Image from last Sunday. One clone still looks like its fallen behind slightly. If it doesn't improve over the coming days, it will be moved to the edge and replaced with a plant of the same height. I'm considering taking out the drip trays so the herd can be packed tighter together and create some space on the sides of the tent. Not sure if this is the way, I will probably seek the sage advise of the magic 8ball. LOL! Fertigation has proved to be troublesome, We are using a 20ltr backpack sprayer in the mean time while components for an automated fertigation system are gathered. I'm away for the whole week so my Special Lady Friend is holding it down. I'm super lucky to have a partner who loves cultivation as much as me. Play together, stay together. Crit, opinion, advise, be it positive or negative is always welcome. Thanks for looking, peas!4 points

Believe it or not bru, i found the advice on an organic gardening site. The bottle contains 25000 mites housed in vermiculite, so i sprinkled a little in the pot and held the mouth of the bottle on the leaves that are most affected. Just did the mom's this morning before work. I'll do the tent tonight.3 points

Well well I'm glad to see this thread, for the past 3 grows I have only used seeds from Marijuana Seeds SA, my current grow diary consists all of nirvanas DP, Pure Power Plant, Aurora & Blue Dream, all sprouted, service is good, delivery time is good, and the quality of strains are excellent. Good work guys keep it up3 points

That is the Cloud Walker. Ja it looks very nice. I will be adding the chemical bride and kings juice to this thread as soon as i start them.3 points

Small update on some of the strains I was growing and some for a second time, this time was a bit better I think, but also could have easily sparked catastrophe due to a cal/ more so mag deficiency in my soil which caused me to lose the ghost train haze (caution was thrown to the wind). Never the less the other plants snapped back well. White Wedding - Ethos Strawberry fields (one got chopped up yesterday waiting for this one to show signs) Spumoni Slurricane Blunicorn (outside testing the new soil )3 points

I am trying to pay for my solar system.. and something rather funny occurred. When I try to make the payment on Alibaba, I get a error message back from Skrill, got the Mastercard from the guys. Please contact Skrill support. Used the card before at Alibaba, all fine. So I contact support and ask, what is wrong? Answer, nothing, all is fine with your account. Try again.. I do, same error message. Contact support again, answer.. na, all good, we can't help you anymore, has to work. So why does your system refuses the transaction.. ticket closed and not by me.. is one of those stories.. morons you find everywhere. But how you tackle that issue? Their own system sends an error, support confirms that your account is fully functional.. but payment still gets rejected by their own system and support sees zero problems with that. Only movie coming to my mind reflecting where we are going is "Idiocracy" Have to add.. small amounts work fine... I suggested to check if their limit checker is working not sure they still talk with me hehehe haven't heard since. Post Office also pulled a nice one. Have 2 offices close, 5 mins driving distance.. got a pickup slip for the Milnerton office... that is a 30min traffic drive send them a mail.. i am sure you can get it closer ^^ also took them 7 days to drop the pickup slip in my letter box. Heck.. DHL moves things to Europe or China in that time Not my day...2 points

Howdy all! new to the platform, this is my 3rd grow, second indoor grow ever and I and optimistic to share my winter grow, I've got a 5x5 which I will be using as veg & flower. Picked up some beans (5 fem Cheese from Greenhouse Seeds Co), from @Cannabist they also blessed me with some free Cherry Gelato CBD Fems and @Bay Seeds reg f1 hybrids. I might plant one of those CBD as I am a medicinal smoker. I am planning on running 2-3 plants. I Listen to a lot of growing podcasts like TheDudegrows and enjoy all kinds of plant growing! I've got 50+ houseplants and also enjoy growing extremely wicked peppers. As for my setup 5x5 (not gonna use the full 5x5 area this winter grow) Living soil (looking to do a buildasoil recipe) Lighting Ive got a blurple, some 36W full spectrum t5 led tubes and some full spectrum smb chips I am hoping they will get me through some time in veg I will be building a qb from digikey or buying one in the next month or so. Hoping to hear from all of you when I start my grow journal and looking forward to share my journey!2 points

Good evening @Adansonia digitata Love the report and grow so far, one thing that I might advise on, well two things. Your trays can stay if you prefer, the plants are close enough, as it is, you going to probably run out of space and remove some, being that they will at least double in size as you send them to flower. Second is more of a thank you, for toning down the saturation on the latest picture, the previous was so bright I put my shade on (good choice of photo edit app, same as me, wink wink) Blessings2 points

agreed with the boys - your pics need to be clearer. in the same breath, im not sure you are sure what to look for. check the diagram out below, see if you can tell from that...otherwise it may need to flower a bit longer. you want to see pistols, it is without a doubt the surest sign that its a female2 points

Well the cloud walker does have some mendo breath x purple punch from InHouse genetics in it. It should be solid.2 points

Morning folks. So I finished up with my second indoor grow and was quite happy with the results. So now it's time for my 3rd grow running some local genetics along with some international and established strains.. it's @Totemic time I learnt a lot from my last grow and have switched up a couple of things.. Soil - moved from Royal Gorilla to Freedom Farms classic (Very happy with this decision.. FF is a super stable soil with a very nice inherent nutrient balance) Seedlings - germinated in peat pellets as normal but for the seedling stage had them in 10cm pots for rooting with a subsequent transplant to the 20l fabric pots Nutes - I still have Seagro but decided for this grow I will only be running the BioBizz line (with some calmag throughout and molasses for flower) Lighting - for the seedling stage I only had my HLG 100 on and only flipped on the additional 300w grow bar rig 4 weeks into the veg stage. Genetics - so as stated I wanted to give some local heroes a go and half of the tent will be local. Seeds originally planned for the run: Totemic - Palomino (germinated within 3 days and growth is ridiculous - will most propably be the star of the tent) Totemic - Tortoni #1 (I initially thought this seed didn't germinate as it took quite a while for tap to show - 6 to 7 days) Totemic - Tortoni #2 (because I thought I lost the 1st Tortoni ) Inhouse Genetics - Twisted Helix Garden of Green - Girl Scout Cookies TH Seeds - Bubblegum G13 Labs - Raw Diesel (dud seed did not germinate... ) Ripper - Brain Cake (whack mutant plant. Not sure if it's the seed or initial rooting problems but it will be chucked..) Initial growth points towards 3 stand out ladies - Palomino, GSC and Twisted Helix.. the other 3 are stacking very tightly and will probably be bushy little ladies.. Germination was done on the 2nd of March and first topping and training for mainline will commence shortly. I still haven't introduced nutes yet as the leaf colour still looks spot on.. damn good soil that is!! Germination Seedlings Veg growth pre transplant Mutant lady Post transplant GSC Twisted Helix Palomino Tortoni #1 Bubblegum Tortoni #21 point

So I enjoyed working with the Slurricane cut last year, and my small sample grow of the chocolate Gelato x Slurricane gave me really good phenos. Made me decide to do another run and hunt out a few male and female phenos to push the F2 generation. Going to be running them in a mix of 1l to 5l pots, FF premium, and Biobizz.1 point

Hi 420SA members. There was interest in the work that I've been getting at for the last few weeks, so I agreed to do a diary. Any guidance, advise or opinions welcome. Grow Specs Mamoth Classic 100 tent (1m² total floor space, 2m³ total). 1 x 240w quantum board. I don't think this is enough light, I'm considering adding another once I beat SARS in an ongoing cluster fuck from 2018. 2 x Ram Oscillating fans. 2 x HIT150 inline fans. One drawing filtered air from outside, the second exhausts outside to. Substrate - 40% Coir, 40%Perlite, 20% Washed silica(I like the additional weight the silica adds to the bags/pots). 5ltr Letaba plastic grow bags because the dimensions of the bag was quite appealing due to space issues. This will be my last grow using Nutriplex fertiliser program. I have a pest management program in place which consists of yellow sticky traps and a neem application every 10-14 days(not during flower). Beans were germinated at the end of Jan 2021. I selected only 2 mothers roughly 18 days later. Moms at 18 days Moms were topped and grown on for a further 20 days, then cuttings were taken. There is only one really sleg image I'm to embarrassed to share of the moms before they were mutilated. Brand new cuts Total of 12 cuts per plant were taken from each mother. l Rooted cuts 100% strike rate. The cuttings had a 50% dilution of the Nutriplex veg formulation from day 1 and received a fluvic foliar every other day. Looks like it worked. Bagged/potted cuts 4 days after the above image the plants were bagged and put into the tent. They received full strength Nutriplex veg formulation for 1 week, no issues. Which brings us round to 6 April when the below image was snapped. Plants are looking good and new growth can be seen. Thanks for looking, I really hope this grow ends well. CRIT, ADVISE and OPINION is always encouraged. Negative or positive, your feedback is valued... Particularly light and nutrition department.1 point

So I decided to start a couple of new plants from seed. I want to see if the new genetics from Green House is worth a try. I am trying the Deep Candy CBD strain and the Cloud Walker. They look good so far. I was disappointed with all the previous stuff I have grown from them.1 point

Ahoy fellow growmies. I've decided to start a tent thread... I'll randomly post current grow pics. It's not a journal, I suck at those. This grow started in mid Jan, but because I tried something new, my girls took very long to take off and thrive. DON'T EVER TRY TO START SEEDS IN TEA BAGS! The last pics is where I'm at now.1 point

Sativas are notoriously known for doubling and even tripling during the stretching phase , tall Hybrids usally are also more Sativa dominant1 point

That is so interesting! I had no idea we could get that here. I see there is another option too https://livingseeds.co.za/IMP-Goggas?product_id=1312 video explanation there too (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUVfKIqGwIA). I'm going to try that if I have spider mites again. I think this is the one you are using FWIW (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahLNbQuqebU)1 point

From the Integrating Sphere test. 3351K overall colour temp. Seed to Harvest. CRI: 86.8. Using IS data in Cocoforcannabis.com calculator(Total PPFD), Estimated Usable PPFD 579umol. Efficiency: 2.41umol/w. Coverage 8.9 sq ft / 0.83 sq m. So up to a 1mx1m tent if you're not too concerned with the drop off on the edges. Perhaps locally, Mars Hydro FC3000 is a better choice for 1mx1m if you're looking to maximise 100% canopy and push higher light levels. IF everything comes together, I'll diversify and add more powerful units with increased diode count. But that's for enthusiasts wanting to have the headroom to push CO2 etc. This is a medium powered light for average growers like myself, and I would think the majority of people. Who want to save money on Elec, provide as close to 800umol across most of the canopy as possible(at the correct hanging height), be able to keep temps in check in tents from 60x60cm and all the way up. PPFuv: 1.90 - PPFb: 82.54 - PPFg: 249.19 - PPFr: 251.33 - PPFfr: 17.44 If I break that down it's: 12.3% Blue | 37.2 Green | 37.5 Red, with the remainder on either side of 400nm and 700nm respectively. Since Dr Bruce Bugbee of Utah State University has shown that green penetrates leaves and canopies more deeply than any other colour, sharing the energy with the lower material, my goal was to provide enough blue to keep compact in veg (6-7% minimum) and then maximise the boost in red and green equally, to best capture the positive attributes that each part of the spectrum provides.1 point

It also has a Humic Acid in there, and when I last used it, saw a huge difference. But now I make my soil up and cant afford the Heaven prices anymore unfortunately. Added, I put my Humic acid in my soil and fulvic acid, if that helps1 point

Update On Lights The lights im using is sponsored by a friends company. Im sure they are imported, I requested that he gave me a Burple and Natural light, natural light is the way to go in the LED world but burple lights have a place since they can add to trichome production more to end of flower. Back when I began indoor growing Leds werent good at all, it was better to invest in HPS but down the years LEDs have become more powerful & power efficient. One down side to Leds according to recent studies its sugeests we need to supplement Cal-Mag for plants. You also get alot more stem purpling with LEDS. Which isn't a big deal for what the LEDS are providing. As for the lights im using I would say they are not bad but they are not as good as the quantum range or anything using LM30B/H Below is the ones I usally use in my grows. I will be upgrading to a flower tent soon, so I was in search of new lights. I came across a South African LED manufacture specializing in grow LEDS. You can basically buy a custom made high end LED for your grow space I decided to try them out and will be ordering a 4 bar 60x60 with Samsung Lm30b, mean well driver & wifi. The price is around 4.8 - 5k which isn't bad for what you are getting. Once I have it setup I will do a review on them1 point
