  1. So I had a bit of a fuck up, due to the height of the plants and the weight of the colas... some plants fell down at the back of the tent and then some move fell over onto the other plants which pushed more plants over... a lot of plants had colas falling over so I had to get in there and try hang the colas up to keep them up until harvest which is not that long from now for some of the strains as some are very quick strains I believe. If I could get to the back of the tent, I could post pics of some other strains but you guys will have to wait a while. French Cookies, not sure I will grow this again: Frosted Apricots (I really really like this strain so far, hopefully the yield is good and smoke is good too): Exodus Cheese - big buds but lacking frost... This strain needs no introduction, the frost tells you what it is... Sugar cane: Blunicorn:

  4. @Budwizer hey brother. Thanx for the shout out. Finished up the trimming of the Crescendo RBXV2 this weekend. She was the last plant to get chopped at 71 day flower with a 12 day dry. She yielded 99 grams... Humidity went Karoo style the last couple of days in Gauteng. All in all ended up with a 320 gram dry trim weight. Will post an update on dried bud pics and smoke report shortly.. here is the Crescendo we finished up with just now..

  6. We launched out new look and feel and totally re-did our site. We had some funnies with duplicate orders and silly things so thought it would be best to migrate the products, clients and orders on to a fresh install. We have tried to put local seeds upfront and will be loading stock for the rest of the day. We have also dropped all the marketing and analytics tools so we are just focusing on word of mouth and a happy client base. No one likes to be tracked However will still use email marketing. Would really love some feedback, the good and the bad - In return will be giving away some local seeds to 3 randomly selected folk that give feedback. Will also be running a local seeds special next week.

  10. Hello folks. I'd like to see if there are any other sativa/landrace/heirloom lovers here. The weed that sends your mind on a trip while leaving your body in tact and sometimes giving energy. For me this type of high has anti depressant qualities and soothing on my psyche over long time periods - my "medicine". This topic is for discussion of pure sativa and almost pure sativa, anything knowingly hybrid with indica or high CBD plants is off topic. CBD is the enemy of a trip high. Thin leafed sativa landraces or heirloom plants are found mostly in the equatorial regions of the world from around 15° north and south of the equator. Its also thought that high altitudes can play a part in evolving thin leaved plants. I have found from my personal travels in southern Africa that coastal humid areas seem to have more thin leafed plants than inland areas. Since I live in a humid area myself, its tough to try and grow the inland plants here out of their climate because they are susceptible to powdery mildew. The popular thin leaf growing regions of the world are best separated into large areas sharing similar plant traits for eg. Thailand/Cambodia/Laos/Vietnam plants are very similar and share many common traits. Mexico/Panama/Guatemala/Honduras plants also very similar. Going further south in the Americas to Peru/Columbia/Brazil you start to see the change to broader leaf plants but its hard to get good examples of plants from these regions because cartels have been importing genetics since the 70s. There are quite a few isolated Columbian sativa that are pure that people have managed to keep around, but in the case of Brazil, I have yet to see one legitimate landrace sativa from there and its all "Crip" basically landrace x modern stuff. I guess this wouldn't be complete without some pics of the skinny girls. Here are some pics from other sativa growers, some friends of mine, some not. 13. @Marijuana Seeds SA ye not questioning the credibility, just though we missed the boat on some packaging changes. e.g. Telling if we get old stock from looking at the packaging (Yes they have batch numbers aswell ). Like the old GHSC discs vs the black cards now etc..

  14. Let me lesson some concerns here Unfortunately we do not sell in retail packs as we ship our orders the exact same shipping method used by Nirvana Seedbank for their international clients. Due to the discreet packaging used, our seeds are packaged differently. But rest assured, our stock is fully legit and you are more than welcome to verify our stock's legitimacy with Nirvana directly at https://www.nirvanashop.com/about-nirvana-shop/official-distributors/ Hope that clarifies some concerns some may have

  15. it is very easy to over fertilize your ladies as is with the already tested nutrient solutions on the market. so as mentioned above, it would be better if you knew the ratios of the nutrients in the mix that you make so that you can adjust and improve on the stuff... but not knowing each product and mixing them together could produce much worse results than you were expecting. but if you do have a good understanding, you are likely going to mix something that will work well

  17. @Dr. Green Thumb never heard of it, not sure whether its organic or not. Got a link perhaps? Mixing nute lines is possible, but you should at least have a rough idea as to what you are doing.

  25. @Marijuana Seeds SA You cant go posting that on my thread, and not expect me to take notice of such fine equipment If I'm correct, I know the watch well, as I collect them, in my small way... Jenna is tops and sure will chat to her, as I was meaning to contact her again with regards to the last order anyway (good things of course). Thank you again MSSA

  28. @Cannabist I assure you they are fresh from the breeders We continually rotate our stock with Nirvana directly to keep them fresh and ensure viability The packaging (for international clients) has always been the same (hence it seems old) as it is the most discreet and safest way so far. May I ask what you mean by GHSC discs?

  29. This build ends up costing me about the same as an HLG 550/650 kit, so not cheap. But I’ve got better cooling than those kits, so my boards should last a little longer. And when my boards are finished, I can just replace them. Plus, there’s a lot of satisfaction making something yourself.

  30. Thanks my dude Yeah, the silver doesn’t look too bad. My first effort at building my own QBs. Ive refined the wiring, and the hanging arrangement. Black releases heat faster than any other colour, so the new ones are a little more effective. These boys are quite heavy with those massive sinks. A little over 7kgs each.

  31. Hey @Cannabist they come in the cards, in disguise and that also helps keep them safe from damage. How do you get them in from supplier? I'd imagine in bulk it would be a different story, just a guess.

  32. Not fun loosing plants. Drop us a pm, we have a pack of mixed autos we can't sell due to being lost over a year ago and found in our store room this week, can't garentee they will germinate but pretty sure they will. Happy to donate them. Think it's mixed autos from 00 seeds.

  33. Hey @Cannabist good to see some changes, and so many for the better too. Well done sir. May I, as you asked for constructive criticism and or feedback... Love the site, glad you took away that text nonsense that flashed at the bottom, with who bought what in what area. One thing I can suggest, is to change the background colour of the page, only on some places though, as you'll see in my attached pictures, the red or orange is a little distracting or withdrawing your focus away from the sexy bud shots. The grey is much more pleasing on the eyes, and makes the bud, POP. Otherwise, glad you back and made such good changes, all the best for you brother, peace.

  36. @Budwizer thanx bro much appreciated. I am already busy with the second grow on my strain journey. Got the next batch germinated and will run a new 6 strain diary shortly. Running some @Totemic Palomino and Tortoni alongside some TH seeds Bubblegum, Garden of Green Girl Scout Cookies, Braincake by Ripper and Twisted Helix by Inhouse. Then on to some old school genetics supplied by @Golden-Goose for the next run. For the love of growing

  37. Time for an update! All 5 of the seeds germinated. Three of them struggled, the shell is quite hard. Would recommend some sand paper or other method to gently weaken the shell, they germinated swiftly afterwards. Inoculated the medium with Explogrow and Mycoroot before planting.
