  1. It's been a while since I've posted about my grow. My last grow turned out average and I found out my QB was running at half power(always test with a watt meter before) so yields was not amazing but I've learnt a lot! Im growing 4 different strains, 3 clones from @Dr. Greenand 1 seed. The 2 on the left Big Buddah Cheese and GDP Fast(Seed) are about 2 weeks behind the others so I raised them with bricks The 2 clones on the right are Jelly Bean and Miss USA. I have the Jelly Bean growing in Orgasoilux, Miss USA in Freedom Farms(green bag) Buddah in half Orgasoilux and half Bio Leaf and GDP Half Freedom Farms and Bio Leaf. For Veg I used 2x 90w Modugrow and have added my QB288 for the last week of Veg before I flip to flower. 1st Picture is 2-Jan 2nd Picture is 13-Jan 3rd Picture is 27-Jan

  2. Weather is crap ^^ Had some spare time, took the Nikon out Outdoor Gelatos ... happy buggers and very fast flowering, put them outside 1 or 2 Jan.. have to check.. not sure anymore. But going pre and flower stage, not bad for 4 weeks.. The bend one also doing what it should And Indoor Autos last days.. I think I had topmax on for a bit to long ^^ but can't complain about the cola sizes All plants are from the same genetics.. so all will go for Terpene and Potency tests. Indoor photos just went 12/12 9 days ago. Lets see.. ^^ Auto vs Indoor Photo vs Outdoor Photo.... same batch of seeds, 42FastBuds. Curious about the result ^^ 18 plants will go for test in total.. I hope the lab gives me a discount

  5. Good job on the clones, they're looking much better. [emoji106] Neville's haze won a few cannabis cup trophies. The creator died a few years ago. Its almost a pure sativa with a strong citrus flavour. That's basically all I know. It's my first time growing it. Haze is one of my favourite strains to grow as it's mildew resistant. I've done amnesia haze, super silver haze & haze royale previously, but Neville's is by far the stretchiest. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

  6. Nah, never used green house powder feeds. I'm using GHE Tri Part. I've previously used Biobizz, Hortimix and Haifa. Tried various extras and such too. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  10. If any of you guys are into surf, sand or sea, I have found a hidden gem for you. Shaka Surf Shack, an Unreal place built into nature around trees, with treehouses to stay in for only R250 per night. You are are about a 200 metre walk through forests to dunes and sea. Nice chill areas, entertainment area, skate half pipe and freedom. Surf school with a pro surfer if you are interested, you can do sandboarding on the dunes next door or a quick walk to blue flag beaches of Port Alfred. Go inland a little to Bathurst village, a farming community with lots of eccentrics, growers, stoners, artists, potters, home to the biggest pineapple in the world. Something for everyone in the area, rivers, dunes, game reserves on the unspoiled sunshine coast. "Live your life be free"

  11. Hello 420SA, Great to be here and very happy to have found a strong local community with buckets of knowledge and expertise on this amazing plant. I'm a Uni student located in the Southern Suburbs region of Cape Town. I've been an on-and-off outdoor grower for a few years and definitely consider myself a novice still. I would like to improve my growing skills by engaging with the wealth of knowledge this forum hosts. I currently have 7 outdoor photoperiods going; 2 being in the ground, the rest in pots. Most are bag seed of decent genetics I've collected and then I have 1 Wedding Cake and 1 Grande Crack in pots, bought from Biltong & Budz. 2 of the bag seed has gone through some terrible re-veg due to early planting schedule. Proper rookie mistake. I've also already harvested an Amnezia Haze auto flower this season, with a harvest of around 50 grams dry with no training, not much amendments and water with a pH of 8.6. So was far from ideal, but still gave me some decent flower considering the less than ideal grow. I have since started pH balancing my water and feed, I am seeing improvements, but my plants are telling me there is still much to learn. I have recently got a 4x4 grow tent and Mars TS-3000 LED light and will be starting my first indoor journey in 2021. I love Outdoor cultivation and will always keep it around. I would like to improve both indoor and outdoor techniques and practices and know this community is loaded with experienced heads that can assist my journey! Will start a grow diary in due time as well. Look forward to being a part of and engaging with this community! Bless.

  12. Those are the lessons you never forget hey. Another little bit of useless information we use at our nursery is: After you've done your research and test area as above is to spray in the afternoon after the heat of the day if outdoors. Then spray down the next morning while watering. This prevents residual build up and avoids all sorts of heat/sun chemical reaction damage to the plants. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

  13. Week 1. Pic 1&2 indoor. Pic 3&4 outdoor. Original 30 seeds planted have all sprouted. Two of them are stragglers but I'm hoping there's a bit of fight in them. Some people enjoy the flowering stage. I love watching these little buggers develope and the way they just fok voort. Of the following 15 seeds planted they went from glass into pot and straight outdoors. Nine have sprouted. Plants are a bit stretchy due to my light being a bit to high but they seem happy.

  14. Thanks for the info bro. I got the 88% figure from an older post I think. I rechecked the data sheet, is it 94%. I agree, their customer service is insane, I get same day (within a hour or 2) replies almost every time I message. Also,@PsyCLown Here's the spare part list, maybe you can find which driver it uses from this. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk

  16. Guys just an update on my grow. Growing from seeds realllllly takes time.... 1st pic. The Umya feeding on the left and on the right flora grow. Both the same seed and same soil (coco mix pertile ) , only feed them like once a week... Looks a bit yellowish....or is it just growing new leaves? The umya really got alot more length compaired to the flora grow. Currently week 4....planted them the 4th of Jan.

  17. Looking real good there @Jimmy-z.. The Neville's Haze Clones are coming along Great.. They have some interesting leaves. Do you have some info on where it is from and have you sampled some yet..? I have two clones of the two that has rooted. And I put them in the tent. They up for trade but no one is interested so I will flower them small just to see what the buds are like..

  19. Dewormed yesterday Thnx. He was started with one drop a day and is receiving 2 at the moment. I will stop like you suggests for a few days to see if it reduces his appetite.. It not a major thing really was just a observation and I was surprised that he wants to eat all the time.

  20. I have 2 90w Modugrow and really do enjoy them, I've used the 2 for Veg in my 1.2mx1.2m and will now add my 240w QB in the middle for Flower. The driver is 94% efficient. I do think they are abit expensive when looking at R/per watt and there are a lot of options available but I must say the customer service is good, part of my one light failed and they shipped me a replacement light within a no further questions asked when I messaged them. They also have spares for end of life replacement which I think will pay in the long run.

  21. The man that made this board passed away a couple days ago. He was a hemp pioneer, surfer, grower, father, brother and friend. RIP Chipper. Just to say something. I was driving down the coast a couple weeks back, meaning to call him, pop past and say high. In these dark days, just do what you feel, dont miss an opportunity to say high to an old mate.

  22. Have you guys ever seen a dagga surf board. I see alot of people on here or for growing only But there is a world cannabis out there and WE need to support all cannabis businesses. Hemp companies in SA are getting alot of crap from the powers that be and its very difficult for them to sustain their businesses. I was fortunate enough to cross paths with an amazing hemp pioneer who was using hemp to make surfboards and deepsea *flippers*. He made a hemp board for my dad, old ballie surfer from Durbs. It was custom made on the South Coast by South Coast Customs. One of the most amazing things I have ever laid my eyes on. The leaves were from NguniSeeds strain tribal vision and super imposed on the board. I dont think the business is still running and he has moved onto bigger things. But was just reminded to me on FB about this board in memories, so thought I would share. The board is a short board, 6.4in. Its lighter, stronger and faster. An amazing gift from an amazing person. Surfs up, but you cant smoke it.

  23. Hey all. I spotted the beginning of spider mites on my outdoors. Clipped the affected leaves and everytime I water I give the whole plant a light spray when watering. As backup I crushed 2 garlic cloves, 2 chillies, half an onion and let it sit in 3l of water for 3 days then sieve. Usually use (spray the leaves and stem) this for mealybugs on our palm trees. Was gonna try it on the plants but Murphy's Law, the light spraying seems to have worked for me as plants are tip top now. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

  24. @Freshlypicked I am using the Umya range, but I just have the 3 basic ones, Pot Radix, Pot Grow and Pot Flora. I use those in conjunction with EM Pro Soil and am really loving it. Super easy to use and at that price point I think I will be sticking with this range for a while. I still consider myself a noob when it comes to growing so I'm in no position to "recommend" the brand especially since I have nothing else to compare to, but I enjoy using it and it works for me. @Totemic Blueberry Glue - 10L Pot - FF Premium Soil - Umya Nutrients
