So I harvested about 2 weeks ago and she weights just under 40g, there was a sweet smell while drying but now has a slight rooibos smell. Will leave it to cure for another 2 weeks and give it a proper taste.

I would say start outdoor with bag seed and no expectations.. Get the feel for it and then decide.. you've then got nothing to loose and only experience to gain.. Just do it..

I had some led strips which used Beidgelux diodes and have had some strips which used Samsung lm561c diodes and then QB's with the lm301b diodes. The lm301b diodes have been the best so far. But once again it all depends, not every diode is the same. You'd want to compare the Beidgelux diode which lion tree use to the Samsung lm301b and see which offers better performance. "Made in SA", more like assembled in SA. We don't make any of those chips locally so at the end of the day the most complex components are still imported. In any case, I'd rather go for the Samsung LM301 chips than the Bridgelux chips that Liontree uses.

@AquaS That 240W light is good for around 0.82 sqm - so it depends how many plants you can fit in such a space. I have managed to fit 6x 20L pots inside a smaller space before (0.72sqm). You could fit more plants under the light, especially in veg... even in flower, it just won't be the ideal intensity - however I feel it is common for most growers to not have the optimum amount of light for their sized grow as lights are expensive.

@Bos Thanx for the input.. appreciate it.. They are standing on a pallet.. I'll be putting up some netting to help. The mulch thing I will try again.. Had some issues with it in the past but will soak them in some Peroxide.. Had all sorts of nasties crawl out of it in the past. Below some pics. The male is the larger one of the lot. Below the mutants slash runts of the litter. The one has some weird leaf mutation and the other seems to have topped itself..

Just to throw a spanner in the works, there is also Organic Hydroponics, but I have not seen any of the nutes here in SA. I am a organic soil grower, but I can tell from some experiences abroad that I think it is very much up to the grower, and his or her available nutes + knowledge. Some of the dopest dope I ever smoked was hydroponically grown, and also some of the dopest dope I ever smoked was good ol soil grown. I think the flush is what really makes a hydroponic smoke match up to a soil grow, with that said I'm horrible at hydro, will give it another go when we get some organic lines in SA.
