Pic #1 x Slurricane. Pic #2 x Ghost Train Haze. Looking healthy and standing at 1300mm including pot. 1000mm from the soil. Water every 2nd day and none watering days I give all the plants in the shade house a good sprinkling. Temperature is rising and pumping wind is hot and dry. Yip, I think the light was too intense it was constantly throwing out new pistils but the buds had good amber trichomes coverage already. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk3 points

Hi folks. End of week 3 and I am already seeing some top heavy buds. All the plants are coming along really well and the stretch added roughly between 20cm to 35cm. I have pulled back on the seagro feeding and I am focusing now on Biobloom and Molasses. Hoping the bloom has enough N to carry them through the last 6 to 7 weeks. I am also starting to see sprinkles of tricome on the buds especially so on the Purple Queen. The next couple of weeks will be exceptionally fun Glookies Upper Cut Chocolate Haze Purple Queen Special Clone Side view tent Top view tent3 points

Aweh greenfingers, 1st things first- Purple pineapple smoke report is goooood. With such a short time in the jar the smoothness was unexpected....she plays nice and euphoric but as soon as you decide to chill/relax, she puts you to glorious sleep. On to newer things.... Endevouring to adapt our grow technique to comply with the new (to be gazetted) laws. Strain and pheno hunting aside herewith the ladies that made it to the big flower league. Most are local crosses, the Fruitpunch f4 and Purple Pineapple being my own project lines. The 'new' (ever evolving) amended soil is coming into its own, no deficiencies thus far. Had a dash of Ca and Mg problems last year, but no probs currently, leaving time to focus on organic IPM evolution, hence the tomato leaf and catnip extract spray applications. Had some good results so far with the spider mites/ aphids, with Margaret Roberts keeping the worms under control. If you look at each plant's presentation you can see which are in preflower and which are preparing to go into preflower. Depending on their genetics they all react differently to light and the flowering window. Go big or go home. Cheers vir eers.3 points

Hi Everyone, new here. In desperation to replace my income, I have started an online seed store. I would really like to make contact with anyone who has done something similar, especially if you have figured out how to best tap into the international / US market. Also looking for related products to sell on my sight. So, if you are a supplier of anything cannabis related I would be more than happy to help you sell your goods. Many thanks Charl2 points

Small update, really nice structure from these plants, tight spacing plus decent growth. Repot soonish2 points

Best time to start them here to get the most out of them is indoors in july/august to plant out in the ground by October. I would think the jiffys have to do with the slow growth. I usually start mine in a compost rich medium.2 points

I’m pretty sure the frass contains huge amounts of chitin and massive amounts of microbial, also could be quite important to sustaining good fungal colonies. Neem seed meal is only found overseas from what I’ve seen. Can’t find it anywhere, happened to stumble upon a supplier for the leaf powder. If anyone knows where to purchase seed meal locally, I’m all ears. ☝2 points

During my high school year's all I wanted to do was go travel. My grandfather who had been round the world a few times said to me one day ' travel your own country first before you go travel the world '. I did just that. In the days when hitchhiking was still safe'ish, my thumb took me from the East coast to the West coast, Cape Town to Harare. I hit the road to the airport with 180 pounds in my pocket and returned 10 years later. It's kinda hard to explain but visiting those small dorpies and farm towns in SA prepared me for a lot overseas. I got into indoor growing beginning of lockdown thanks to reservation moonshine and the bug has bitten. I've decided to travel SA once again before I venture overseas but this time it is for the quality and service I believe is available in this country. Everything about this grow is Proudly South African. The setup: CABINET. Wife's custom shelving converted into a cabinet. LIGHT'S. @growopz QB75'S. 1 x QB 3000k/4000k. 1 x QB 3333k. 2 x 15w Osram led strips 4000k. Rigged and ready. Once again@growopz came to the rescue. Approached him with a budget and what I had and a plan was made. SOIL. JouMaSeSoil. Coco - Peat Perlite Vermiculite Basalt Rock Dust Michorizzae Diatomaceous Earth Bone Meal Dolomite Lime Worm Castings Kelp Meal Microbial Tea Ph tested at 6.5. Soil is made by a Cape Town local and so far so good. SEEDS. @Bay Seeds. Bruce Banner 3 x TNR F1. Glamberry x Lemon Jedi OG. Master Lester ( Dr Grinspoon x Lemon Jedi OG ). @Totemic. Choc Gelato x Ghost Train Haze. Choc Gelato x Slurricane. @Daggafontein Genetics. African Buddha. Big shout out to all of the above for making this possible and look forward to the journey of finding those South African breeder's and gem's. Next year bud's.[emoji109] Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk1 point

Harvested yesterday and hung to dry. So much foxtailing, really think it was either heat or light intensity that stressed the plant. Lessons learned but happy I have a harvest. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk1 point

A remarkable recovery. Holly comes from a Transkei origin seed. At a month old she was fimmed by a red locust so I surrounded all of my seedlings in tulle and dowel tents until they were big enough to withstand pests. Today, Holly is chest high and showing sex. I have pruned and trained and she is nice and bushy. I am hoping for some good bud from her.1 point

African Buddha from @Daggafontein Genetics first pic and Choc Gelato x Slurricane and Choc Gelato x Ghost Train Haze from@Totemic. Grow got of to a jumbled start with some planted November and some December but the babies have settled. The BB3TNR from @Bay Seeds was planted earlier and I think I over did it with the LST so the poor plants have taken a knock and are on the mend now. Pics of the rest to follow later. Pic #1 the Ghost Train Haze cross. Pic #2 the Slurricane cross. Both plants loving the shade house and as with the other plants these will not be moved again. The roots will be punching their way through the bottom of the pot into the earth soon. Standing about a meter tall at approximately 6 weeks with only sunshine and water. Got some more germinated for the indoor grow but those have found themselves in the queue for a combined grow so there may be a duplicate diary now and again.
