i never had issues with PM before, but since i grow in the Cape region indoor, Serenade saved my ass till now. The main issue is, if you have it, something in your system is wrong! HEPA filters will help, but at the end the solution is more simple in my opinion. My life got a lot easier, as soon as i increased the tent ventilation a lot. Opening the tent and walk inside will bring spores with, if you like it or not. If they hit the wrong climate, nothing will happen. In general, your enemy is the dark time. The drop in temp will lead to a release of moisture. Warmer air can hold more water. Temp drops, water gets released. If you shut down the light, you must increase ventilation or switch on a wall plug heater to compensate. Keep it between 50 to 60% Max humidity and you will never see the white spots again. PM hates fresh air... vent that tent! As good as copper soap keeps it at bay, you cant use it during flower... strict no go! Serenade Graden Disease Control is your best shot, leaves zero taste on the smoke, if used while your plants are green, dont use it on dry buds! If you have a nasty PM issue, spray several times a day to a run off and let them dry down in between. 2 days and your plants are squeaky clean. Hang to dry. Cheap version to wash would be a simple bicarb of soda (every supermarket has it) wash. 2g per liter water and a pure water rinse. If it is in your buds... only serenade will clean it, hard to wash the inside. Get it wet, the bacterias will eat, your job is to get it wet. i never did a serenade wash.. the stuff costs but spray works just fine. Dont worry, open those buds. Only option is the compost heap, you dont want to inhale fungi. Hope it helped sonebody with the issue.. first.. dont look for serenade (import only so far), increase the air flow in and out of your tent! Helps a lot already, then go from there..3 points

i ordered the Charlottes Web CBD seeds (10) from Canada. They added freebies, 5 pineapple express and 3 weddingcake. I declared the seeds on the shipping manifest. The parcel was for over a month with customs... and got it today... seeds and everything inside the parcel. The THC seeds were free, so not sure this made the change.3 points

The hydro is jarred, coming in at a cool 171g The buds are kinda airy though, many many popcorn buds too. This also happened with the last Green Smoke Room Seeds strain I grew. I won't be buying into their genetics again. That brings the total harvest to 285g Definitely the most I've ever yielded in one grow, but also pretty min considering the space and power used. I think it's an easy one to beat and I'll be attempting that in the next grow.3 points

Eish, kak one but atleast you caught him/her.....*uhm* it, But might be a little bit late bud, looks like the bigger sacs have began opening judging by that second pic, hopefully you plukked it in time, once they start growing ballas you got like 2/3 days to spot it otherwise he's gonna bust a nut like a laaitie catching a pomp for the first time If your ladies do get pollinated don't plant the seeds, as any plants grown from those seeds will almost exclusively be hermies2 points

Generally its always cheaper to do something yourself. You pay for the convenience. Want to service your car, the parts are only part of the cost. The labour is the rest and if you're doing it at the stealerships they charge a hefty price per hour. Same applies to food, growing it yourself is a fraction of the cost to buying it in the shops. Coco is no different. Hydrating the coco, washing it and buffering it and mixing it with perlite is quite a mission and a hassle for sure. So naturally buying it ready in a bag will come at a premium price. As for it being less than R70, depends where you are sourcing it all from but a 5KG brick expands to around 60L roughly and those sell for over R70 for a decent quality brick. Plus you gotta mix in some perlite. So overall you could get what's in the bag for less, but I do feel it the raw materials would cost you more - unless of course you are bringing it into SA in bulk yourself. The pricing on the coco and perlite is similar to the pricing on the soil people sell. R180 for 30L of soil vs R350 for 60L of coco & perlite, which works out to R175 for 30L of coco & perlite. When you think about it, soil is dirt and some amendments.2 points

Thought I would add a quick update. With regards to the 50w LED floodlights that I’ve used, they work great! I’ve added an extra one at the top, that’s 250w of LED lights in a 1.2mx0.6m tent. I’ve moved the propagation box out and thought I’d just leave it close to a window in the house. The more space in the tent the better. The following plants are in the tent. WASHING MACHINE - a mother plant on the top row producing mass amounts of nodes. 16 currently waiting to be cloned. The 9 bottom right in 5l pots have been vegging in 12cm pots for the last month or so. They were transplanted into their final pots at the time of photo. The 10 in 12cm pots up top have been potted from rooting in jiffy’s at the time of the photo. NORTHERN LIGHTS - 2 plants to the left in 5l pots. The one is struggling from a potassium deficiency and the other recovering slowly from LST. Hopefully one can be a mother. JOCK HORROR - looking perky in the bottom left in a 5l. Possible mother and seems to be doing good. Dense node stacking. PEACH CRESCENDO - on the top rack in a 12cm pot being LST trained with 3 tie-downs. This will become a mother and I will run future cycles with clones from her. GORILLA KIM - still very young vegging in a 12cm pot far right on top CreX 1000Hills Nursery afternoon blazer Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk1 point

I see it has been extended to 9 October and I believe it HAS to be sent to cannabisbill@parliament.gov.za only. So anyone who has sent an email to vramaano@parliament.gov.za will need to resend it to cannabisbill@parliament.gov.za No more bounce back from the cannabisbill email address.1 point

I still see a couple clear. I would wait until all are cloudy or until the trichomes on the sugar leaves start turning amber.1 point
