What is up good people, here is a little something I have been busy with the last few months that I think some of you might like... a Mushroom Farm, well getting there hahah This is as primitive as things get, I plan to make a few bucks out the place to cover the expenses and invest to get something proper going. Building the same setup with Isoboards is what I am going for, already got quotes to get some frames welded for hanging and making use of vertical space as I have plenty. Just waiting for a cash flow. I teamed up with a guy who's doing the marketing, I am doing all of the growing. Any questions welcome. Incubation "room". Dimentions: W2mxL3mxH3m. Wood frame to hold thick black plastic to create complete dark room. 1/3rd of the wall on the left is covered with 90% black shade net folded double so the the room can breathe, but let minimal light in. inside incubation, with few colonising Hard to get a good pic, but here is the grow room. W3mxL5mxH3m. wood frame to hold a UV protected opaque plastic. door open. RH on 98% The Reservoir. I got a 70L thick black tote bin with a constant water level, pumping ultrasonic fog into my grow room. you can see the whaft it pumps out Inside the Res, I got a M6 fogger, they sent me the wrong floater and I had to improvise with a pool noodle, works 100%. I got a water line pumping water into the res (visible in photo above) with a floater valve to shut it off and keep it from running over. got a 20cm inline fan system running, if I put the fogger off it sucks the 98%RH down to 40% in 10min. got a piece of the black shade net over the mouth of the fan to keep spores from building up inside the fan, gets cleaned weekly. most importan, Sonoff TH16 booooiiiii once I get the grow room going, I have to leave the fan off. put the fogger on, let it build to about 95%Rh, then I switch the fan on and leave it on. I got the fogger running on the Sonoff, when the RH drops below 90% it kicks the fogger on, once it reaches 98% it switches back off. Room never really gets wet, except for minimal droplets that form on the floor over a period of day, walls are never wet, but air stays very moist. very important. Now, some shroomies7 points

Hey man [emoji20]. Mine had a rough start but luckily ended up with 2 females. One left in the shade house which I'll be leaving for a bit longer. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk1 point

I use orgasoilux as well and had two different reactions. My autos from President seeds was extremely stunted, but my photoperiods loved the soil. I came to realise that maybe the soil is not best suited for autos or at least for early veg. I am now growing fastbuds autos and amended the soil with equal parts coco and ewc in the top half of my pots after seeing the same complaints as you and they loving it. This is picture from yesterday(day 19/20 from surfacing which was March 14).1 point

Hi folks. So 6 months later, from seed to smoke, I have been able to enjoy all the strains and the tastes and smells they offer. So this is the last entry to close of the diary. Purple Queen: Kush hybrid so the smoke leaned towards a lemon/pine mixture and surprisingly actually worked very well as a day time smoke. Chocolate Haze: Very nice fruit flavours and smells with limited chocolate undertones. Very nice head high leaving you nice and energetic. A mate of mine noted her smell as beef stock Crescendo RBXV2: A very unique spicy smelling plant with a linger of mango on the smell. Taste was pronounced with a very nice orange marmalade on the exhale Wedding Gelato: This one hits you to the fences.. buds looked amazing and the smoke reciprocated with nice pepper and spearmint profiles. Old School: It was obvious that this was an Exo Cheese cross with both the smell and taste of the exo shining through. Glookies: This is the plant with the most pronounced smell and flavour profile. An exceptionally heavy citrus smell and taste leaning towards grapefruit and lime. During flower her smell was so pronounced it bordered on rancid. Also very energetic high. Uppercut: This was the most beautiful plant in the collection and most probably my favourite smoke. Her exhale smoke smells as loud as a Holland coffee shop next to a chemical factory she has a super soft on the palate taste leaning towards grape sherbet fuel mixture. Once she is smoked in a room you do not want to leave the room as the smell is so entrancing... Next grow is already up and running so keep an eye out for my next grow diary which will aptly be named Palomino and Friends. Giving some Totemic fire a run.. here is a sneak peak.. Happy growing folks and thanx for reading my grow diary.. hope it was as fun to read as it was to grow.. Peace1 point

Wow, it's not as easy as I thought. Thank you for your detailed answers, you've encouraged me to take this a little more seriously. I've wanted to start growing weed for a long time, but I didn't have enough time to do it. Now, during the quarantine, I am at home all the time, and so I have time to do this. I know almost nothing about cultivation. My goal is to get something similar to the products you can buy from PureHempFarms, which is my favorite store and a standard of quality. I don't think I can do it on the first try, but it will probably take several attempts. How quickly were you able to get a good result?1 point

Demessed the 18/6 tent. As soon as i get the potency tests, i turn the winning Gelato into clones. Also a nice example for single QB light setup. You can handle youngsters to 1.60 tall plants in one tent. The taller ones even profit from the lower light levels.1 point

All plants from the Gelato hunt are dry and we will check them out next week on our poker session ^^ Happy when I can clean out and arrange my mother tent And washed one of the Charlottes Web, got 23g of nice honeybee, gets checked Sunday in a week. Liquid butane gas... outdoor job1 point

Taking the CW's tomorrow.. happy with the stand of the trichomes (bud from the middle of the plant). As I wash.. I do not let the sugar leaves go to amber. Curious what potency level I reached.. the machine will tell But not taking the color babe.. she needs a bit longer1 point

Taking the Charlottes Web's next week, 9 weeks flowering, not slow either but seems to be the usual for CWs, 9-10 weeks, had to read up ^^. The Gelato's I hunt flowered in 7 to 8 weeks outside. one of the CW and the colorful sativa pheno1 point

Put them under cover as we had a few drops of rain.. and any more weight would break the plants. Tied them down.. but the top is just getting way to heavy1 point

I took the more indica going Gelato down this morning before the sun came up, full moon harvest . Left the 18/6 tent on the first Jaunary.. 59 days for pre and flower. I think is the first photo i took down in Feb Defoiled, the plant is a bit over 900g wet. As there is no way i get my dry area to 20 degrees, i hung the plant in whole, to not let it dry to fast. If your buds are dry before 5 days passed... you ruin the taste and effects (my opinion ).1 point

Light just went out as I wanted to take some pictures.. so just one. Left them alone. Beauty sleep important closer look1 point

I put mine in a tin with hot water for 24 hours. Straight into seedling trays in the sun.. Eight days later 112 of 120 seedlings were transplanted.1 point

About 48 hours away from making the material needed to make a brick or 10, and damn now got involved in building an entire pump house. FML, but viva cannabis. Remember hemp? Dagga’s non-narcotic cousin, the wonder plant that was going to alleviate rural poverty, stimulate small enterprises, provide jobs, houses, textiles, paper, food and possibly even save us from global warming and the oil crisis? Well, that’s what we were told when the government launched the National Hemp Initiative back in 1998. So where are all the fields of waving weed? Source How sad is the ANC, been researching hemp for the last 30 years, involved in law suits for stealing hemp genetics from Europe and still nothing to show. What asses. The picture below was from our first hemp trial in SA, planted around 2006, stolen, including the fencing. Since then, nothing much at all, except rotting hemp in warehouses and expensive processing machinery getting rusting. #anclegacy0 points
