Evening fellow florists Just a wee bit of an update. Some good some bad.... Most of the country had some bad weather and we were no exception, luckily our greenhouse remained grounded, but 2 of the girls sustained some damage. Luckily broken branches can be mended. Very happy with the growth on the Purple Pineapple Express clone, she is a bit bushy and branchy but another defol will sort that. The Purple Stiltons and Fruitpunches are doing great, the 2 in the greenhouse are putting on weight and getting nice and frosty. Their counterparts outside are a bit slower going into full flower, which suits us fine as we can stagger the trimming. One of the Bubblegum girls got damaged in the hectic weather and split her stem quite badly. Looks as if she'll recover as both have gone into preflower. The plants in material bags is our R&D dept. Have to do pheno hunting of course. Mixed batch of WWxCheese, Swazi, DBN, Pineapple Skunk and an overtly Peppery indica. Sticking to the biobizz range nute wize, alternating with banana, apple and comfrey smoothies, AACT and SST.7 points

Hi folks. So it's almost time for my last update on this diary. I am currently 8 and a half weeks into flower and will most probably start harvesting this weekend. I am using the breeder guideline for flowering time as well as my overall perception of bud development, calyx structure and pistils. Wanna try and do it old school without the microscope and tricome assessment. With the naked eye you can still see a progressive change of colour. On another note I found out that my special clone is an Ethos Crescendo RBXV2 what an amazing score from a great buddy. way less complications. also, you can take much larger cuttings that would normally save you a few weeks of growing if you are looking to go perpetual2 points

Been busy, kept forgetting to take photos. This is the veg tent on the 6th, looks a bit different now. As you can see I moved the autos to the back under the lowered light. aaaaand this is flower at the moment, bit messy - some very lanky plants this grow canopy isn't all that flat. There are not any dark spots, just the way my camera has taken the picture. I have been adding some plants to the flower tent as I feel they are ready, so they're at different stages. Some in pre-flowering and others are starting to form bud. Also some still need to stretch. Been dealing with some thrips and random bugs in the coco, I suspect its springtails. I feel I am winning the battle with the thrips though and you can see a little burn on some of the older leaves from some sprays. need to spend a bit more time and trim and neaten the plants.2 points

Thanks for the welcome @Bos @PsyCLown @Stinger96 As requested, some pics! Auto Elixir CBD by Canuk Seeds; Auto White Widow (I think by MSA?); "Auto" Super Lemon Haze by Canuk Seeds, that turned out to be a photoperiod lady. Imagine my surprise when it just kept growing. The seeds went into Jiffy pucks 03/10/20 and I harvested 11 January. Grown outdoors, CPT North, using Freedom Farms and some Umya nutrients with pH-balanced tapwater that I left out in the sun to get rid of some chlorine. This was around week 8: Week 10-11 (From left to right, top to bottom: Elixir CBD; White Widow; Super Lemon Haze; WW.) Shortly before harvest: Result:1 point

I'm not too sure if they booster fans? I think I will go to one of the stores this weekend and see if there's any specs.1 point

Is that not perhaps more of a booster fan? Would we be nice if we could get figures as to how much air those fans move.1 point

Best is to get a proper PH pen, HM Digital have a decent well at a reasonable price (just under R1k). I find the cheaper PH pens are not as accurate and lose calibration after each use. Also get some PH down while you're getting a PH pen. It's not expensive. I myself want to get a Prima Klima fan to try out, I got some RAM 6" inline fans and it's reasonably quiet for the amount of air it moves, but you'd want to get a 4" fan and not 6" as your grow area is quite small.1 point

When I spoke to Jesse he said if you are just pressing a bit of bud yourself its not an issue. They likely wont charge. If you want to have them do an extraction for you, then you pay.1 point

Thank you @Gloriosa superba, your purchase is being packed and will update you the tracking number. As per original the full amount was paid to Fields of Green for All. You getting an unreal package, that even the most seasoned breeders would be sweating for. Cannabis, tobacco and chillies on their way.1 point

@CreX@Gloriosa superba I dont really have a lab environment but I do have experience working with mycelium on agar in an SAB,I have most of the tools needed for home mycology, It seems pretty much the same process to follow. I just wanted to experiment a little. You guys are probably right though better try my hand at cloning, less complications.1 point

African Smoke have rosin presses which clients can make use of and they can help you with extractions and such too. Do not think they do tinctures though - rosin and hash I think it is.1 point

I personally wouldn't put it back in water to soak. I'd suggest leaving it in the paper towel, I assume the paper towel is still moist?1 point

@Totemic I select the most terpene heavy and most potency heavy mother. You are very welcome to pick a clone up, once done with the selection My gelato seem to be more sativa sided. Parents are Orange Sherbet and GSC (thin mint cookie version) Outdoor happy too... so the genetics like the CT weather Going over 2 meter now. Indoor you need a carbon filter... they really really smell1 point

The baby Swazi and Purple Pineapple f1 lady got the chop. Spaced over 2 days as she was a big girl. Her sativa genes showing in the cola structure. Sweet fruity scents and very sticky, probably got more than a gram of scissor hash haha.... hoping to get close to 200gr dry. Lost 2 lower popcorn buds to rot, but we can live with that. The oscillating fan is doing its job. Shifting focus to the rest Bubblegum and Fruitpunch f4's which are vegging nicely after transplant to 75lt tubs. Germed WWxCheese, Pineapple Express and DBN Poison. Finished the first 1m3 of my amended soil and the 2nd batch is cooking. But we need a lot of it. Its used for everything we plant in various strenghts. From the Spinach, Lettuce, Aloe Vera, Sweet Potatoes, Gooseberries, Habanero's, Passionfruit, Guavadilla, various herbs and 5 varieties of Tomatoes. Busy times ahead.1 point
