  4. Got myself a keen bean, still waiting on the other two to break the surface, but this one is already looking power. Light cycle at the moment in the veg tent is 18-6, starting from 6pm to 12pm the next day. Temp is steady at 24C. I have only needed to moisten the cubes once and this was done with room temperature 5.8 pH water.

  5. So, the daily update starts with bad news.. my Pen electrode is a goner.. ^^ never used and gone So I first need a replacement part before I can post you guys numbers (Ph and PPM)... bummer.. good thing.. soil.. not really needed anyhow I also take Anna out of the comp.. to slow when compared to the first 2. So will only go on with Tarryn and Sisa from today on. Post is an hour late, had to clean up some leaves in the flower tent and watered all in need. ^^ Adding the animated font to the video isn't making rendering shorter either 13. May both got 20ml rain water And the video for the 12 May, you just see them grow below the dome. I cut the dark time, just a black screen anyhow. Lights go off at 2am and on at 8am. 8am I grab the file edit it and post it.

  6. Here we go again! So after a fairly successful last run, we grow again, but this time I'm switching it up abit going the synthetic route I will be growing 2x Jet Fuel Gelato from Compound Genetics and 2 x Crescendo from Ethos. I might squeeze in 1 special Headbanger clone gifted to me from @Dr. Green All in 15L pots with CannaPro substrate and will be feeding Mega Solutions along with the Silicon and Amino boost. I'm excited to see and learn how it goes synthetic nutrients.

  14. All 3 seeds successfully germinated. [emoji119] Will be keeping them in these net pods until they outgrow them. Currently they are placed just outside the veg tent. They will now be placed in the tent. Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk

  15. This. Instead of getting excited at a huge cola I rather get stressed because it's always the monster heads I end up chucking because of bud rot.

  16. it's a pity there's no way to really control RH if you're poor... fucking RH always has me stressing. One thing i have learnt in the past few years on here, smaller buds have less chance of developing budrot, rather have many smaller koppe. Seems to work for me.

  17. Week 5 flower. I still haven't moved the short plant up front, this is due purely to my laziness. I need to focus on the tent a little more. I can feel my attention drifting. things like, Whats the next run? What can be done better? Fabric pots? Was this SOG worth it...? The short attention span struggle is real. Tent is looking healthy. Changes have been made to the Nutriplex(now Nutrigold???) recommended feeding program. It's their second week getting the amended program, so far so good. Canopy starting to show the purple. The tent is a week or 2 behind the moms outside. Hopefully more colour is on the way. Buds getting frosty. Thanks for looking. Negative or positive, your input is valued.

  18. damn straight! but we need to move you over to the rapid rooter plugs like the ones im using... much easier to use, no need to hydrate the things, you can fit many more cuttings under your dome, and the cherry on top? - much lower losses

  22. Finally got to the pics this morning, and posting now Tent is the flowering section, open section is veg. Light wise you will see the new one with lenses over vs the old. Both fantastic lights and the new on is only marginally better than the old. I have had some proper results from the first light already. They both cover 80x80 in flower I believe. As the square side of that tent is 90x90 this will be perfect The 3 competition seeds are in the dome. They will break surface either today or tomorrow by the looks of it Looking forward to it.

  23. each knob controls a different circuit... it depends how much draw each colour draws... you would need a watt meter to determine how much each does. i dont think its split evenly - the red and blue will likely draw similar amounts on full...and the larger cobs may draw something else. if electricity is not a major concern, i would run everything on max and let the plant decide what is useful vs not

  24. Never used such a light... kinda cool So no background of any kind... would go veg 100% blue, 20% red, 100% white, pre flower 50% blue, 50% red, 100% white, flower 30% blue, 100% red and 100% white. 550 watt is a word... if you want to hang closer, might just reduce in relation. Did you got any instructions with the lamp?

  27. Temp/humidity/money wise. Flower tent is up 10pm till 10am, but is the coldest time of the day, or in that range and i can work a few hours in it. This really sucks as i work at night or morning, during the day is dark. But with the high humidity we have in CT right now. I stay below 62% at all time in the flower tent... that is my mayor consern at the moment. The veg/germination tent i just keep warm, need the sun and the tents to keep temp up and humidity low during day. The flower tent runs on 24 degrees, no AC on anymore, pure ventilation controlled. Just after the flower switches off and the time from sun down to flower switching on, still need the dehumidifier, same cost as the lights, hate that. Not to happy with my timer... i blame the weather and me being not as wealthy as i would like to be i need to insulate the flat. Will all change anyhow as soon as the solar system is up... other story

  28. I like your light cycle. I also do 18/6 with the lights off at 2am and back on at 8am. Good luck with the 2 ladies left at the party

  29. I have not experienced that, I soak mine and let them get super wet. I like water to remain in the bowl after the pellet has expanded. Although the environment needs to be able to get rid of the water and the pellet needs to be able to dry up slowly, which typically happens in my case and then I spray them to add a bit of water now and then. Gotta have a fine balance between humidity and airflow. Warm, humid environment is perfect for mold and bacteria etc. Add a bit of airflow and it makes a big difference. You could also try adding a bit of trichoderma to help with damping off and some other issues if that is what you are experiencing although I typically only add once I pot my cuttings.

  35. i fear that this light isnt as powerful as you hope. so in saying that, as long as you dont drop the light on your plants, it should be fine. rather vary the height of your light ... for germination, i would go about 1m above them and see if they stretch too much or not, and then lower the light a bit. and in flower you could prolly get to about 30cm without issues

  37. Welcome! 1000W with 3 knobs, sounds like a blurple light to me but I could be wrong. If it is a blurple light, chances are it is far from 1000W and is probably closer to 120W to 240W and not the most efficient LED light either. Post some pics and then we can confirm and advise further from there. Have your grown before or will this be your first grow? Autoflowers require things to be near perfect, if you stunt the plant your yields will be effected. Photoperiods are a lot more forgiving as you can continue to veg them until they are large enough and then flip to flower and still get a decent yield

  38. Looking good! I'd recommend adding some MPK to the mix for veg as well, although really up to you. If the nutes have worked well for you as you are doing them, perhaps stick to it for the comp and experiment afterwards.

  39. Ya not knocking you if you do. I also do and will be for quite a while as I bought quite a few pellets, but will get plugs next time is what i'm saying. The pellets I find, you gotta be sure to put just the right amount of water for them to suck up, or it can get wet, and that's what causes failures sometimes I think.

  40. If the branch has not died, I'd say leave it for now. Cannabis is great at recovering, I accidentally pretty much clean took off a branch on my one plant, just had a bit of the side hanging on still and it survived and repaired itself and produced great bud on that cola still. The break does not look bad, will likely fatten up that section and then see some explosive growth afterwards.

  42. ^^ I have access to a Quantum Flux Meter At 100% your TS3 reaches 500 micromol PAR light at 71cm distance... your 30cm at 75% is to much for your plants. If I would have a dimmer, I would test it.. but have none, so is also only a guess. go 45cm on 75% and see if your Veg plants grow faster, would be my suggestion. Or punch it up to max and hang 70cm above... that number fits

  43. I have used them before and will use them again, I use what I have. Jiffy pellets or plugs both work well I find. I actually imported some rapid rooters from Amazon when I first started growing, back then was difficult to find these plugs locally. Jiffies were cheaper obviously. Now the plugs are relatively common luckily.
