Got stuck in with a little defoliation this morning. Opened up plenty bud sites that never really made it past the net. A lot more light penetrating now, but still have a pretty solid canopy left.9 points

NOMINEE UPDATE - REASON FOR DELAY Howzit guys sorry for the delay with the announcement of nominees. I recently moved houses and have been without internet connection ever since. Experiencing delay after delay with fibre installation due to the sheer amount of rain we've been having. My temporary connection was activated last night only so I'll get onto the nominees this weekend and will have those nominees announced tomorrow the latest. Sorry again for the delay!7 points

Big thank you to @Cannabist for the prize, dont think I've ever won anything in my life. Unfortunately can't post a pic as my Note9 has turned to a ball of shit since the last update, but I got same as @DamDave. I had great success with Barneys LSD (also purchased from @Cannabist) so cant wait to see how their Violator Kush grows out. Once again, thank you to @Cannabistand the forum for making this possible.4 points

Hi folks. So starting week 8 tomorrow and counting the days for the first chop. The terpene profile of the ladies are really starting to pull through and some very unique smells coming from the tent. Buds are starting to fatten up and some wicked nitrogen deficiency pulling through on most plants. I might switch up my nutes next grow and go with BioGrow instead of Seagro. Hi First post. First grow. Apologies for the long post I decided to plant some bag seed on the 1st Jan. The plan was for the bag seeds to be a pilot grow, to practice all the research I've been doing online (420sa was/is a big part of my research, you are all amazing!). I wanted to convert my cupboard into a grow room slowly, just a fan and lights to veg for February, then complete the setup with an exhaust system for flower in March. It's a small space, 96x50x155cm (0.48sqm), but I want a carbon filter and noise as low as possible, so balancing size, cost and noise is where my planning is currently. I planted more seeds than I needed because I expected less of these old bag seeds to be honest, some over 2 years old, but they all sprouted. They're growing well now, almost 5 weeks in. I'm enjoying training them and seeing the different ways they recover. The hardest thing has been getting watering right, probably due to my OCD 'helicopter parenting' special growing technique, which I have now mastered. I borrowed 2x30W flood lights from a friend for the start of the grow, then bought a 120W quantum board from @Light It Up this week, which came with 3 Tortoni feminised seeds from @Totemic. I put 2 of them in a glass of water till they sank, then into small plastic pots with half FF premium classic, half worm castings and a few teaspoons of kelp meal and mycoroot. Been 2 days so far, waiting (im)patiently... Here are a lot of pics lol. If anyone has comments, especially if you have experience with a similar setup, I'd love to get some ideas and suggestions from locals on a budget. I think I've read enough articles online for a while... Started taking pics at 14 days. Wet cotton pads into FF soil was super easy and went from dry seed to breaking soil in 48 hours, should've maybe stuck with this method for Totemic seeds, any thoughts? Just grew out like this, like it topped itself, with some other weird growth too First day under lights. 21 days old. Growing the weirdest and fastest of them all. I haven't trained or topped this plant. I kept looking for roots through the side slits, then saw this. New 5 litre fabric homes. Gave 2 away, not enough space. Started topping 3 of them. The Runt @ 4 weeks, a few days after some LST and before some pruning. Adding the new light. First 3 days under 120W. Noticed better growth on topped plants compared to LST, so topped the rest of them. Praying to JAH these Tortonis pop!2 points

Soo as some of you may have seen, I have decided to try out some autos again. I grew some back in 2019, decided to try them out again and some better genetics this time around (hopefully). This is what I will be growing, so far just one of each. I soaked them on Saturday I think, then they went into paper towel and last night they all had tails so I quickly finished buffering and getting the coco prepared and into 20L fabric pots they go! I was contemplating starting in 23cm pots, then moving to 20L pots but decided against it as I do not want to disturb them with a transplant as they are auto flowers. I put some myco and trich powder into the coco when putting the seeds down, this morning there was a little more growth and I am hoping for some leaves by the end of tomorrow. Here they are in their pots last night. I am thinking I will pop another 2 seeds in a week or two and increase it to 6 autos, might even go for autos. See how space is. I am also contemplating whether I just let them becomes christmas trees and do no training on these autos or whether I do some LST - what do you guys think? LST or no training?1 point

Glass of water for 24 - 36 hours then into soil. I don't seem to have much success with the paper towel method. Glass of water then into jiffy plugs have also worked in the past. Just a mission to get plugs out on the reservation hence water then soil now. 43 from 45 seeds germinated last planting from water into soil. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk1 point

Thanks@Cannabist for the freebies. I've always been wary of ordering online, this delivery has changed my mind. You can add this future customer to your mailing list. [emoji109] Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk1 point

201g dry from an auto, that is quite something... DAMN! Curious as to what I will be getting from the auto's I currently have going. Wonder if I can break 150g dry from one of them.1 point

Day 13/14 Im very happy with their development the last week. 3 of the 4 are Choc Gelato dominant, and the last is Slurricane dominant, and I've experienced between 15 and 30cm stretch. Their next feed in the morning I'll be switching over to a flowering nute schedule. I'm running with the Biobizz range, and been using their Grow and Bloom, but adding Top Max as well this round.1 point

I have always trained every cannabis plant I have ever grown. I have never just let a plant grow like an xmas tree. Took some pics last night, got leaves on all the seedlings now.1 point

My vote goes for LST also. I think you can get a lot more out that way. Attached is my Critical Auto from Victory Seeds I just harvested 250gs wet on the scale, so will see when dry. Been struggling with this kak humidity, so I ended up wet trimming a lot of her (after these pics)...not my usual MO. Good luck with the grow, will be interesting to watch. I do like the idea of comparing xmas tree to LST on the same strain, but I guess it can be strain specific as to what each likes.1 point

So far I have nothing.. but... I gave it a 50% Serenade spray on the outside plants.. just to be sure This guy talks very much sense!!!1 point

I almost forgot, I split the Ethos seeds with @CreX and @Ill_Evan So we may get some updates from them on their autos as well, depending on when they plan on growing them out.1 point
