  1. So for many years I've been growing in soil and using mixes and matches of nutrients experimenting with good results. Decided a year ago to give biobizz a go and been doing well with the range. Last week though, the sobering reality that Biobizz, the bloom specifically is sold out and fast selling out across the country. What a bummer... There are issues at DAFF and the re-registration is causing an import delay I guess. This puts me back where I'm going to be using a blend of products again once I run out of Biobizz. With so many that are going to be facing the same issues I thought I'd share the blend here so you can also mix your own should you want to. But first... All the disclaimers This is not an all organic fertilizer blend. The bulk of the phosphates and potassium are derived from MKP. (I know all the strictly vegan okes are screaming now... I don't have time to ferment bones and fruits etc... P is P, and K is K to me, and using MKP in very low doses works in organics.) This is a blend of already registered and readily available products. It's going to set you back about R400, and will last a long time. There is nothing special about this blend. I have literally taken each of the suppliers recommended dosages for 1000l, and combined them with 830ml distilled water. So this 1l treats 1000l water, or 1ml/1l. What you need: 20ml Amino mix 40ml Elixer humates 40ml Elixer fulvates 40ml Sea Rock 30g MKP 830ml Distilled water All of the above blends to a dark liquid, with no precipitation reactions, and provides roughly (based on supplier supplied data) 0.3g/kg N 10.7g/kg P 10g/kg K Plus the aminos, humates, fulvates, hormones and other micros. I have used this blend in conjunction with any fish hydrolysate and mollasses with great results. Edit: After recently getting feedback from a grower who measures his input EC to his organics, found his EC reading was lower than usual so he bumped up the EC using only the bloom blend. That quite simply locked his plants up. This bloom blend does not work on its own. You have to use a fish hydrolysate and mollases. This blend being partly salts, is meant to be used as follows: 1ml fish hydrolysate, 1ml molasses, and 1ml of this bloom blend per 1l of water, with every watering. It's a matter of constant micro fertigation to sustain a healthy plant.... Being over eager and over feeding does not mean a yield increase.

  3. I use Orgaluxsoil this season and so far it's awesome. I also did a test grow for joumasesoil and it's a decent mix! Below a current pic of my Original Amnesia grown in 40 liter of Orgaluxsoil.

  4. PACKAGE RECIEVED!! I recieved it yesterday on the 1st of the month, what a great prize! The sweetest sweet seeds shirt, 3 awesome stickers, a pack of rolling papers (low-key always been collecting nice packs as they are so cheap so SUPER STOKED on that) and then the 5 different strains, although I was told they're gona be 5 each, 2 of the packs had 6 in them so instead of 25 seeds, there is 27!!!! this is way more than just a prize, I can't wait to give you all the pics once I pop all those perky little pips! FUCK YEAH CANNABIST, COULDN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH!!!! Also a BIG BIG SHOUT OUT to @Totemic the pioneer that's doing it for all of us! I am sure I speak for most of us when I say this shout out goes deep, even time traveling a bit back in time to when the man took the steps that was still concidered a crime back then, to get to where he is now. The best way to show how much we appreciate his hard work and efforts would be to show support and buy as many Totemic packs as you can!!!

  5. @Dookie69 we've phased out the classifieds from the forums and it now has its own dedicated area on the website. Therefore it isn't available on Tapatalk and quite likely never will be unfortunately. Have a go at our website on mobile. You can add a shortcut on your homescreen with Google Chrome, if you use Android.

  7. A quick update on my auto's, the OG Kush has been the fastest growing auto and has now started to go into pre-flower / stretch and is pushing pistils. Below is the Pluto Cut which has also been doing really well! The Gelato below is by far the slowest growing out of all the autos, hopefully it is happy to veg for longer to catch up in size. Could just be a bad seed, I have more Gelato seeds so will see when I run some autos again how it compares then. Last but not least, the LSD-25 is below which is growing slight faster and bigger than the Gelato but not quite at the same rate as the Ethos autos. A picture of all 4 together:

  15. Last weekend I went to the hydrobiz stash and dash thing since it was nearby, cannaclone was giving away free clones to everyone who showed up at the end. I got 3 Crescendo clones by Ethos and 1 Dirty Banana by In House. Very nice people, but it was kinda funny that someone called them to complain while we were waiting that most of the rasta bricks you had to find to win a prize were found by people who showed up early. Transplanted the Orient into the greenhouse, I'm loving this plant so far just super healthy and vigorous looking. Northern Berry Gold auto still going fine, hopefully will be able to harvest in a few weeks with no problems showing up. There was a little PM on a few leaves of the Glueberry OG auto which was worrying, think it might have been from when the power went out for a whole day as they had to replace a cable and it was raining. Been thinking of also switching the greenhouse to positive pressure. The Sakura's are looking good, pretty sure the one on the right is male. Decided to try out some tomato cages for support. Very vigorous growth from the Sakura's, quite impressed and I really hope I get a nice cherry pheno.

  17. Reading through the posts now I see plenty of brands and prices being mentioned. The soil I get is called Joy Ma Se Soil at R150/30l the last time I bought. I think he has a website. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

  20. For some reason they fascinate me... and I'm a bit skittish for them also... Have you seen their fangs... I always expect them to bite.. When I find them on a plant it is assif I have peace that there will be no pests arround..

  21. Oh, I almost forgot about these two sad, sad autos... Growing very slowly. I actually thought the Brooklyn Sunrise had stalled and died but last night I saw the two true leaves appear. Not expecting these to be as great due to their poor start. These are just under 2 weeks old already The lights are higher up though, so think they are not getting enough light - even at this young age. I have my lights dimmed as well. The larger 4x auto's are still under 100W of lighting, I need to bump it up to 240W now I feel. May even add a bit more for them, will take a look tonight and do a shuffle in the veg tent with the autos.

  22. So last night I culled the Cookies & Cream as it turned out to be male. It has since been replaced by 2x Lime Drops (finally) which were put into flower last night and now the flower tent is FULL! .... until harvest. This will be a staggered harvest as I am sure you guys noticed I have been adding plants into flower in batches.

  26. Here's a quote from Dirty Ninja on NukeThreads "For cannabis, bottom threshold for optimal growth and photosynthesis is a DLI of DLI of 22 would be: ****Going lower than these numbers will still grow cannabis, however yields, bud density, potency and THC percentage may suffer. 24/0 schedule: 254.6 micromoles/m2/s-1 18/6 schedule: 381.5 micromoles/m2/s-1 12/12 schedule: 509.25 micromoles/m2/s-1 For Cannabis, the Top threshold for optimal growth and photosynthesis is a DLI of 65 moles per day. ***extremely important notice, only go up to these amounts if you are using supplemental CO2, do not go this high if you are not using supplemental CO2 as you will actually slow down photosynthesis and waste energy. 24/0 schedule: 752.31 micromoles/m2/s-1 18/6 schedule: 1128.465 micromoles/m2/s-1 12/12 schedule: 1504.6 micromoles/m2/s-1 The generally accepted guidelines for artificial light PPFD in flowering are this: in a 12/12 PPFD of at least 510 micromoles/m2/s-1 for the low end of optimal intensity PPFD of at least 800-1100 micromoles/m2/s-1 for perfect optimal lighting without additional CO2. PPFD of at least 800-1500 micromoles/m2/s-1 for perfect optimal lighting WITH additional CO2." Just some additional info. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
