  1. Hey all! 'Tis the season to be merry and jolly and I suppose to give to others as well. I also feel that if anyone wants to grow a CBD plant, they should be able to. I have some CBD Charlottes Angel feminised seeds which I am happy to give away to a few members who are keen to grow out a CBD plant. This plant supposedly has THC under 1% and CBD upto 16% but I have seen lab tests where the CBD ends up over 20% actually. So basically you are not going to get much of a high from this plant, but you should be getting quite a bit of CBD. I grew it out and can confirm that smoking or dabbing it, not much of a high at all but certainly does have a calming effect. I will cover the cost of shipping. This will work on a first come first serve basis. Each pack will contain 3 seeds. I am more than happy for everyone on this forum to share with each other - be it the seeds you received or a cutting once you have started to grow the plant out. Ultimately I will be limited by the amount I am willing to spend on shipping as it does add up rather quickly. If you are interested, reply to this thread stating why you would like to grow out this CBD plant and then we can arrange the shipping - I will drop you a PM to get the shipping details. I may wait until all seeds have been claimed before I ship them out - this will make it easier for me as I can then do a single trip and ship them all at once. Once everything has been claimed, I will reply to this thread notifying everyone that the giveaway has come to an end. Keep safe and enjoy the festive season!

  2. Wassup everyone!!! I have returned... Sorry about the disappearance peeps, life got in the way - started a new job, got busy, stayed busy [emoji23]. Won myself the cultiv8kits #growyourown challenge on insta last week with an auto coming in at 113cm tall and netting my 146g dry [emoji1377] Also entered #theganjagames on insta and I'm one of the 3 or 4 finalists, grow currently underway. Anyway, I'm back, and I've got at least 3 journals I need to get going, I just threw 2 plants into flower so I'll be needing to keep track of a few things. Strains currently being grown: 1 x Purple Queen 1 x Siberian Haze 2 x Bubba Island Kush Looking forward to using the forum again, peace And Happy Growing! Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk

  6. This is very very generous of you wow, well done man, we need more people like you in the world I am certainly interested in growing some of this if its still possible. We made some medicinal oil with another cbd plant we grew and it has helped many people. I actually told someone less than an hour ago I will try and find some of this for his girlfriend who is struggling with anxiety and I will pass some seeds off to him also.

  9. my experience with HID has not come close to my LED experience. Granted i was using 400w HPS and not the bigger boys - so the difference for me has been chalk and cheese And contrary to popular belief, i have grown larger, denser more plentiful buds with LED than i ever did with HPS and i have already paid for half my lights just with savings on electricity due to the efficiency of the LEDs and i have to agree with @PsyCLown, the right strain , and the right pheno make the biggest difference. Keen to hear the comparison @Budwizer!!!

  10. This is pretty much my experience. There is more than just what light you are using to growing good weed. I find the growing experience is a lot easier to manage with LEDs such as heat management and power consumption. I am certain that at my current level I have grown just as good weed under HID as I have under LED, but at double the efficiency. Having good genetics is also fundamental and they will always treat you well if you keep them healthy and optimal.

  12. Go with the first one from lightitup. I know the guy. You won’t get nearly as good customer service from those other guys. If something goes wrong, you’ll be sorted in days rather than weeks. The lights are pretty much the same thing. Plus, that power meter comes in handy. All in all the lightitup one is by far the best value for money.

  18. @Ivanka welcome! I do agree with @SkunkPharm that doing a DIY light could work out cheaper, however not everyone is going to want to build their own light or import their own parts / lights. Or perhaps might not have the skill, time or tools required etc. etc. The space you have is a decently sized space. Ideally you'd want around 1300 - 1400 umol for that sized area, however you can get away with less and still achieve good results. 2x 240W Quantum Board lights will just about get you to the ideal output - as well as multiple other light options. However in your case you are looking for the most affordable, therefore the best value for money while still purchasing decent, high quality lights. Another option is to start with one light and later on add more as your budget allows for it.

  21. Both plants are flowering. I have started trying to scrog the indoor one, but I think I started too late. the main growth tip and top two branches are too high to be trained. The outdoor plant has grown a lot taller than the indoor one. Both plants seem healthy (other than some of the bottom leaves dying off). I noticed something seems to have eaten one of the leaves on my plant. Could anyone help identify what it may be and if I need to do something about it. It doesn't seem major at this stage (only one leaf affected) I have also planted a jack herrer auto and a bigger bug photo period that I intend to grow outdoor (I know I'm planting a bit late, but I don't want to wait for next year)

  24. Well I know that both@CreX and@Ill_Evan use to run HID and have since moved over to Quantum Boards with the Samsung LM301B diodes. Perhaps they can shed some light on how their grow has been affected and whether they've noticed any difference in terms of bud density. I feel bud density is more strain related. Also@Budwizer will be able to give some feedback once he has harvested his plants - will be nice as he has both in the same tent so just needs to compare same strains on the left to the ones on the right. But even if bud density was better with HID, how much better and does it justify the extra heat and additional power consumption over led? Especially considering we're growing for ourselves, while some of us may aim for cream of the crop bud, boutique bud which would sell for a mini fortune in a retail store its not the end of the world if what we end up with is slightly off from what we were hoping for - is it? I'd much rather worry about the strains and seeds I'm buying, as I feel that'll make a far bigger difference. Pheno hunt for the right phenos amongst those strains. 26. I have no experience with indoor growing or lights but have buddies growing indoor and what they have found is that bud density is far better with HPS.. I'll start up soon and will require allot of guidance from the forum. I am a outdoor man but with pollen flying all over I will do my personal variety in the tent from now on and only have my extract plants outside. Any other forum members that found HPS better for bud density?

  32. Yeah, at 4 weeks they are pushing the 9th node. Vigorous growth. They are short now, but are going to be about 1m+ ish at peak flower.

  33. First 4 weeks done. Planning on vegging for another 4 weeks or so. The gelato lines structure is starting to become evident. Outdoor babies are doing their thing. One of the 10 stunted after germination.

  34. Another week. More progress. In another week and I should have the beginings of a green canopy. I had to do something with the extra seeds I soaked, so have 10 going outdoors. So far I'm seeing consistant growth among the outdoors and the indoors, albeit they all germinated in their own time.

  36. 4 of the 9 are up. One damped off. I have other seeds soaking in case the remaining 4 dont come up. The seeds are fresh and should be chilling out a bit for the inhibitors to wear off, but I'm too curious about this cross too wait.
