donor, her one branch was treated and the other left untreated with STS. Then there is an OKC, Slurricane, And Green Crack. Pollination has started. ...1 point

Hi everyone. First grow, a lot to learn. Planted three bag seed Durban Poison seeds, and one Gorilla Glue from CB Seeds. Planted them in the garage, made a small space available that will be extended later on. Had no heating source, so the little guys were severely stunted early on due to cold. Soil used - Freedom Farms. Lighting is a King Led 1000 watt. Reflective Material is a panel with emergency blanket glued on, and an emergency blanket glued to the wall. Going to close the other sides later on. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Pics below, please comment on plant health. I have not used any nutrients yet, planning to use Biobizz Grow when the plants are a bit bigger, and Bloom later on. Will the early cold and stunting cause hermies? Diary. Glass 29 July 2020. Paper Towel 31 July 2020. Started Germinating 02 August 2020. Prepped soil 02 August 2020. Planted in soil 04 August 2020. Planted Gorilla Glue but damaged the taproot. Lesson learned. Switched light on 04 August 2020. 24 hour cycle. First two breaks soil, both Durban Poison 09 August 2020. Gorilla Glue with broken taproot breaks soil 11 August 2020. Still on 24 hour cycle. Changed to 18/6 12 August 2020. Fourth one breaks soil. Durban Poison 13 August 2020. Pictures are from today 25 August. Plants only starting to put on some weight now due to warmer weather.1 point

Will grow a selection of the F1 gen of the Purple Pines to check germing rates and vigour. The first beans germed on the plant due to wet rainy weather. They still very fresh - will dry/cure the beans for a 2/3 weeks to negate the effect of the blocking enzymes. Don't mind sharing a selected amount of beans to interested forum members. The name was just too long..... the shorter version has a nice ring to it.1 point

The sun is the best bro. No light compares. So the more u can give them some. The better. As Prom mentioned with regards to constant moving. Try and be as gentle as possible. Try not to send any vibrations on the roots. With regards ti Nutez. Ur babies are quite large. So the full dose of nutez wont be a problem. Go for it brother. But all in all. Ur grow is looking lush and healthy. Good job.1 point

Whahahaha, brother my cats obliterate my plants if I leave the door open, my one cat will creep in behind me, hide under the table or something, and then I'll come back and she has eaten half the leaves off my babies1 point

To me, it appears he is watering only at the stem, and some roots are probably bone dry on the edges of the pot. An observation only... Welcome brother ✌1 point

Been thinking about a waterlogged situation at the bottom of the mound with my soil being a bit on the clayish side. To try avoid this i dug to ground level, added a good amount of perlite, perhaps 20 or 30 liters worth. I tilled this over before adding back the soil that was removed from the top heap.1 point

Looking good @Prom. They looking good for a no effort grow.1 point

Yebo - strue. Just carved 16 strains into a trail result and oiled all the produce. At least its fun to do and test aswell! The results were good, but varied enough to justify individual testing per solid pheno. New to this and I am doing it again!1 point

Aweh, Hope the fellow outdoor growers are getting their soil preps sorted. Mine's been cooking for a while and amendments went in, compost is being sifted and many batches of AACT innoculations have been administered. Managed to do some research into SST(seed sprout tea) and decided to give it a go as the science is solid from numerous sources. Settled on mungbean for veg and corn for flower, ladies got their first taste of the new tea today. Reaction from the ladies is positive so far, will keep an eye. Both the Pineapple express and Fruitpunch ladies are bearing seed after manual pollination. Especially excited for the Purple PE pheno. Cheers1 point
