Nope. Not risky or worthless seeds at all. If I like a female I can reverse her, look for a better pheno of her, and reintroduce to a breeding project. It becomes an issue if you keep selfing generation after generation. Also doesn't need to be onto other plants for stability etc. If your fem generation from a self is riddled with hermies etc, it was riddled with that before you reversed her. Genetic diversity doesn't even enter my mind of thought when making fem seeds. Only when I work with regular lines. It's breeding for 2 entirety different goals. Regulars for diversity, fem for finish product6 points

I've had so much good vibes and gifts since joining the grow community in general. It's just awesome to see the generosity that does the rounds. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk5 points

Week 3 of flowering protocol Had an over watering issue which is slowly sorting its self out, so the plants are not looking as happy as I would like. The overwatering has lead to dash to much Nitrogen and they are super dark green, but not clawing. The nursery bags don't drain sufficiently and I believe this caused a "swamp zone" in the lower few centimeters, a simple modification will sort this out chop chop. Buds are developing nicely and trichomes are starting to form on and around the bud sites. The environment is something that has surprised me. I'm not using any device or unit to change the air that's going into the tent, just air from outside blasted into the tent and exhausted outside again. Left pic is first thing opening the tent this morning. Middle is minimum for the the last 24h. Right is max for the last 24h. I'm not sure if these devices are accurate, it's another thing on the ever increasing list of items to improve or get sorted. Canopy shot. Can see the coir is drying out, can also see the leaves are recovering after the swamp thing episode. I am concerned about the steady sound of the exhaust fan droning on throughout the night and day. Does a carbon filter also aid with dampening the sound while scrubbing the air? Thanks for looking. Negative or positive your input is valued.5 points

Week 12. Had a mini tornado (ok, not quite) blow through our shade house 2 days back. Few of the taller plants have to be supported now. These cold evening's are really getting the purples going. One plant is almost black. Don't know how to explain the smell but nice and strong. And frosty. Even more so with the morning frost settled on the buds. I'll post a pic of one tomorrow.4 points

Great thing you got going here. I was going to be cheeky and put myself up for nomination. Our family business closed for good due to covid, cash goes to toddlers nappies and seeds used to be expensive. Thanks to the likes of@Totemic , @Bay Seeds and some others generosity I've been able to enjoy planting. I'm addicted to this grow malarky. So I'll put a nomination up for@StonerZN . Good luck all. Don't want to keep spamming Totemic's picture comments, however I do agree to a point. The sugarcane does not produce big buds, infact so far all of the very frosty In House Genetics strains I have run have without a doubt been some of the most frosty strains but the bud size is smaller than other strains I have run. With that being said though, the frost of the Sugarcane is by far the best and most impressive. Pictures I have taken do not do it any justice, gotta see it in person to truly appreciate it. It is an Instagram worthy strain in terms of frost. I actually feel bad trimming the sugar leaves as they're covered in just as many trichomes as the bud is! So far it certainly appears that the frost comes with one having to sacrifice bud size. Big buds are nice, but, gotta break them apart to get them to fit into the grinder anyways. haha Not something I am particularly bothered with, I happily smoke the popcorn buds as well. Ain't nothing wrong with them.2 points

with that said, you can present all the evidence in the world and people will believe whatever they feel is right for them.2 points

@Totemic @Bay Seeds please correct me if i am wrong, but self pollinated plants are very risky due to the high possibility of producing Hermies due to lack of genetic diversity? The way i understand it is, if your plant either hermies, or is forced to produce male flowers via SST, the pollen must be collected and used on a completely different plant... not a clone even. so if you wanted for arguments sake, strawberry cough fems, you would take 2 female Strawberry cough females, the best 2 you can find, and then you treat one with stress or SST to induce pollen production via nanners or SST, and then take that pollen and pollinate the other female you have... then collected seeds should all be female as zero male genetics have been added to the gene pool from my understanding, all seeds that come from the self pollinated plant are risky and considered worthless.2 points

In the tent its all about making new autoflower seeds. 4 confirmed russian fuel auto males being crossed with 2 russian fuel females, 1 strawberry cola auto and 8 purple glam kush autos. Also started today in the germination dome there's 2 pineapple express fastbuds autos and 3 more purple glam kush autos. @Totemic I will need your advise soon on the sts kit and maby some tips on how you do it. Do i get rid of the males now and just do feminized or do you think its worth waiting for f1 regular females to s1?2 points

Hey Fam, To give back, I'd like to invite you to tag or comment below, with a members name on the forum, new or old, who has been battling and hasn't been as fortunate enough to have shared in the 420 spirit and sales, or may not be able to purchase seeds due to financial reason. You can even comment for yourself if you fit the criteria (please dont cheat, as I will be checking)(this is for those who need it). From these names, I will look at the likes on each of their tagged name, and bless this person with 3x free RooiBaard Regular seeds, from GSR (not Affiliated or given for this reason). Big thank you to @Marzcanna for adding generously to the Giveaway, with 5x beautiful Nirvana Chemdog Feminised seeds. I'd like to add again, something small. I'll run this from now, 420 too, till Monday morning, the 26th April. This is for fun, so please share and tag, spread the love... Thank you and bless you all Again, all for giving back to the family (Flowering Rooibaard plant below)1 point

Hello, I'm just starting a new project for the winter. I've managed not to kill some seedlings of a variety called Zain, originally from green gage. 5/6 have popped and are looking strong. Then I was given 3 clones of Big Buddha Cheese and the idea is to do a pheno hunt and find a potential mother plant. The other 2 clones I have are California Hash Plant x Blueberry from Dinafem. Apparently it's hardy and mould resistant and can finish in 7-8 weeks. I am just about to top the 2 hash plants and make a couple of clones from them. So far so good. Thanks for reading my intro.1 point

I got myself a Blaze glass bong and I am super happy with the purchase. There has been a little hick up as a part was missing on arrival, but Ashwin has sorted it out. I feel this needs to be mentioned as they replied and reacted very swiftly. Awesome product and awesome customer service.1 point
