  3. Best not to use that pollen as the offspring have a higher chance of becoming a hermie too.

  4. 11/9/2020. Day 1. I'm gonna be using days instead of date from here going forward. 3 seeds into 10l pots and I put a dome over them. Not sure if this is the correct thing to do but I'll be monitoring them. Had to put the light off to take the cabinet pic, just in case you all think I got a regular light bulb in there. QB75 is 500mm above plant. Blurple is 400mm above plant. I'll have to figure out correct heights, open to suggestions here bud's. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

  5. Yes and yes... Some Strains seem to hermie even when all growing parameters have met. That to me qualifies for crappy variety for example. Also some varieties just don’t have a nice terpene profile no matter what you as a grower do. But I guess taste differs from person to person. But I think in most cases it's mostly up to the grower. It takes time to be able to 'read' your plants and each strain likes different things. Meeting your plants needs and growing with passion is getting the best out of your plants.

  6. That Ghost train haze looks tropical!

  7. Aah, I get you. Yeah I just try to make the most of my lights also, hence the training method... I found this way is the easiest and most rewarding for me. I agree with the strains reacting a bit differently, but the basics is all the same... The only issue I've had is when the strain has early staggered growth (not symmetrical)... Kind of messes up the training a bit but its still manageable. Will definitely be following your next grow. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk

  8. Without a doubt, lots of shit out there I feel. Although with that being said, what I look for in a strain may differ to what you look for. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  9. Shit I know this should probably go to the grow diary space but I just wanna share the rest of the ladies even though they didn't make the flux mainline cut while vegging under the 100w. They still followed the same topping and training schedule though. Gorilla Kim #1 Gorilla Kim #2

  10. Thought I'd update a bit on my 2 flux mainline flowering ladies. Shoutout to all the forum farmers that gave some input and for @TheUltimateNoob for the initial spark. Both ladies have exceptional quality with the Washing Machine growing like mad and some big bud development. Then on the other hand the peyote WiFi is building some tricome like mad. I am currently on day 53 since 12/12 flip. Washing machine Peyote WiFi

  11. So things have tapered off a bit with the current grow, but the new trains I am runing is still fire. Especially the Ghost Train Haze. Hands down the best plant I've grown. The blunicorn reminds me of the Spumoni. Similar bud structure and colours. Last pic is the critical x banner from GSRseeds.

  16. I've run into a couple of duds - multiple plants, same strain, same breeder - all different in growth and terpene profiles - one hermied in flower for no reason. Will never buy from them again. Schoolfees. If the genetics are weak or the breeder messed up somewhere, the grower can try his best and still end up with shite. But I must also add, some growers have greener fingers than others....and some should rather stay away from plants.

  21. They dont break the law for you. You declare value and content and are responsible for what you declare. You can go premium and pool parcels (up to 45 days storage) to save courier fees. Just with seeds, do not collect several parcels into one... they see seeds, they remove them. I just get another shipment of Serenade... so service works like a charm. I use bitcoin to pay them. You select what post service you want to use, they offer all options. If the seeds are stealth packed, just declare what item it is inside. Stealth packed seeds can also get pooled into one parcel. They dont see, they dont care.

  22. I just think skunk means something else to each person. I was gifted some 'cold' purple weed that was supposedly purple haze. My reaction to the smoke was that it's too skunky. I dont like the cat piss smelling terps of some strains. To me that is skunk. A funky yucky cat piss...

  26. Just letting you know, you are the only person I have chatted to who refers to skunk as low grade weed. I have traveled the world, listened and learnt. i am interested to know how you came your reference of skunk, never heard it before. Did you grow up on Cheese in CT? Skunk Strong Weed. Ridiculously strong. Usually grown outdoors. It is a guaranteed fucking-up. This is the kind of weed that leaves you sitting there giggling for twenty minutes, your legs numb, your mind completely bricked, and your hands so twitchy you keep spilling the bongwater all over the floor. And the difference between the slang terms chronic and skunk is chronic was quality indoors.

  27. Shot for the clarity brother. Donations and charity causes are really great man, so props to you. And as for the seeds, as much as they may be decent breeding stock... It's just not the strains I'm personally looking to grow... I know you are a fan of the landraces, but I think you are starting a bit too far back for most new guys who are more interested in current genetics. Growing up I was introduced to jut weed. And among my group of friends, skunk weed was never a reference to good or great weed... Always referred to kak cheap skyf as skunk. Also, the skunk is very sativa and not entirely suitable for beginners in my opinion, unless you have a ton of outdoor space and privacy. The Afgan though, sounds good. Nice compact breeding projects for indoor. Im not tryna diss your post, it is a great initiative!! But even more honesty... Is peeps that are ready to learn how to breed would likely also have an idea of what they want to breed, possibly they even have the breeding plants to use. Peace and love bro

  28. One of the ladies in my stable. Beans were gifted by a local indoor grower. Pineapple Express pollinated by a Purple Haze male. Pheno hunted a bit through the selection and this lady and her fruity boyfriend caught the eye. Smoke report is good-(my new favorite). Very smooth and tasty smoke with a funky 'chemberry' tang. Clear, strong and energetic with typical sativa cerebral effect.

  29. Added some chopped up branches and woodchips around the side of the raised bed. This is mostly to help promote good fungal activity in the soil as the wood breaks down over time. It also helps to minimize evaporation. I added some well aged leaf compost again and tilled it over. I will keep the soil covered with cardboard from now on to maximize microbial activity.

  30. Some of you guys might remember the daddy I chose last year, nicknamed "FruityPuke". This girl was selected from about 15 beans that got mixed up, mystery mom, FruityPuke male. The terps of this plant is a dirty berry, like diesel berry chem funk. She got the nickname FruityPoopz, a new potential mom in my stable, definitely going to make beans with her at the very least

I just try look after her cause she is pretty loud. How is the flavor profile on the Ethos selection. This particular cut is gassy and sweet, quite complex, best description i heard was, like rum a d raisen icecream.

  43. Just need to give some recognition where it's overdue . I've come across alot of growers who can talk the talk... And just 1 who walks the walk... He's the real OG and the best part is he is humble as fk. Thanks bro for sharing your experience with me and many others... Thank you for liking everyone's content regardless of it being one little stunted plant in a tent to a room full of fire. Guys... How's about a 'like' for @Dank
