So things have tapered off a bit with the current grow, but the new trains I am runing is still fire. Especially the Ghost Train Haze. Hands down the best plant I've grown. The blunicorn reminds me of the Spumoni. Similar bud structure and colours. Last pic is the critical x banner from GSRseeds.6 points

What's up fam. So I got a bunch of seeds from what is supposedly DP. My mate got some bud from his neighbor who said that he got it from his aunt. She has cancer and grows her own stuff. The bud was full of seeds, and I didn't expect much from it... 2 bongs later I would realise that this outdoor gave me a head buzz like some less potent indoor strains I've smoked in the past. Like, the bud looked terrible, but the high was so surprising. I'm not so sure that I have the space or sufficient knowledge to effectively grow, breed and stabilise this strain, so I'm willing to send out just over half of the seeds to whoever is interested. If you could end up feminizing it, that would be amazing. I wanted to give the guy some seeds back to give his aunt, or maybe some bud as well. I've picked out the best looking seeds from the bunch and I'd like to develop this strain. @Totemic @420SA @1000Hills Nursery I remember seeing a Landrace Sativa appreciation thread on 420sa somewhere, maybe some of those guys would be interested... If you have a link to the thread, please drop it here... I'll go over there and fill them in. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk2 points

HI there everyone, I've done a few illegal outdoor and a few illegal indoor grows with moderate success -=text removed=-. I have been frantically buying all the required items for my first legal indoor grow. 240 quantum board lamp, 1m x 1m tent, ducting inline fan and few other items. I will be running 4 autos for the first grow, purely to dial the tent in and get a feel for growing in such a confined space. In the past the indoor grows I've done have been in the spare bedroom using a 400 MH/HPS lamp i bought at ACDC express(LOL!!) Thanks for having me, I look forward to spending the time to read the past posts. Felix2 points

Okay, so according to the guy, his aunts been growing it for years and it's a proper DP.. Even if it isn't pure or has become some sort of hybrid between generations of DP, I think it may be worth saving. Still working in getting the pictures for you guys. Welcome. Not sure I have a favorite, although what I personally look for in a strain which I want to grow is the following: Frosty AF - the more frost the better, if I could run my finger over it and end up with trichomes all over my finger that would make me happy. I want the frost to be like icing on a cupcake. Yield - needs to be good yield, 80g from a plant but preferably over 100g per plant. Obviously yield is hard to judge, although I base it on the rest of my plants which are grown in the same environment and with the same training and light etc. Potency - needs to hit me like a train. Pointless if it looks nice, but I need to smoke 2 bowls to get me baked. Terps - lemon is boring, something nice and exciting and preferably something which does not taste like cardboard. Flower duration - around 10 week is acceptable. When it starts getting to 12 weeks+ it becomes a bit tedious. Must be stable, no weird mutations which do not work in my favour Phenotypes should be limited preferably, soo much pollen chucking at the moment. Would love to get seeds with limited phenos. I do not care which strains were bred to get the above, if its fire it is fire. Strain names, especially the common shit is overrated as more than half the stuff on the market is not what they claim it to be. It's not bred from the cut which made it popular.2 points

Sup guys. Has anyone here heard of and/or dabbled in gardening by the different phases of the moon? Just wanted to hear your thoughts and experiences and learn if there's any truth behind this or if it's just superstition. Peace...1 point

Hi All, I have posted in the new joiner but as I'm entering the harvest period I will need some guidance on timing. I planted in winter indoors so flowers are looking really good now but have no clue what week I'm in. It looks like the trichomes are still clear and not ready but not sure when I should stop supporting with 3 part nutrition. From what I have seen I should stop this 2 weeks before harvest and also decrease watering as I get closer to the big day. I have some pics but aware its difficult to make a call on this from the pics. For now I need some guidance on when to stop the 3 part nutrients and should I continue with earthworm compost until harvest or allow the flowers to soak up everything from the plant? It looks like they might even be trying to reveg.. How much light are they getting, and what are the strains?1 point

I do not see much bud at all, mostly leaves. I reckon you still have a while to go, you will ultimately need to get a microscope / loupe to check the trichomes and then base your decision as to when to harvest based on that. It will start off clear, then turn milk and then eventually turn an amber / orange colour. If you want to flush, you can start flushing when you see a bit of amber coming through. You will then gain a bit of insight and experience and next time can try a different amber ratio and see what you prefer.1 point

These babies are booming. Did a watering today. And toped up the soil in the grey pots. Was abit low. . . Didnt have enough at time of potting and soils settled abit more. Seems like they enjoyed their first night in the new atmosphere. Temps sticky around the 23-26 mark. Humidity between the 40 and 60 range.1 point

Eeeeeey guys been kaaaak busy with a really exciting venture that I hopefully will soon reveal. As for this grow, everything is smooth sailing. Probably why I haven't really had much to say, literally just waiting for more development from the buds Just been taking a couple leaves off everyday just to open up the colas as much as possible. even from the bottom nugs I'll be getting some decent popcorn. The main colas on the big plants in the DWC are just getting bigger and bigger1 point

Hey thanks Man. I will be running some Fast buds gentics - Critical Jack, OG Kush, Amnesia Haze, as well as Dutch Passion - Colorado Cookies. I've never done autos, but I'm keen to see how they go. Will be germinating 1 seed at a time in 2-3 week intervals with the intention of creating a perpetual harvest. I'm not sure if that's going to work, guess I'll find out over the next 10-15 weeks.1 point

I said no, because I feel there is a lot to learn from starting with a inert medium. You really understand what it means to be middleman in that scenario, and it gives you a better picture of what the plants need. But definitely easier to grow in soil.1 point

Ok so I feel that my lights are at the optimum for the new tent. 525w in the middel and 120w on each side. The Slurricane is almost there one more week to 10days I guess. Starting to see some amber trics.1 point
