I stick a bit in here with the 8 plant limit.. not sure if Ruderalis actually count ^^ I make me some more seeds and pollen as I started my Swazi Gold Auto Project. I will make a diary of that.. got a bit shifted as I need the 12/12 tent for the upcoming CBDs for a friend with nasty epilepsy. She wants to check if the CW's help her and she can get off her medication. What else I have in my stable are 2 FastBuds strains.. Gelato and Pineapple Express. The Pineapple seems to be on a rush and I am doing something right with those ones. Gelato is strangely smaller this grow. Both are Week 5 Day 1. Gelato Pineapple Express Ruderalis and the CW's are just out of the ground.3 points

Hey dude and dudettes, Long time smoking growing regular family man here. Love my pot, Love growing my pot and I am here to learn as much as I can from everyone and possibly add some of my own value. Cheers to you all!3 points

Sooo. Some ladies like the mainline and some don't. Atleast 3 ladies are jamming the high stress topping and stripping of the stalks. 3rd and final top on the 3 will be done in a week or so. So for the other lovelies I will just LST to get as much exposure to the nodes as possible . Great thing is all the clone cuttings rooted and were transplanted to 15cm pots. Upper cut Glookies (with some necrosis on bottom leafs - new growth looking good) Purple Queen Clones3 points

I wanna select a ruderalis female and male for more ruderalis seeds. Used all I had for the selection now. And I want to introduce a female Swazi to the ruderalis male pollen I selected and check how they end in the next round Is a bit all related to keeping me busy. If I get a nice result.. I will drop some seeds for you guys to test and comment.2 points

Looking forward to this, best of luck, may the genetic slotmachine throw you some jackpots! Are you going to gooi a Swaz male onto the Autos? Enjoy the grow @Prom2 points

Could be microscopic like rust mites, or worst case some virus. (Would be more deformed leaves in both cases tho) Could be you had spidermites but ladybirds or other benificials pulled in and had a feast. New growth aight?2 points

Which water source are you using ? Tap water ? Also, might be deficiency ? Slow amendments or water nutes ? I’m new to the town. Find me on Instagram: tanzenmusic thanks2 points

Quarter pounder autos (capeapeseeds)- day 30. They've started to pre flower a few days ago. I would have liked a little bit more growth but I'm hoping for a little bit more stretch during flower. I still notice some clawing on 1 of them but I think by next week it should be good. Slurricane Clone - did some defoliation over the weekend. Her tops appear to be even now so I'm holding off on the super cropping and allowing her to veg. I've got my light set to 19/5. I had it on 20/4 but slowly decreased the time to allow the slurricane to get a little more rest. Im going to further adjust the timing to 18/6. I've also added the QB75 to my setup and raised the light slightly.2 points

Hi folks. So I've been following the forum and learnt a lot from fellow growers. This will be my second indoor run so I thought I might as well start a little grow diary. I have a thing for running different strains and trying to experience some of the fire genetics on offer. So in this cycle I will be running the following: Wedding Gelato - Royal Queen Seeds Purple Queen - Royal Queen Seeds Upper Cut - Oni Seeds Glookies - Barney's Farm Old School - Ripper Seeds Franco's Lemon Cheese - GHSC Chocolate Haze - Royal Queen Seeds *(Back up)* I started germination on the 19th of September with all 6 feminised seeds going straight into peat pellets. No water or wet paper towels for me, I have had 100% germination success with seeds straight into pellets. For some reason I feel handling the seed less during germination might be better. That being said... during the transplant from pellet to pot I accidentally broke the tap root of the Franco's lemon cheese in half.. It seems like the lady started growing sideways and when I removed the pellet from the tray the tap root snapped in half with that said a Chocolate Haze went into a peat pellet as reserve and I transplanted the broken Franco's with the hope of recovery. To my surprise Franco's started growing a new tap root without any cotelydon showing yet. So nursing her back to health now. I cut of the gaas from the peat pellets before transplanting to the final pot as I feel some of the gaas might stunt root growth by not allowing easy penetration through the meshy material. So today will be day 9 since germination and I am seeing some nice 2nd set of leaves developing. I also did a soil tup up today to get some of that stem shooting some extra roots. I will be running a full mainline training exercise in 20l pots on all the ladies bar those that might not like the High Stress Training so much. Looking forward to sharing the experience and getting some experienced growers to impart some knowledge. 19th September 23rd September 28 September1 point

Ahoy ladies and gents. So I have recently had to halt my grow due to PM. I've given up on trying to save the bulk of the plants, just too much PT. It's a shame that I've lost so many kwaai strains though. One of the plants that were least affected seems to have a different issue now. Any ideas what it could be? I removed this one from the tent on 26/10. Did a major defol and then bombed her once with H202 @ 3% strength. I rinsed with clean water the following day. 26/10 - Before defol and H202 28/10 - After defol and H202 02/11 - The issue No signs of mites, webs or any other bugs.1 point

Great suggestion. I already use this in winter (added heat from lights to help with cold nights) and I didn't think of it for summer to take advantage of the colder nights vs days. Will be doing the same Thanks1 point

@Pants These will be photos bud, sorry we messed up. The first time we ever grew autoflowers was when I gave my sister a list to order from bulk seed bank. She ordered autos instead of fems. I was under the impression the crosses from my kc's males would result in autos. My mistake was pointed out to me on this forum, '' kind of embarrassingly''. The Gorilla jams and the X Æ A-13 were wrongly labled auto.1 point

Did the spots only appear after spraying the plant with Apple cider vinegar & H202 or was it there before?1 point

@Pants did you top that branch as well? Regardless, I am sure the plant will sort itself out and push out a node, although it may be below the fan leave and may take a while.1 point

the zoom is adjustable via a thumb roller, so you can adjust on the fly. other microscopes iv tried arent as easy to adjust without lifting the microscope off the bud1 point

Thanx brother man. Some issues this grow though Good old plastic shop around the corner. Super cheap and very functional as it allows for light streams of water thereby not displacing too much soil and limit overwatering.1 point

Love the coke bottle humidity domes, I use to use them as well but got frustrated having to cut them and not being able to cut them straight lol So now I switched over to the McDz McFizz plastic cups, they make good humidity domes and can also be used as a germination station with peat plugs if you save the lids. Will update with pics when I find them...1 point

Ok guys, I've checked everywhere. No signs of pests. I get the occasional dragon fly or bee, but that's it. Maybe something in the soil? Could it be leaf septoria? Topside Underside of the same leaf1 point

Day 3. Just under 48 hours and the seeds had sponged up enough water to split and show some roots. Into the soil. Must say I'm having good results using this method. More work involved with watering but seeing our industry won't be working for the foreseeable future I have plenty of time on hand. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk1 point

Just an update on the ladies - busted up my mobile yesterday, so have been slightly quieter than usual - have started LST'ing where i can. Overall, they all looking great & growing very nicely - Alien Tarantula suffering from a slight case of nutrient burn, OKC also had a a single case of tip burn on one fanleaf but nothing serious, seems to be the Slurri is the most resistant of the lot #1 Alien Tarantula #2 OKC #2 #3 Slurricane Had a moerse lizard invader among the random bagseed plants scare the shit out of me, first saw him climbing up the stem of a lady on the right1 point

mmmm im sure mine said 1600 on the box or on the microscope itself. 1000x is still excellent and you wont be able to guess incorrectly haha funny enough, the max zoom is actually too much to get a good enough picture. you see the trichomes super close up! but like in @PsyCLown pic, you only get a few in the scene to look at, which makes me end up looking at many many other places. i stick to the 300x zoom i think it is... where i can see like 50 trichomes at a time and be able to get a better guestimate on when to harvest1 point

agreed on a pest issue. that doesnt quite look like thrip damage, more whitefly or spidermites. funny enough i battled to notice whiteflies more than i battled to notice thrips so just check for that... whitefly like the underside of the leaves1 point

Just leave them in the dark for 24hours to adjust your schedule to a new day.1 point

Day 52. First 2 pics is the remaining one under lights. Bushing out since I did LST by mistake and still looking good. Routine still the same, water when needed (usually every 3rd day) and yard time whenever possible. Third pic is at 40 days and standing at 600mm and lives in the shade house. Then the two babies planted two weeks later. These get watered every second day. Gonna run a test on four of my outdoor potted Durban Poison using GuanoGrow. Local tomato farmer product. ...maybe this is all on purpose to push the courts to finally make a ruling with regard to cannabis clubs and create a precedent before the law is officially implemented Precisely. 2nd topping done on most of the ladies. Again... the tent looks empty but all for the greater good. Overflowing with cuttings at the moment so had to make due with some DIY humidity domes Still haven't started with veg nutes as it would seem most of the bags of soil I bought was damn hot..... as you can see on the tips of the Upper Cut lady.. so only jiving with PH balanced water and some calmag. Glookies Upper cut Overflow clone stack Empty tent1 point

32 days since germination and most of the ladies took very well to the first topping run.. all except Wedding Gelato. I had a chat with a friend and have a slight suspicion that I might have had a bag of hot soil that I used when I potted her. She was the only lady to show drastic nutrient burn without a nutrient schedule even being applied. As awesome as the mate could be he gifted me a clone cutting to fill the void of the inevitable dying Wedding Gelato sad but let's move on.. By this weekend I will be doing the second topping on all the ladies and the first topping of the late entrant, Chocolate Haze. Glookies Uppercut Chocolate Haze1 point

So 22 days in I am very happy with the growth. But I am starting to see some issues with my wedding gelato. Not sure whether it is wind burn or the fact that I didn't PH balance my water for the first couple of feeds? I have started feeding Worm Juice with Calmag and slight molasses with a PH range between 6.3 and 6.7. Within the next week I will consider topping some of the ladies to start the mainline training. Franco's lemon cheese was killed in action - RIP so Chocolate Haze will fill that void. One day I will do a K.I.A run for all those ladies that didn't pull through on germination. Wow I did not know you could over due epsom salts. Ok cool, just wondered why you chopped at the 1st node. I always chop at the 3rd node, gives a nice spread.1 point
