Experienced.. wouldn't say so. I just like to know what works and what doesn't. When the law said unlimited seeds.. I ordered 11 strains a 10 seeds from fastbuds.. then they changed the draft ^^ and my order got confiscated. Now we check what works, before Jerry sends the rest Their work is a bit useless.. as at the end.. you get your seeds.. they just waste more CO2 on wasted transport. And as the WHO took Cannabis off the list for dangerous drugs, I am willed to go head to head with a judge because now they just restrict my liberties as a individual. Cannabis is important for my personal well being and quality of life.3 points

Could be different phenos. Looks as if you may have had a bit of nute burn as well.3 points

Hey guys! I am really looking forward to this grow. Objective is for personal breeding purposes. This will be my first time experimenting with breeding cannabis, any help is appreciated Currently growing Laughing Buddha (Barney's Farm) and Charlotte's Angel (Dutch Passion). Plan is to cross Novakane with these strains, as well as breeding Novakane F2 seeds. Novakane F1 seeds were sourced from @Totemic. On a side note, just a thank you from my part. The beans I ordered arrived swiftly, with a lot of freebies! The quality of these seeds are unmatched. Started germinating today, soaked 5 regular seeds for 30min in Explogrow. Afterwards transferring them to a 1:100 solution of Explogrow and pH 6 water for 12 hours. Am a fan of the paper-towel method, and have had great success placing said paper-towel inside a plastic bag on top of my router. Will do this next... The other day I noticed a seed developing on one of my shade house plants. Not too happy as I've worked hard to keep males out of my grows. Then I remembered my landlady and her helper have also planted a massive grow, about 50 plants in flower at the moment. Off I went, found Alfred and took a look see at their grow looking for males. No males as he says he pulled all males about a week ago. Damage done. BUT What I did also find is one off the Jack Berry that I'd given a few seeds to him to plant. That's her next to him. Thanks guys, these Auto’s do my head in. My gut feel was she is showing some beautiful colour but then I freaked because her sisters aren’t! Each of the four Amnesia Auto’s in this tent look slightly different and developing at different rates. Three will be harvested at the same time but the last one, now the biggest one (by comparison) looks about 7 to 10 days behind. I suppose it’s the nature of the beast, I will try photo’s towards the latter part of the year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Awsome colour you got there, that red/purple leave can be entered for snapshot of the month bru Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk2 points

Can be soo many different factors though - it is also just 1 seed so it could just be a slow grower that particular plant. Pleasure, let us know how it goes if you do go ahead with it.2 points

For those active on Insta and the community, you might have come across Head Honchos. Insta: https://www.instagram.com/headhoncho_genetics/ Web: https://www.headhonchogenetics.com/ We would like to know if their genetics are something the community is interesting in? Feedback will be rewarded Will name the prize tomorrow (Need to go through stock), random post will win a pack of international seeds.1 point

At first I thought it was colouration from a maturing bud, then I took a closer look and now I’m not so sure... The last pic is of the plant (same strain) next to her, and this one has no colouring at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

A cottage is becoming available but Sgt. Koeckermoer and his wife are moving in. He's not concerned about us, private property he says besides he loves the place and our midgets are the same age. Got other kak to worry about. Neighboring farm has a cop with 2 attack dogs. Feeling pretty safe lately. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk1 point

She usually grows auto purple haze for her MS. Lockdown on the reservation has been long and we soon cleaned out her stock. Hence the reason for the plantation. Re stock. [emoji16] Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk1 point

what are we looking at man? maybe you could draw an arrow to the area you are concerned about? to me it just looks like the plant is showing you some cool purple orange colours and i do not see any major issues. you are not terribly far from harvest either, so anything you do is likely not going to make much if any difference to the outcome, which looks like its going to be great man... jy stress vir niks chom1 point
-
So you're going to need to blaze a number of fatties to determine the outcomes. WooHOO!! sounds like a jol!1 point

Awesome. Keen to follow. Using those F1s, your resulting cross will be a poly hybrid, with many different phenos. Some will be slurricane dominant, others GTH, others Charlotte's angel etc etc.... expect the the GTH to dominate. Not a bad thing, as this space is where you find unique phenos. Likewise your THC:CBD ratios will be on a spectrum, and not uniform through the plants1 point

Very interesting cross, good luck man. I'm in the process of researching which direction to go for my first canna breeding program.1 point

Only the best muti is being used! Rhino horn, shark fins and the cherry on the top being ground up umbilical cord from a baby. On a real note, lights, nutrients and environment lead to happy plants, combined with some good genetics and the results speak for themselves. I think I might, will take another look from different angles as well and see what it looks like and what sort of light penetration the leaves are allowing at the moment. Do not want to get rid of all the leaves, but do not want excess leaves. Also not going to lie, mission and a half to get in there and work with the plants now due to their height, the fact they're sticky already and the automatic watering system at the bottom limits me from moving the pots to make space.1 point

So I grow in coco and I use a few things which some feel should not be used with mineral nutes. I do microbe inoculations, add trichoderma and mycorrhizal fungi and I have used explogrow too and so forth. Typically I use explogrow for when I germinate seeds, add a drop or two when letting the seeds soak. Trich and myco I get as a wettable powder, a 2 in 1, and use it when I put my cuttings into coco once they have rooted (or seeds if I am growing from seed). I then use microbe inoculations with the first feed (you could add the explogrow here too I am sure). Otherwise just add the explogrow to your normal feed at the suggested dose, but it can become very expensive as the doses are quite high and big plants require quite a bit of feed. As for how much of a difference it makes, well, that is hard to say as I run multiple "additives" - such as the trich and myco and so forth. Also most use soil and I grow in coco. However my plant growth does appear to be quicker when compared to some other members when seeds have been germinated at more or less the same time - but could be various factors which affect this. Running a side by side comparison with cuttings will help narrow it down, but is time consuming. My view is that the inoculations are not frequent and more of a once off, with the exception of the microbes which I may do roughly once a month (when I remember). My plants typically look very healthy I feel, does not cost me that much so might as well continue with it. I do not see it doing any damage, other than to ones wallet.1 point

I'm also super interested in local and espesially in a few years when international growers will order from our local breeders [emoji322] Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk1 point

we should do anything and everything in our power as growers and enthusiasts to support the locals. if by any stretch you find the SA cannabis scene to not be up to standards, it's supporting local that will get us there.1 point
-
Why not, will be good for a seedbank to stock a lot of the local breeders stock - easy way for growers to find and explore local breeders stuff. If someone wants to do an all local grow, Cannabist can be the one stop seedbank then.1 point
-
Also super stocked for when @1000Hills Nursery drops their line. Been waiting more than a year though they making sure its on top of , with some extra . Going to be an epic year1 point

yes please. Seen these guys alot lately and their strains look good. A couple other local breeders to mention are Sunshine Coast Genetics.1 point

I'll say yes man. Support local. This year has hardly started and many local breeders have stepped up and hitting hard. I'd love to see our local market get established to the point where we dont need to be sending our money out of the country at 15x + exchange rate.1 point

Started smoking around the age 16 ,we were a bunch of friends that just wanted to experiment, we started with taxi rank weed , here in durban anything green was called dp after awhile we got to know about Swazi weed. Eventually as time went on I learnt about a higher quality weed which was grown indoors called 'skunk' back then in was R60 a gram but you had to buy a R300 banki to make it worthwhile for the dealer to come through, 300 bucks was a lot of money at the time so all the buddies use to put together money to buy skunk on the weekends. Now I grow my own because I seriously cant be paying 150 a g .weed also helps with my anxiety(excessive coke use in the past) and I love growing and blazing.1 point

She's alive. My Jack Berry lives on and is gonna grow up in the shade house. Will definitely be taking cuttings off this one and try my hand at bonsai mother plant. But she's alive. [emoji109] Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk1 point
