Haven't spotted any more nanners I took a couple more pics tonight to check out the trichomes again. These were the clearest out of all the pics. Couple ambers here and there I rate. I think I will at the very least be taking these girls to the end of this month. Pink Mango Gelato Skywalker OG9 points

Mine is turning out quite okay, a bit bigger than I anticipated but it gives me some nice ideas for smaller spaces Maybe test your runoff bro... The curled leaves look to be indicative of a slight pH problem... I could be mistaken, but just check.7 points

I harvested the one outdoor Skywalker OG today. I discovered aphids doing their thing on some of the bottom buds. Luckily I had already let the medium dry out and had completed a 48 hour dark cycle as I was planning on harvesting it today anyways. Performed ye olde bud wash for the first time. Didn't feel to weird to do, especially knowing those aphids were about to eat schit.6 points

7 weeks in and we slowly nearing the last dash to bulk up hopefully. Girls are happy and the OKC is doing above my expectations. Feeding has been some Microbes, Fire Juice, K-POW and BIO-PHOS with rainwater in between. I'm feeding the above because it's the second grow I'm doing in this soil and don't want to find out girls was maybe missing some nutes. The feedings ain't that expensive when using minimal quantities anyway. Think il feed like this I'll mid week 8 and then they can look for what they need at the end and clean themselves up from the inside. Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk4 points

What Gromies. Updates for you fine people. So im just gona call the whole grow by 1 date. Day 31 Start week 6. Started with 3 bag seeds. Scrapped 1(looked abit sickly. Wasnt worth the time, effort, energy, nutez for a bag seed) So 2 left. 1 that i topped - pic 1 and 2 1 that i let grow - pic 3 and 4 I have them outside currently. Trying to check on the sex. With the purple sunsets. Purple Sunset 3 - LST and defoil - yet to go into pre flower. I hope i didnt stunt her. - pic 5 and 6 Purple Sunset 2 - no training, just defoil twice. This pheno is a stretchy 1. This is a tall girl. - pic 7 and 8 Purple Sunset 1 - no training. Just defoil twice. This pheno is a short little lady. Not much stretch. Pic 9 and 10 The autos have been getting 24 hours of light. With some full sun days here and there. The bag seeds about 9 hours of sun, but trying to check sex there. Still sticking with my bio bizz nutez Grow. Bloom. Topmax. And Seagrow. 100% strength from end of week 2. Pic 11 group Purple Sunset shot. Side Note. None showing any signs of Purple.3 points

@Bakstein420 @afternoon blazer Thank you guys [emoji1374]... If I could figure out how to get symmetrical clones (mostly the main stem) to root successfully, maybe I'll run 4 of them in solo cups and top them once to create 4 mains, veg for a few days and then flower. Been a while guys , so I realized my MH bulb was long gone and that’s what what causing so much stretching so I put in the HPS bulb I had which is new, I was originally doing a flux style mainline but had both a stem snap on the master kush and GSC and was too late to save them , so I’m now doing nugbuckets style which unfortunately adds about 2 more weeks of veg White widow Master kush GSC Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

It's pretty dope. But that tall Indian guy, Nolan or something... Just be wary... He's relatively new there and just out to look for lucks bra... He seems like one of the owners friends and doesn't really fit the criteria to work there... He isn't a people's person and can be intimidating in a way. Everyone else that works there was super chilled... Its a nice vibe and the place itself looks dope... Music playing, pool table upstairs, bongs to borrow, a dab bar and munchies available. Nolan is more of the "old school" types, might have been a dealer at some point - he has that vibe. I just didn't appreciate when he started hinting that he wanted to open an alcoholic bar on the upper floor - because that's not what a smoke lounge is about... Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a drink from time to time, but it doesn't belong at a weed lounge... That place had a lot of potential in my eyes before he came there. If you're gonna go there, get the indoor... Greenhouse is kinda overpriced and you will get ripped off for outdoor - so just stay away from it. I had the guy I mentioned try to sell me some shit outdoor for 60/g, and their indoor started from 130 if I'm not mistaken... Not the best prices, but the experience is worth it. Go with a few people if you're unsure, it'll help it feel more comfortable. I wouldn't go there again if that ass is working there - it's a personal thing... But if he's off, that's my go-to spot. If Ayanda is still working there, get to know him... He's a great guy [emoji1362] Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk2 points

Definitely! Hoping to get way more yield than last time although I haven't come close to fully utilising the full space of the tent. This will be the next grow's goal. Frostiest I've had ever so far might be getting a hold of this whole growing thing2 points

There is a 150w LED from ACDC that works very well for plants in veg. @CreX has mentioned it a few times before and it is very affordable as well.2 points

A dehumidifier solved my problems and i haven't seen any PM in about a year now so i never tried hydroliq. Apparently the Americans found a cure for PM they call it a LAB solution. Have a look at this video apparently this solution eats PM and takes it away very quickly again i haven't tried it as i haven't had any PM recently2 points

This is how my solo cup grow is going. Nothing Flowering yet which I'm abit concerned because it's an auto but she's very bushy. I did abit of LST the canapy is fairly equal.2 points

What up good people. So update time. About day 74. Harvested last night. After 48 hours of darkness. No water last 3 days and a 7 day flush. Didnt have a scale. So didnt way it up. But trimed up and drying now. I got an extraction fan that i can install. But dont think i need it just yet. I will weigh it after drying though.2 points

@PapaSpliff overwatering plants do cause leaves to droop, but usually you can feel the stems (of the leaf) are firm and full of water. With underwatering the leaves will also droop, but stems will be dried out and leaves without much moisture. Glad she is doing better, happy growing, @CreX ftw ekse2 points

Yeh 100%, well said, i forgot to add that the market for Autos was created under the 24/0 schedule back in the day. (That was the main hype) As soon as it can veg at 24/0 hours there will be growers in the market saying its not a Auto. Any Fastbuds strain can be grown at 24/0 without issues, in my mind that is a Auto.2 points

Hi, as some of you might know I am an outdoor grower. However I am thinking of getting some genetics that are more expensive than the seeds I usually grow. Now if this plant turns out to be a keeper, I'd like to make it my first motherplant. This in turn will make a little indoor setup necessary to bring it savely through winter. I look for a suggestion regarding the light I would need. It should be low in energy consumption and the light itself shouldn't cost too much as my budget is a bit tight. My goal is to be able to clone it, give these clones to the community and of course also being able to grow it next season. I look forward to your suggestions.1 point

Wouldn't a lux meter be an instrument to check whether a bulb needs to be replaced? Might be wrong about it but I think I remember I read it somewhere.1 point

I do 1ml BioBizz Fish Mix per liter at the moment I just top dressed this morning with worm castings and Calcium Magnesium Nitrate1 point

This will be easier if you are only using a single method of growing (for example, just using coco instead of a mix of coco, soil & DWC).1 point

hey brother .... honestly its a decent plant it is as advertised the big thing she got going for her is yield, probably one of the better yielding autos, all seeds germed there was some weird ass leaf mutations in the 1st 2 weeks made me not top her it kinda just out grew the mutations, all made it to harvest, its a extremely sweet smelling plant low on dankness but her potency is good to average ( i got extremely high tolerance )i think autos in general still lack potency compared to photo periods ,i probably wont grow her again (maybe for myself i like the light sweet smoke) only reason being my patients require that kosher kush no matter what i grow its all everybody wants since 2012, the girl in the pics was a late bloomer last one i had, been flushing her this week ill harvest her this Saturday and upload more pics of her post harvest and once cured. this was the 5th victory seeds strain ive grown not bad overall probably give their auto genetics a 6/10 i got a ton of other fun stuff in my stable ill be sure to share more as i go hope everyone had a good day off1 point

I actually made my own mix with soil and coco as I find coco on its own dries out way quicker. So I feed some nutes and have slow release pellets in the mix for when I just water.1 point

What's your nutrient feed looking like at the moment? They looking a little deficient on the Calcium/Magnesium side, but otherwise I rate they look pretty healthy.1 point

yea, that link @swumsent has some pretty interesting arguments full of words like "Semi-Auto" and "fast" "crappy genetics" and it would seem that not alot of info is out there about them. but they seem to have a place, or at least they are gaining popularity. i mean, i would love a fast auto flowering high yielding plant ... but in the same breath, i can get a Fast photo flowering high yielding plant instead1 point

Any auto can reveg under the right conditions. Not flushing out all the nutrients during the last weeks of flowering leaving the plant weak. Not harvesting the buds but only carefully picking out the seeds.1 point
-
yea i get that you are talking about Auto trait. and depending which trait is dominant is the way the offspring will turn out. If the Auto gene is dominant over the photo gene you could experience 75% auto and 25% photo in F1, from there you select the best male that flowers under 24h and the best female that flowers under 24h, mix em , and if you chose the right autos with the dominant gene and not recessive gene, then your ratio could improve to something like 93% auto and 7% photo in F2. so you are right in saying you would need to get to atleast F3 before you could reach your 99% Auto outcome. i was just disputing crossing a photo and auto result in only photo offspring1 point
-
@swum, not necessarily, even F2 reg Auto seeds will be subject to different phenotypes. it also depends on so much. was it an auto male that you pollinated a photo fem? or was it a photo male that pollinated an auto fem? depending which of the plants has the most dominant traits will depend on what traits the offspring gravitate towards. and what you are referring to is called Hybrid Vigor... most bagseed tend to express rapid healthy growth and are known to have this vigor. well bred plants from reputable breeders also exhibit this trait, but it does not often express itself in later generations starting from F3. successful back crossing with the original parents can often bring back this trait in your offspring.1 point
