I'm gonna take the gap between now and germination kick off to give you a brief rundown of my setup. Seeds: @Totemic Tortoni (Chocolope NL x Gelato#33 x Slurricane) Feminized. Lights: @Light It Up 240w Quantum Board LED Grow Light using LM301B diodes powered by a MW XLG-240-H-AB driver. Dimmable. Soil: Jou Ma se Soil. Local booi Cabinet: 3 of my wife's shelving units slapped together. 950mm x 950mm x 1550mm There is a cover for the bottom half of the cabinet which I put on at night during veg stage. Reason one is to keep the field mice out and secondly to keep some warmth. There is a second panel for the top half for total blackout. As you can see there is no ventilation yet. I have a 100mm ceiling fan that pushes 90m3/h that I'm gonna use for intake. Outlet I'm still scrounging for a pc fan or something but for now just gonna drill some vent holes. Hopefully inlet and internal light cooling and plant breeze fans will be ok for circulation. Pot size I'm still debating between 7l and 10l. As far as training is concerned I'll be watching you guys and then decide. Clueless on this front. Feeding and nutes, clueless. Let the games begin and I'm looking forward to coming out of this having learnt a lot. Good luck all✌7 points

My mother tent.. Germination Tent 150 - 250 micromol on the plants, 140 watts The Veg Tent 400 - 600 micromol on the canape, 480 watts draw. and the flower tent, right now one section is on "large plants" not running 450 watts but 900 watts on that section. All big ones are on flush now.. so soon have space back for the competition ^^ I let the cables of the QBs hang down on purpose.. if a plant falls over, the wires have a good chance to catch them if the plants don't grow tall, the cables don't hang down as the lights hang lower. Cam decided to go without the flash.. and I understand hehehe is very bright in that tent, kinda fun to see it that dark. Rest is a bit the usual. No power cord on the ground, no plug laying on the ground.6 points

Gotta try hey. I've had a years practice on how to do everything incorrect since I started my indoor venture. It's exam time for me.[emoji16] Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk5 points

Don't think we'll be doing a solo cup challenge. Quite a few people running that comp. An outdoor growoff is always worth consideration and we'll see how things go3 points

Didn't think of that. It is a vendor. Thanks. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk3 points

https://www.420sa.co.za/forum/62-reviews/ you can add topics here, i even think you can add a new category as well if it isnt as comprehensive as you would like. if it one of the vendors products, then i think each vendor board has a review section in it3 points

The one I use is from china, works super well and is very accurate and consistent. I think Hydroponic, takealot or bidorbuy will likely stock similar ones. Mine does EC, temp and I think PPM as well. A 3 in 1 EC meter.2 points

I'm impressed to be honest, might actually do more business with them. I'm looking at getting some space for a bigger veg room and I might get one of their bigger LEDs. So far so good and the price is very reasonable compared to other leds on the market, and the extra features are neat, i can save on some timers and space with the built-in scheduled timer. would diffinatly recommend them2 points

Thanks man. Trying to organize last minute soil. Bit of a challenge when you live in the bush. The guy I get my soil from notified me that the batch I received runs into a nitrogen problem later in veg. The joys of working with a developing local brand hey. Love the honesty though. Yeah. Battled in the beginning uploading in general. Was a combination of my phone and Tapatalk that was the problem. Got given a LG from the States that's useless here except for internet access. I call it my work phone now.1 point

Hopefully you can see what I was aiming for, I managed to run my whole setup off one plug. All wiring goes from my "control board" into the tent through the one vent, then into some electrical piping, then out just above the fan and to the desired devices. Never mind my lady frame sunnies, it works piele under the LED's1 point

Very nice man! I also did something similar... In giving my plants their own custom netting per pot. I staked the corners and made a double layer trellis per pot, so far so good also easy to maneuver and work with1 point

I know @Nibiru has thanked you all. Though, if I may one last time, thank you all, @Marijuana Seeds SA@Marzcanna@Stefan sincerely for helping me give back, and your selfless and generous acts. You are all exceptional people and family. Mr @420SAwhat else can I say, other than, thank you tremendously, for the use of your stage and hope we have added value to the platform and continue to do so. More, and bigger things to come, as this was only the start. Blessings to all my family1 point

Yes they came out nicely. So the crosses really came about from the fact that I had issues with the germination of the dream queen seeds. 4 from 10. And only one was fem. So kept a male and pollenated a clone. At the time that this was going on I decided to put my last slurricane clone in with that little project. So now I have enough Dream Queen seeds to las me a life time. And now I can play withe some of the slurricane x DQ plants. I also have some Deluxe Sugarcane fem Pollen i want to put on some of my clones.1 point

Slurricane x Dream Queen coming along nicely. Hopefully I have a nice female from these. This was a germination test. 6 from 6.1 point

@CreX thanks for bringing the upload limit up again. Used duckduckgo and hey presto. Don't know what I did but hey, success. Maybe it's because I haven't had a puff in 2 days. Maybe I should change my name to goofballdave.1 point
