@CreX thanks for tagging us. We have provided @Slartibarfast with the information he requested. We are in the process of making some custom PPFD maps and will publish this along with some additional information on our website once complete. Since we include a dimmer, we will provide distances for different power levels as well and for different stages of growth.7 points

Hi everybody, so out of the three Strawberry Cola auto seeds only 1 germinated, and 6 out of 8 russian fuel regular autos. Hoping for males. The russian fuels got a bit of lightburn but im not really worried, they seem to be going ok. The rest is just a few keepers im bringing back inside to reveg.4 points

damn dude, you really lucky to have a few roaming around by choice hahah I love their movements and mannerism could look at them for hours!!! yeah, Winelands, I used to see atleast one a week till a few years ago, ok more like 8/9 years ago, they used to be big colourful chonky bois, now they much smaller and most of them have neutral colours. guess it depends on area and all those factors anyway, I think Mr. Chameleon deserves the win!!!! blessed brother, have a good weekend!3 points

Thanks for your input dudes. The company whom supplied the beans and other interwebs searches claim 80/20 indica dominant strain. Time will tell I guess. Rad Friday further and a safe weekend ahead.3 points

I am trying to pay for my solar system.. and something rather funny occurred. When I try to make the payment on Alibaba, I get a error message back from Skrill, got the Mastercard from the guys. Please contact Skrill support. Used the card before at Alibaba, all fine. So I contact support and ask, what is wrong? Answer, nothing, all is fine with your account. Try again.. I do, same error message. Contact support again, answer.. na, all good, we can't help you anymore, has to work. So why does your system refuses the transaction.. ticket closed and not by me.. is one of those stories.. morons you find everywhere. But how you tackle that issue? Their own system sends an error, support confirms that your account is fully functional.. but payment still gets rejected by their own system and support sees zero problems with that. Only movie coming to my mind reflecting where we are going is "Idiocracy" Have to add.. small amounts work fine... I suggested to check if their limit checker is working not sure they still talk with me hehehe haven't heard since. Post Office also pulled a nice one. Have 2 offices close, 5 mins driving distance.. got a pickup slip for the Milnerton office... that is a 30min traffic drive send them a mail.. i am sure you can get it closer ^^ also took them 7 days to drop the pickup slip in my letter box. Heck.. DHL moves things to Europe or China in that time Not my day...2 points

Hey @PsyCLown thank you for that feedback on the other vape. To be fair, there is a learning curve to this vape too, and you'll have to get the hang of it first before you really have success. Where there is difference at least, is that the Dynavap is working better with a blowtorch flame than BIC lighter, for sure. What I liked about this, was easy to clean, and never needed a charge, and can use it at home without wasting butane gas to fill lights all the time, if you have the Apollo 2 Induction heater with you. That saving was enough for me to pull the trigger and go for it. Then the colour limited edition, had to have it and will not use it, as it's now a collection piece.2 points
-
Very cool, I have taken a look at the Dynavap a few times. I started vaping using a Vapor Genie, so also battery free and you use a lighter. Little different as to how they work. I must admit that I do prefer the convenience of an electronic vape though, I find one can be a bit more discreet with it. The vapor genie was not good outdoors / in a windy place as it worked best with a normal lighter and not as well with a jet lighter. That really got to me after a while. Also the inconsistency with the vapor genie, it requires a bit of skill to adjust the height of the flame - which is both nice and frustrating at the same time as you can adjust the temp on the fly, unlike with an electronic vape. Most important is that you enjoy it though, I was never sure how well it actually works though but seems it's pretty good if you're happy with it.2 points

So I've decided to give the YouTube channel anther shot, 3 years ago I had an on going battle with my accounts and after a few flags and account deletions I eventually gave up. I was only starting to get the hang of doing videos and was forced to give up for the unjust restrictions the world puts on this amazing plant But the cannabis industry is growing all over the world, especially in our country. I would like to be part of the movement and push content and try to change peoples perspective of cannabis . What I have in mind is do grow videos, reviews, live streams, have a few of you from 420sa on the live streams show casing your grows. Show casing breeders, equipment etc. Unfortunately I have no subcribers as from now but I would like to invite everyone to subscribe to the channel, I will post my very first video I ever did on it and basically start fresh (promise to get better at the videos) I will be moving into a studio and promise to bring alot more quality content. You don't have to subscribe but it would be extremely appreciated Click Here - Marzcanna 420 Channel2 points

SO this is my first grow diary on the forum, Ive actually been documenting this grow for my return Youtube series (After Youtube Kindly flagged me) so i will use the still images for this grow diary. At the current stage I'm about a week away from switching my girls to 12/12. The strains are tall plants, Blue Dream, Durban Poison & Pure Power Plant, in limited space, for that reason I've trained them and decided to do a 6 week veg. For this grow I'm testing 2x "1000w" LEDs which was gifted to me by a friends company. For this run I decided to test a theory that's been circulating around the net (especially with a certain YouTube grower) that you can grow in amended coco, i've grown in coco & perlite for years, measuring EC & PH, we know its an insert medium, and understanding how coco works and is used we can understand why adding amendments to it might rise a few eyebrows. We ll find out if it's possible. With that said I will also be growing in organic soil & we will do a side by side. First I washed and buffered a brick of coco with a solution of cal-mag for 16hrs The Amendments Alfafa Meal Aloe Meal Basalt Rock Dust Bio-Char Canna-Kashi Calcitic Lime Diatomaceous Earth Dolomite Lime Fulvic Acid Frass Guano (Sea Bird) Gypsum Humic Acid Kelp Meal Malted Barley Manganese Oxide Montmorillonite Clay Soft Rock Phosphate Zeolite Mycorrhizal Fungi 2weeks old At this point i had to leave town for awhile and had someone do a bad job of looking after the seedlings Abit of yellowing especially in the coco, I would think it was a lack of cal-mag and bad watering Veg Stage After a month I transplanted them and they were able to bounce back At this point I had also given them some compost tea 3 weeks into Veg I ran into a problem with fungus gnats Sprayed them with some neem oil & I setup some sticky traps. The fungus gnats were sorted out Where Are We At Now? We at day 34 of veg, some of the plants have very small growth in soil, cocos are growing well, as for the lights I'm eager to see how they do in flower, worse case i swap them out for my quantum's. Space is also a concern so I've done a bit of training before I switch them. Will Update in a week or 2, I plan to defoliate some plants and send them into flower1 point

Ahoy fellow growmies. I've decided to start a tent thread... I'll randomly post current grow pics. It's not a journal, I suck at those. This grow started in mid Jan, but because I tried something new, my girls took very long to take off and thrive. DON'T EVER TRY TO START SEEDS IN TEA BAGS! The last pics is where I'm at now.1 point

I must admit, it does look really cool in the heat treated rainbow colour.1 point

Haha, ahh shit man. I have had similar issues with the post office before, parcels being delivered to a post office quite a drive from me - but I have always gone to collect my parcel in fear that if I ask for it to be moved to a post office closer to me, I may never receive the parcel. As for the issue with making payment, I do not use Mastercard very often. Mostly Visa and have never had issues. I assume your international payment limit is sufficient? Alternatively, try a different card if possible or message them and arrange to make payment via Paypal or similar as a last resort. For interest sake, what solar equipment are you getting? I assume its quite a bit cheaper than getting locally? Even after shipping and customs and decent brands and quality too?1 point

I am in Cape Town, I'd appreciate that. thanks :) I've used Biogrow's Neudosan before and that was pretty effective. But I really like this option as it means I could treat during flowering if it was required.1 point

Seedlings don't require much light, it's when they hit the veg Stage (when they show their 4/5th set of true leaves or 30 days max) that's when it's required to increase intensity abit, depanding on your light, that can be around 20% strength. The best thing to do to remove any guess work is to invest in a par meter, they can range about 1k - 3k. If you don't want to spend that much you can still go for a lux Metter which you can grab one for R400, even with the standard manufacturer distance recommendtions with time the led become dimmer or might even have a factory fault, that's why investing in such meters like a lux or par meter takes out all the guess work. For lux traditionally you want to hit the following ranges Seedling - 5000 - 7000 Veg - 15000 - 50000 Flower - 45000 - 650001 point

The ladies have been giving me side looks from the stressful 2 weeks of training they have been put through (Shame on me) but have recovered and seem to be about ready for the switch @Marijuana Seeds SA Nirvana strains seem to do very well in organic soil & amended coco getting weekly compost teas. RECAP OF STRAINS: BREEDER: NIRVANA STRAINS: DURBAN POISON, PURE POWER PLANT, AURORA, BLUE DREAM I will be updating with a time-lapse of the stretch within the next 2 weeks. Will also update on the nutes i will be using for the bloom phase. Lets see how they do with the transition1 point
-
Hi , Orga soil will last the whole grow in a 50L pot , just inocculate woth microbes once a week and you good.you can add Boibizz Bloom or any flowering nute if you want but that soil will pull you through. FF Green bag will last 4+ weeks in veg and then you can do Boibizz for flower. So you don't need all the other amendments, I have used both as above and good outcome. Seed drop will be happening on 8 May 2021. So there is still a few weeks to go.1 point

So I took one leaf today and cut it up rolled a doggie and puffed away.. needs some more curing and it's a bitch to keep alight but the taste is surprisingly good and smooth.. The little Nevil's Haze is packing on weight. There's no real smell to her yet and she's lacking some frost. I'm still struggling to get the droopyness out of her.. Just as I thought she's perking up, she got cought outside in rain and back to her droopy self she went..1 point

Your title said sea of green, hence me thinking you going to run the net still and flatten the plants under the net, then you'll have serious problems. Must have missed where you said you flipped to 12/12 as I thought you in veg still. You'll still have side branches that touch the plants next to them, but you'll never get away with packing them bag to bag, not a chance. Added, there is normally a 3 week stretch, so you not half way yet through that. But you'll be okay with straight up colas, just not going to big then for the amount of veg and size before flippin.1 point

That is so interesting! I had no idea we could get that here. I see there is another option too https://livingseeds.co.za/IMP-Goggas?product_id=1312 video explanation there too (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUVfKIqGwIA). I'm going to try that if I have spider mites again. I think this is the one you are using FWIW (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahLNbQuqebU)1 point

If you flip to flower now, you'll probably just make it for space. Check the breeder specifics on the strain for the size into flower. Then come back to me. Normally, its double, but can be 3 times bigger too1 point

Believe it or not bru, i found the advice on an organic gardening site. The bottle contains 25000 mites housed in vermiculite, so i sprinkled a little in the pot and held the mouth of the bottle on the leaves that are most affected. Just did the mom's this morning before work. I'll do the tent tonight.1 point

I've heard of smoking tea bags but not this! Glad you found a solution my man. Did you just foliar spray with the product above?1 point

Morning okes. Decided to go this route with my spidermite problem. These P mites are oppit! Running all over the show, chasing down the spidermites, and yes, i watched those little fuckers flee for their lives... Sooooo satisfying. Could almost hear the little mite screams1 point

Well well I'm glad to see this thread, for the past 3 grows I have only used seeds from Marijuana Seeds SA, my current grow diary consists all of nirvanas DP, Pure Power Plant, Aurora & Blue Dream, all sprouted, service is good, delivery time is good, and the quality of strains are excellent. Good work guys keep it up1 point

agreed with the boys - your pics need to be clearer. in the same breath, im not sure you are sure what to look for. check the diagram out below, see if you can tell from that...otherwise it may need to flower a bit longer. you want to see pistols, it is without a doubt the surest sign that its a female1 point

Update On Lights The lights im using is sponsored by a friends company. Im sure they are imported, I requested that he gave me a Burple and Natural light, natural light is the way to go in the LED world but burple lights have a place since they can add to trichome production more to end of flower. Back when I began indoor growing Leds werent good at all, it was better to invest in HPS but down the years LEDs have become more powerful & power efficient. One down side to Leds according to recent studies its sugeests we need to supplement Cal-Mag for plants. You also get alot more stem purpling with LEDS. Which isn't a big deal for what the LEDS are providing. As for the lights im using I would say they are not bad but they are not as good as the quantum range or anything using LM30B/H Below is the ones I usally use in my grows. I will be upgrading to a flower tent soon, so I was in search of new lights. I came across a South African LED manufacture specializing in grow LEDS. You can basically buy a custom made high end LED for your grow space I decided to try them out and will be ordering a 4 bar 60x60 with Samsung Lm30b, mean well driver & wifi. The price is around 4.8 - 5k which isn't bad for what you are getting. Once I have it setup I will do a review on them1 point

Thanx I'm doing alot more training on the ladies than I usally do due to concern of space, this ladies grow very tall so I'm trying to bush them out1 point

I've had good growth with seedlings at 20cm @ 25% strength, once the true leaves are out 25cm @ 50% then kept it at that height until flower, raised to 40cm @ 75%. Light bleaching started at 10cm. Anyone else noticed an increased need for CalMag under LEDs?1 point

Evening growmies.. The stepchildren are showing signs of new growth and I decided to pot them up... normally when I see propper new growth it goes along with roots... well when I tried.. no roots yet.. so back into their little dome cups they went..1 point
