  6. Exactly. One down, how many more to go? Just because a drug is illegal, does not mean it is dangerous. Just because a drug is legal, does not mean it is safe.

  11. @PsyCLown Dude my point exactly! Flip man, get a garden job and earn R200 for that day, suffer for one day, buy food for R50 and take the other R100 go buy tomatoes and sell it on a corner and make profit doing that and you on a roll now because you now started your own business, plus you have R50 left over from the day before so food is sorted....something along these lines...I mean you get my point....people want goverment grants and instant gratification! no more hard work....

  14. @Wulf With worms you have to be vigilant. They like to hide in the buds and hollow them out from the inside. You just see the bud wilting all of a sudden and their poop is germinating grounds for budrot. If you can, open the buds up and check inside, hopefully the neem/pyrol spraydown got them all. (Hate cutting out buds cause of worms or rot.) The Margaret R worm stuff works for me, my girls will be getting a routine spraydown tomorrow.

  19. Soo many factors, also @Ill_Evan will be doing it outdoors so limited hours of light compared to my indoor grow which is currently 18 hours of light and no clouds or rain will affect the lights the plants get (only Eskom, lol). So I reckon I may see some better results due to the fact that I am in coco and indoors until harvest, so I can control my environment. We're getting closer to winter so temps and light duration will start to decrease.

  22. Not much of a difference. Pheno 3 is more indica, and has a more pronounced hashy spice in there, while the other phenos are pretty much the same, and have a much sweeter profile

  25. Google suggests common 'tobacco budworm' they appear in many different colours and are the progeny of a moth. Cant remember the exact price, about 150. You use a few grams per application so it lasts a long time. Best stored in a cool dark place or in the fridge.

  26. Hi Wulf, I am sorry you need to go through that. I think crime will increase sharply in not too distant future. Everything gets more expensive, more people are unemployed. The poor population increases and they get even less for their little bit of money. Of course that doesn't justify hurting other people or just take things that aren't their's. But do you really want to allow the death penalty as a tool for the authoroties in South Africa? The same authoroties that are a big part of the actual problem? I am sure it will be missused and many innocent people will die. That guy has been sorted out even without the death penalty right? I believe in a "what goes around, comes around" kind of thing. Put negative things out there and it will come back to you in some kind of way, sooner or later. The same goes for doing good things. Again, I totally see why you say what you say. I would be outraged too. I think it's not just lazy to break into other peoples houses and rob them off their hard earned belongings, I think it's just sick what people can do to other people and still be able to live with what they have done. I too believe many people do not contribute to society, are a waste of space and should vanish. Especially the ones with the "hand--out mentality".

  27. They can go F themselves. They should be called what they are, rapist, murderer, thief, low life. They should be reminded of that every day. "Prisoner" is too soft of a term, and already seems pretty PC to me. Funny thing is that is many prisoners or thieves are in fact clients of the state literally, or rather "Friends of the state". So that term does hold some water Sorry to hear about your ordeal. In this country we have to accept it right now, that very often justice will not prevail, and if we can accept that then we'll deal with the lack of it better. Otherwise we'll just go nuts.

  29. Some people do not want to work, they want an easy life. So they sit at robots and beg for money or they turn to crime as its easier and less effort than finding a job and doing the work. If you are that desperate, you will make a plan and find something - take any job you can find. I am sure he could work in someones garden, pay may not be great and it's a lot of effort but its a job... But no, its too difficult to they decide to take the easier route.

  30. Morning Guys! Wanted to update this thread. So apparently there were 4 burglars that broke into our home. One was caught by a community member! he happens to be 17 years old! Shortly after his arrest he was released into the custody of his mum as he was regared as a minor!!! 2 of the 4 have since decided to stop their nonsense but the other 2 have continued.("Inside information") Having said that a week or so ago, the 2 that decided to continue were out late "working" (I have been now told that they regard this as "work"), They came across a coloured male and decided to rob him, and in the process they stabbed him in the neck! At the time they did not realise who it is that they stabbed, this guy is/was part of a gang called the 28s, as soon as the gang found out, they searched the area for the 2 robbers and managed to locate one, while the other has now fled our town. (According to "inside" sources.) The one that was found is the 17 year old black male, the 28s tried to assault him,/kill him, who knows, but the police were called. They, the police I mean, apprehended the 17 year old and put him in the back of their bakkie but the gang members got into a quarrel with the police and one of them was also put into the back of the bakkie without been searched! He happened to have a knife on him and stabbed the 17 year old!!!! (NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). He was injured and taken to hospital....this is as much as I know for now. I was called by the police to ask if I want to pursue any legal case against the 17 year old as he is still a minor, what a joke, so he was old enough to break in to my house and stab someone in the neck, but not old enough to take the punishment for his crimes??? BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY! And dont tell me about human rights, wheres my human rights when you rape and kill my wife in front of me and then kill me just for fun? Rape a grand mother, your own grand mother and rape your neighbours male kids? These are sick people and dont belong in society, please dont tell me that people are hungry and they doing what they neeed to, to survive. GO GET A JOB! The worst part is that I must work, pay tax, the goverment takes my tax money and pays for the rapist and killer of my wife to have a nice life in priosn, you have a roof over your head, you have your meals sorted out, clothes are provided, you have TV, Lights and water etc etc etc. Hell you can even become a lawyer while you in prison and you cant be called a prisoner as that is a derogatory term, you must be called a client of the state??? Plus you have rights, so if you dont eat meat, I mean you are a vegetarian, then the state must provide veg dishes for you?? WTF??? Seriously? haibo and eish!

  31. @Stinger96 Hey bud! She seems to be doing fine for now, Inspected the entire plant yesterday. @Bos Whats up dude, Thanks for you reply, Exactly as you describe it! These worms seem to love the buds and I usually find them inside the buds along with their webs and poop. I have done it exactly as you have suggested, I opened all the buds and inspected them closely, and yesterday only found 3 bud with webs and poop but no worms. I will have to check daily like this, I ended up with sticky fingers yesterday and quite a pleasant smell, its tiresome as I said earlier but I think its worth it. (Im wondering if I should be wearing latex gloves???) @Stinger96 once mentioned indoor is not for sissies, well I think neither is outdoor! @Bos where does one get the Margaret worm stuff from? do you remeber how much you paid? (Thanks in advance) Does any one know what the hell this worm is called? Trying to read up on it but keeping finding things on caterpillars

  33. Aweh @Brain Welcome to the forum, best place to ask questions and learn. Seems you allready got some greenfingers there, nice yield. Good advice in the above posts, bit late in the season now for planting photo periods. You could go the autoflower route if you want to start now, but as mentioned they can be finicky. Your soil doesnt look bad at all. (We have pure sand here on the northcoast). For growing cannabis it would benefit from some aeration and more organics as mentioned. You could for example add coco, perlite and wormcastings and build your own soil or you can buy prepackaged soil such as Freedom farms. You say you have space, why not start a compost pile for next year, then all your plants will benefit. A greenhouse or nethouse will help a lot with weather, wind and vegetarian pests of which there are many to contend with. Make sure about location! We have a 18m2 tunnel where our flowering plants finish up to avoid weather, butterflies, worms and hoppers, cause you cant spray much on your plants while they are in flower. Enjoy the journey.

  35. Bud pics Holly (Transkei) at 23 weeks from sproutInzane In The Membrane at approximately 6 weeks into flower (clone) (mite webs evident) I've decided not to use that soap on my plant. It has to be rinsed off when it dries, and the tank is empty, so there is no water for the rinse. I have read that BB effectively reduced mite infestations by 98 % in trials, so I will continue with a more intensive treatment of that. The pruning and airing, and light rain have helped too I hope. 37. Hi @CreX Ok, Planning on moving forward, I would love to be able to grow outdoor and indoor(greenhouse). I wish I could tell you what type of soil I have in my garden, but I really have no idea. I think its sandy but really cannot tell you for sure. I do know that so far it has grown, Butternut, Eggplant, Squash, Chilli, Tomato, Beans & one year, 2 or 3 watermelons. I have taken some pics, I hope these indicate something of use so you would be able to tell me which direction from here? Thanks

  38. The only reason I moved away from acdc lights is because I could afford the quantam boards lol. But I do like the more spaced out panel. I have a 3rd design, where it is 4 mini led panels but in one fitting... It gives a greater spread than the newer acdc models... And I feel it also puts out more light... Even though the draw is still 150!! So I think you got a deal with the slightly larger panel footprint. Another note is that I also find them fuck hot... But if I put a fan on it... Little pc fan... I gained 20% luminous intensity. Went from 9k lux to close to 11k without adjusting the distance of the light or plants. So definitely add a system to cool them a bit to get more out of them
