Was lucky enough to arrange a small batch of clones from @SkunkPharm Many thanks for hooking me up with the superior AAA+ genetics --- I'm incredibly grateful!! Have prepped & labeled the pots, will be collecting clones shortly, after which I'll upload images This grow diary will be documenting the following 3 strains gifted to me by @SkunkPharm 1x - Alien Tarantula (Obsol33t Genetics) 1x - Orange Cake Kush (Ethos) 1x - Slurricane (In-House Genetics) Super excited to grow these ultra dank strains - #My3Wives9 points

Ok so here's the retake on my fem run for the year. A bit of a switch in genetics. I'm doing a reversal on a chocolate gelato female. Blunicorn, slurricane, chocolate gelato females. All reveg clones that are just about done revegging. Going to let these girls get to a nice size, as they are only 4 that are going to move into flowering in a month or so.5 points

The light you have them under plays a role too I believe, going from decent light to sun isn't a problem. Going for poor lights to sun can be, or so I've heard. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk2 points

@Totemic Yip they most definitely will be getting extra light at night - which reminds me I need to replace all my CFL's for ones with higher wattage (using 2x sometimes 3x 11w cool daylight bulbs wired in parralel) While I obviously know these 2x/3x 11w's don't do much (if anything) for growing, with regards to preventing flowerimg they definately seem to do the trick I've read 1x 42w is better than running 4x 11w's - but wouldn't using 4x bulbs (11w) setup with 3x bulbs around sides of plant at 12:00, 16:00 & 20:00 provide more light than 1x 42w shining from top only? Any insights - read a lot of conflicting information - I understand the 42w penetrates further (more lumens at further distance) but wouldnt setting up smaller bulbs around the circumference of plant cancel this out?2 points

I got 5 more seeds. I'm obviously hoping this one works out, but hopefully I will at least be able to identify some specific things to change next time round if it doesn't. I'm still waiting for it to sprout, but I will be sure to start uploading some picks as soon as there is something to look at.2 points

A little update as the girls are in full flower and had to move them to the grow space as they started to stink up the room. The ak48 is interesting as there is not a lot of pistols on the buds The white widow is smelling really yummy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Looks like a female straight onto training. How far along not sure not keeping track but planning on potting up to 40L soon and putting her in a partial greenhouse space I managed to put together. Also planning on working with this potted soil throughout the season. So let’s see how the first plant does...2 points

Hey Fellow Growers, I've started a new grow recently and I'll be posted updates here. 2x Quarter Pounder Autos (3 day germination, planted 4/10/2020) 1x Slurricane clone (Not sure about the age) Not yet added: 2x Do-si-dos photoperiod (I'll germinate these when the autos go into flower so that I can flip them after I harvest the autos) Lighting - 130 watt LED quantum board 3500k from @growopz . I'll add my QB75 when they start to flower. Medium - Orgasoilux organic living earth blend. Nutes - Biobizz grow, seagro, molasses, biobizz bloom.1 point

I just planted a fastbuds blackberry seed in a 20l Freedom Pot. This will be my first grow. I have access to both compost and worm castings so I decided to just try make my own soil from the get go. I went for a mixture of compost (there were definitely worms in the compost)and a half cup of worm castings for the bottom third of the pot, then I mixed compost and garden soil for about half the volume of the pot and I topped it off with 2 cm of sifted garden soil for the seedling to grow in. I dropped the seed in water over night and planted it as soon as the seed cracked. I've given it half a cup of water (the soil was still a bit moist) now I am just waiting for it to sprout. Temperatures at night is seldom less than 15 degrees and I bring it inside in the evening anyway. During the day (25 degrees today) I have it standing out in the sun in the morning. I'm hoping my soil isn't too rich for the young auto. I'll post some photo's if/when it sprouts.1 point

Runing a fresh batch of bag seed in a 90 litre tub - planted around the beginning of August As per usual whenever I plant bag seed, I plant a bunch of seeds and pick out the best specimens of the bunch which ill transplant into seperate pots once im able to sex them/they begin pre-flowering Surprisingly ended up with a unique phenotype that turned purple roughly 2/3 weeks into flowering (then started revegging - have since transplanted to new pot) Roughly a week ago I started getting yellowing of the leaves and on some leaves the veins were remaining green, (1st pic) first treated nitrogen deficiency then treated yesterday with Epsom salts for magnesium deficiency - nitrogen seems to have helped however I'm still waiting for the Mag to kick in Yesterday after treating with Epsom salts (1 packet/14g --- 1 gallon/4lt) Also found & removed 3x males1 point

Good morning fellow growers, I was hoping that who ever reads this could be so kind as to follow the link and complete a survey that could assist hugely in possibly repairing and remodeling the current draft bill into something more favorable to the community as a whole. Fields of green for all need 5000 completed surveys to bring forward to support the fact that the bill needs a more inclusive model that does not criminalize consumers and growers alike. Please note your personal information is protected under the POPI Act Your help would be highly appreciated and beneficial to us all. The South African Cannabis Survey of Users and Growers Fields of Green for ALL have partnered with the Social Surveys Institute to help understand the South African Cannabis industry in its current form. Please have your say by taking a few minutes to complete this survey. https://fieldsofgreenforall.org.za/the-south-african-cannabis-survey/ #CannabisCanHelpSouthAfrica #noplantcounting #fieldsofgreenforall #trialoftheplant2 #cannabiseducation #OvercomingChallenges #CannabisCanHelpSA #FullSpectrumModel #DaggaKanSAHelp #DaggaCanHelpSA #DaggaCanHelpSouthAfrica #IAmNotACriminal #GoodPeopleDisobeyBadLaws #StopTheCops #KnowYourFarmer #legalcannabisinsouthafrica #cannabisgrowerssouthafrica #cannabiscommunity #igersjozi #igerscapetown #PeoplesPlantLobby #cannabisclub #cannabisclubsouthafrica #daggaclubs #daggaclub #FilmThePoliceMzansi1 point

Hey bud. If you haven't got rooting hormone try using the sap from an aloe plant. There you have it, another use for this super plant. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk1 point

Today was the day for the first topping of the mainline run. Very sad to see bushy plants stripped to the bone all for the sake of some thick and dense ass nugs.. but nevertheless the growth rate of the ladies will see them recover in no time. Definitely the two front runners for aggressive growth and super tight node structure would be Glookies and Upper Cut. Some of the cuttings were treated with rooting powder and fixed in peat pellets to supply a mate with some clones for a run. One positive of the mainline exercise is the intense amount of clone cuttings one can take while shaping the mainline. On the negative though I feel you do lose veg time as the ladies have to recover and bulk back up before the next topping and trimming hits. Only the late entrant, Chocolate Haze, was spared for this exercise Before After1 point

@zolrooker They had a big shock when i transfered them to soil. Still stunted but at least all 5 alive. After the heavy rain last weekend im having ph problems and a few lockouts outdoor. The Dr grinspoon looks weird and hardly has any bud, but its loaded with seeds. Should make interesting crosses. Everything is pollinated.1 point

Never surrender! Learn from this experience, and use this knowledge for the next run! Finish this run strong and you will be rewarded!1 point

Aweh good people. Grow we will.... 1-2. Swazi...ishhhh lady. She is a bagseed from last years grow, came up in my tunnel's walkway- showed some vigour, so gave her a chance. Swazi...ishhh, judging by the growth and structure, but she got some haze in her it seems. 3. A Purple Pineapple f1 girl, she's slightly sensitive, if you look at the primary leaf mottling. Did transplant her to a slightly hot mix, but she's pushing through and showing good growth after the topping. 4-5. Chocolate Gorilla getting good. She's carrying a lot of bud for such a petite lady. Luckily they are stinky pungent. 6-8. Purple Pineapple, she's going to be the Control, she is big and airy, good sativa stuff. Pushing sizable pom poms and sugarleaves are getting frosty allready. She's handling it like a queen a with the weather being on its head, 3 weeks of drizzle and wind, RH 65-90% most of the time. Got some rock dust, giving it a shot in a seperate batch of soil as the science looks good. Feeding SST's and AACT's, keeping the girls happy and strong. Got offered some semi decent indoor - Big Bhudda Cheese and a Blue Cheese, eishhh we were dissapointed. Puffing on Mr @Dank's BC, it has cured well - smooth with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. The time was worth the time.1 point

Bru I haven't had Mac D's since pre lockdown and I never thought twice about it. Now you got me hanging for a quarter pounder and cheese meal1 point

The final update for this grow diary, Small yields but that was expected with only 75watt of lighting. Sour Diesel Auto = 17g (pic in previous post) Cocopopo Auto = 19g (pic 1) Gelato Samba Auto = 17g (pic 2) Total weight = 53g. So just over 0.7g per watt although the Sour Diesel started and ended 3 weeks ahead of the other 2. Definitely not as dense as I would want them to be but I'm expecting better results from the new grow with the addition of the QB130 to my setup. Thanks to all for your valuable input and advice. On to the next one.1 point

And here is number 3 pushing more on the sativa side and definitely the stand out plant for me... Very pretty!1 point

So 22 days in I am very happy with the growth. But I am starting to see some issues with my wedding gelato. Not sure whether it is wind burn or the fact that I didn't PH balance my water for the first couple of feeds? I have started feeding Worm Juice with Calmag and slight molasses with a PH range between 6.3 and 6.7. Within the next week I will consider topping some of the ladies to start the mainline training. Franco's lemon cheese was killed in action - RIP so Chocolate Haze will fill that void. One day I will do a K.I.A run for all those ladies that didn't pull through on germination. Wedding Gelato Glookies Upper Cut Old school Purple Queen Chocolate Haze1 point

Two weeks since they sprouted today. Will feed the same regimen tonight but I’m bumping the Kelpak to 2ml/liter. Will only add fish mix week three. Also sprayed Pyrol on the tomatoes and then lightly on the plants last night. Feedback please? The Sativa sisters And the Blueberries. Blueberry #2 is slightly behind. My tomatoes, the OG testing plant. Thanks for reading. Jah bless!1 point

Day 30. Plants have spent most of the week indoors due to some weird ass weather on the reservation. The QB75 and the Blurple seem to be on par as I'm not seeing any difference between the two plants. Still putting this down to them spending most of the day outside when possible. Did some LST to #1 and #3 by mistake, don't ask. I think they looking good so I'm gonna leave sleeping dogs and not fuck around anymore. #4 is at 18 days. Same grow. In soil, water when needed, outdoors as much as possible and indoors under lights the rest of the time. This one I'm gonna let grow naturally, well, you know what I mean. That little cutting sharing the pot with #4 is from the Jack Berry (last pic) by the way. Quick question or two: I have not seen any signs of the plant being male which is good but at what age should an auto start showing sex? And if I put an auto into 12/12 will the plant automatically go into flower or stick to it's auto clock, if you know what I mean. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk1 point

Done! And yea... I'm most worried about nosey ass peeps calling the pop, an the pop being nosey enough to come count my shit... I feel grow space should be regulated and not plant count... Outdoor grow space can be larger than indoor grow space... But to me regulating plant count is more of a pain in the ass than abiding by area constraints. Like I have about 6sqm of grow space... Surely calculating the upper limits of what a plant/plants can grow per sqm should be a deciding factor? Like... What if someone sucks at growing... Certainly none of us fine 420SAins... But what if. He has 20x 15cm plants that are in full flower? Not knowing what the plants are capable of becoming, but is now in the wrong for trying to meet his 1.2kg allowed quota that he still won't meet with tiny plants...1 point
