Hi folks. So I had my math wrong and didn't harvest any over the weekend. I am currently on day 59 of flower so starting this weekend the chop will begin with some selected ladies. Purple Queen and Uppercut first in line.. The Uppercut is blowing my mind with bud size and tricome development... I just wonder what it might have looked like if I added TopMax. Maybe something to consider for the next grow? Chocolate Haze Uppercut Glookies Crescendo RBXV2 Purple Queen Old School Wedding Gelato Full Tent3 points

15 years ago your "question" would be valid.. but science debunked the Indica is a downer and Sativa is a upper idea.. what you wanna feel, what effect you look for.. then you get some rather good suggestions I copy/paste .. to hot to type hehehe Do Terpenes Determine Indica or Sativa Effects? If you’re reading this article, you likely know the difference between indica and sativa cannabis strains. This nugget of conventional wisdom has dominated the cannabis space for decades. Traditionally, indica-dominant strains describe stoning varieties, whereas sativa cultivars are described as energetic and cerebral. However, cannabis scientists have recently scrutinised this paradigm. The traditional model associates these attributes with genetic factors and divides indica and sativa strains into different subspecies of the plant. More recent discoveries instead link the effects of a strain to its specific cannabinoid and terpene profile. Although indica and sativa titles certainly correlate to the morphology of a strain, they don’t necessarily determine the chemical profile within. THC plays the role of the active constituent within psychoactive cannabis strains. But, why do different strains produce different highs? Terpenes hold the answer. Through the entourage effect, terpenes determine whether a high will be physical and stoning or cerebral and stimulating. This new understanding of cannabis has led some researchers to even ditch the idea of strains altogether, as plants of the same cultivar can vary in terpene level as well. Instead, they suggest a new paradigm of “chemovars[3]”, where plants are categorised based on their unique phytochemical profiles and subsequent effects.3 points

I was reading over terpenes once more to see what new is out there. You find about 200 terpenes and 100 cannabinoids in one plant. My simple calculation was, the bigger my plant, the healthier, the better. So main focus was fertilizer. I will most likely redo my Biobizz tables and make a monstrous change.. but that has strangely not much to do with terpenes, just more yield. It wasn't hard to recognize, that my weed quality went up, as long as I kept my climate in the perfect range. The Quantum Flux Meter gave the next huge increase in quality. And ran into this short but rather significant article on Royal Queen Seeds. As I always said.. you have to unpack your A game from start to end and keep the climate in ranges not hurting your terpenes... and if you screw over drying or curing, you still end with bad weed Can You Increase Terpene Production? Genetics play an important role in the terpene content of a strain. Cannabis breeders actively combine desirable terpene profiles to create strains that possess a specific blend. However, environmental factors can sway just how much of a specific terpene a cannabis plant expresses. Growers can take advantage of these influencing cues to drive up terpene levels, subsequently enhancing the taste, smell, and effects of a harvest. Cultivators can hone in on several key methods to increase terpene levels, including: Adequate stress Correct lighting Optimal temperatures Flushing before harvest Proper drying and curing2 points

I would do some research on training techniques. Low stress training and topping is your friend, especially when growing indoor under lights Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

For me this was the best InHouse plant so far. But I still have to grow out a couple. In veg atm. Dirty Banana Garlic Sherbet Lemon Sorbet And Zurple Punch is 3 weeks into flower.2 points

Not a lot of leaf on that plant, must be a pleasure to trim! For a sugarcane, one expects a bit more frost but that still looks really good and may be better to have a pheno which is quick to trim but has a little less frost. Looks tasty!2 points

I tried to find any updates or when the ruling on the draft should be done... mid Feb now.. found nothing. Anybody has an idea when this will finally happen? Should have happened October 2020.. very curious when we finally have a law to work with. Just read, in Canada gets now more weed sold over the counter, then on the black market. What also means the tax man has a big smile on his face. I still hope they legalize all to get some money into the empty tax accounts. Getting 15% from every joint sold.. can't be small cash hehehe 18 September 2018 they gave 24 months to turn the draft into a law... so more then 29 months passed now Anybody has an idea or news?1 point

Far from a perfect setup, but we all start somewhere, the first time is always a learning experience... Had more clones take than expected for my first batch, probably the best problem to have Sent from my Hisense Infinity H40 using Tapatalk1 point

The last two I tried to germ.. one showed face but damped off the other still nothing.. so I gave up and planted some tobacco seeds in their place... they germed so I gave no idea what I did wrong...1 point
