  1. Slowly working towards that harvest day opening the tent is an event every time now and the aromas are quite amazing. The Pink Mango Gelato has a very distinct and sweet smell with the resin producing a sharp vanilla smell on the fingers I'm super stoked on the progress. The outdoor baby is also looking classic. Not super huge buds but the shape of the whole plant I really like I feel like I had so much more to post about in the past and usually posted whenever I ran into snags, which were plenty and often, but now not so much

  2. Thought I'd update a bit on my 2 flux mainline flowering ladies. Shoutout to all the forum farmers that gave some input and for @TheUltimateNoob for the initial spark. Both ladies have exceptional quality with the Washing Machine growing like mad and some big bud development. Then on the other hand the peyote WiFi is building some tricome like mad. I am currently on day 53 since 12/12 flip. Washing machine Peyote WiFi

  3. Finally after a few minor logistical problems and you know, life, I am ready to embark on my second indoor grow journey courtesy of @Bay Seeds. Thanks bud. Grow setup: 6 x Glamberry from @Bay Seeds. 1m x 1m x 1.6m cabinet from @Wife's Shelving Unit's. She's still a bit peeved. 1 x QB75 bar from @growopz. 1 x 300w no name Chinese blurple, after investigation probably 100w gifted by a friend. Soil. 50/50 Just Cannabis and specially made soil for propagation mixed together, perlite, vermiculite and coir added. Soil into 10l pots, watered and left to dry out again. I'll be planting 3 now and the other 3 in 2-4 weeks time depending on the growth rate. I may have another light by then that above friend wants me to compare. He has a few on the way from China. Hey, if I can score a light I'm sure it will do as a veg light instead of CFLs Grow plan: I have rigged the lights so that I can put 2 plants under the QB75 and 1 plant under the blurple. I will be rotating the pots in their respective places so that the plants can benefit from the overlapping light. Then of course as much light as possible from the greatest light supplier out there, Mother Nature. I'm curious to see the difference in growth under the 2 lights. No two plants are the same and if they spending most of time outside, I don't know. 8/9/2020 07H30 - 3 Glamberry seeds into paper towel. 10/9/2020 Checked this morning round 6ish and 1 had a tail. What's the right terminology here bud's? 5pm all 3 were wagging their tails, seed #1 about 10mm. Can see myself naming these girls, gotta be optimistic guys. I'll be putting them into pots during the course of tomorrow at this rate. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

  4. Hey there bud's. I take the cardboard roll from toilet paper, snip to preferred size, compact wet coir into it then let it dry, put it into the soil of my final pot and pop a seed into it. I'm always looking for ways of saving cash that I don't have anyway. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

  7. One of the ladies in my stable. Beans were gifted by a local indoor grower. Pineapple Express pollinated by a Purple Haze male. Pheno hunted a bit through the selection and this lady and her fruity boyfriend caught the eye. Smoke report is good-(my new favorite). Very smooth and tasty smoke with a funky 'chemberry' tang. Clear, strong and energetic with typical sativa cerebral effect.

  8. Thanks for the update bro! Very impressive [emoji1376] couldn't have done it better. Do you think you would continue to use the method? And did you encounter any issues with the training? Also, hook us up with a link to your journal if you have one going. I'm not sure if I'm subbed or not, would be a nice read. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk

  10. @BluntKnife ideally you want your growing medium to get dryish after about 3 days when hand watering. Plants will use water at different rates depending on factors such as heat, wind, etc.

  12. @Fridgedoor Ok cool. I did stick to his light cycle, it was 24/7. But due to load shedding, it has got a 2 hour darkness session here and there. I will take some pics on the weekend and post it on a new thread Just a random question in regards to watering. How much water do you actually give your plants? I cant find an exact answer, which probably due to so many different factors. For example, would giving a new sprout of about 2 weeks old 250ml of water with or withou nutes, to little? Would a plant of that size need more? Then for a more fully developed plant (say between the 4 - 8 week life span) , would giving it like 2l of water with or without nutes be too much?

  13. Bit of a sensitive one this lady. She's the only one that got burnt tips from a similar feeding to all the others.

  16. @BluntKnife a very small plant could go a few days on 50ml - 100ml, depending on the growing medium, heat, etc. I would recommend u experiment, not sure how big ur plants are, but give em say 50ml (if they are small plants) and see how long it takes for it to dry to about the stem. Well rooted plants in a 10l pot can drink 1 to 2 liters every day or two, the bigger the plant the more they drink. Please bear in mind this will all vary greatly depending on your growing medium and external factors. Feeding with runoff also depends on your growing medium. Hope that helps a bit

  17. Thank you @Dank And in regards to how much water you should be giving each time you do water after about 3 days? Should I be making sure I add enough water to the soil from the edge of the pot across to the center? And should there be enough water each feeding to get run off out the bottom of these 30 and 40l pots or would that be giving too much? Sorry for so many questions, just really trying to understand the feeding a bit more as I am not sure if I am doing to much or to little right now

  18. Just letting you know, you are the only person I have chatted to who refers to skunk as low grade weed. I have traveled the world, listened and learnt. i am interested to know how you came your reference of skunk, never heard it before. Did you grow up on Cheese in CT? Skunk Strong Weed. Ridiculously strong. Usually grown outdoors. It is a guaranteed fucking-up. This is the kind of weed that leaves you sitting there giggling for twenty minutes, your legs numb, your mind completely bricked, and your hands so twitchy you keep spilling the bongwater all over the floor. And the difference between the slang terms chronic and skunk is chronic was quality indoors.

  19. Always referred to decent weed as skunk, its a term generically used for weed that has a skunky smell, jat has not much of a smell, so surprised its termed skunk anywhere. When i used to buy weed on the street, all skunk was reference to better than the usual which has a skunky smell. Maybe times have changed, but I dont think so, and the media refer to skunk as "potent weed". You from Cape Town? No worries, you not dissing the post, you asking questions. I think and also have proved it is a great deal, plus you get a cannabis cup winner fem seed that is not easily available. Take it, leave it, I just want the money to go to a good cause and see someone enjoy the book, possibly one of the most comprehensive books on breeding ever produced.

  20. Thanks for the advice guys, I ended up trying the plugs and the grow pod. Both sprouted fine. I also bought some of the netting jiffy pods you guys spoke about for future use.

  21. Beneficial or not? Nope. They are pests. Like aphids they suck the juices from your plants

  22. Shot for the clarity brother. Donations and charity causes are really great man, so props to you. And as for the seeds, as much as they may be decent breeding stock... It's just not the strains I'm personally looking to grow... I know you are a fan of the landraces, but I think you are starting a bit too far back for most new guys who are more interested in current genetics. Growing up I was introduced to jut weed. And among my group of friends, skunk weed was never a reference to good or great weed... Always referred to kak cheap skyf as skunk. Also, the skunk is very sativa and not entirely suitable for beginners in my opinion, unless you have a ton of outdoor space and privacy. The Afgan though, sounds good. Nice compact breeding projects for indoor. Im not tryna diss your post, it is a great initiative!! But even more honesty... Is peeps that are ready to learn how to breed would likely also have an idea of what they want to breed, possibly they even have the breeding plants to use. Peace and love bro

  26. Good to hear you got a new addition to your grow @BluntKnife. Perhaps the plants just got a bit stressed because of the move especially seeing it's an Autoflower. One of the members here (my stoned brain can't remember who) changed the light cycle and the plants got a bit confused. Did you stick to your buddy's light cycle? But yeah I agree with @Stinger96 start a new one and it will probably get môre attention.

  31. whats up yo! really and truly dont mean to bust your bubble.. but i can buy this exact book off amazon for 300 bucks give or take, the paper back one, and the seeds i dont think are great unless you have more info on them? what else could you include to make the deal sweeter? any other grow books you could include?

  32. Some of you guys might remember the daddy I chose last year, nicknamed "FruityPuke". This girl was selected from about 15 beans that got mixed up, mystery mom, FruityPuke male. The terps of this plant is a dirty berry, like diesel berry chem funk. She got the nickname FruityPoopz, a new potential mom in my stable, definitely going to make beans with her at the very least

  33. Okay, so according to the guy, his aunts been growing it for years and it's a proper DP.. Even if it isn't pure or has become some sort of hybrid between generations of DP, I think it may be worth saving. Still working in getting the pictures for you guys. 35. Hey buds. How does this strain hunting work. I'll be moving 34 DP, gave 4 away today, outdoors the next couple of days. Been thinking how do you make a mother plant, is it male or female, do you need both. If it is the real stuff I was given the seed came from a hydro grower, seed grown outdoor by a friend ( no experience, just a plant growing in the garden ), plant flowered and he gave me some smoke and seeds. I would like to look into this a bit more as I have the space and the DamDave moment seedlings. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

  37. Eeeeeey guys been kaaaak busy with a really exciting venture that I hopefully will soon reveal. As for this grow, everything is smooth sailing. Probably why I haven't really had much to say, literally just waiting for more development from the buds Just been taking a couple leaves off everyday just to open up the colas as much as possible. even from the bottom nugs I'll be getting some decent popcorn. The main colas on the big plants in the DWC are just getting bigger and bigger
