I have chucked the two EazyPlugs with the seeds that didn't pop and I have potted The One seedling in a 7.5L pot. I have potted The One with Gold Label 70/30 coco/perlite and the first feeding is the "first true leaves" dosage for GHE nutrients, halved, of 0.5ml per litre of Grow, Micro (soft) and Bloom respectively. I have also added some extra silicon at a strength of 6% SiO2 at a dose of 0.5ml per litre. The One looks so much darker under LED. I'm happy with it's health so far. Now it will establish itself before being finally potted in the 17l fabric pot. I am considering some ideas for how I will be training The One. Thinking of doing a eight-way manifold since I haven't done one since I was still growing in DWC.7 points

Hi folks, Nothing much to report on this side. I did the last defoliation for the vegetative part of the grow and will probably do one last defoliation before the end of week 2 of flower. All the plants are showing the 8 main colas quite nicely except for the stocky Bubblegum who only has 4. It might not look like she was defoliated due to the very tight internodal spacing.. The clones have only been getting water but from the leaf colour it looks like they are ready to join the nute feed with the other ladies. Will probably go for 1 or 2 or even 3 weeks more veg and then the flip. Will try to get the plants to be 50 to 60cm tall. Atleast in flower I don't really care too much for Eskom and their kak tendencies.. GSC Twisted Helix Palomino Tortoni #1 Tortoni #2 Bubblegum Tent view6 points

Space blanket onto the cardboard is also an option. Didn't have money for paint and thought I'd give it a go. R20ish from Clicks. 2m x1m Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk5 points

All three beans have now broken soil. One is a slow poke! Have only been sprayed with Neem and CannaLeaf FPJ once - To repel them pests from day 1, and to feed those leaves from day 1.5 points

Howzit guys, just joined here, awesome to have a local community like this sharing this common interest. I'm looking forward to learning with you guys! Thought a fitting introduction would be to tell you about my grow set up. At the back of my property I have a small 3x3m room attached to my garage which has now become the grow room. I painted it out, coated the cement floor and replaced the glass windows with plexiglass so that I could lasercut appropriate holes for my ventilation. I 3D printed the louvers on the outside as well as the 100/150mm fittings for my ducting. Environment 2x 1.2x0.7x1.7m grow tents Tent 1 = 1x BestVA 1200W (240W draw), upgrade will have to wait a while Tent 2 = 2x Blurple lights (180W draw each), again, these are not ideal but get the job done for now 1x Ø150mm inline fan for extraction 2x Ø100mm inline fans for intake (1 for each tent) 4x Oscillating fans Bug barriers Temp/RH Displays Grow Media Short story: Circulating DWC Long story: I built my own little circulating DWC system with a reservoir for each tent. I have an air pump that has a manifold for 6 outlets so I pump that into each bucket including the res, obviously with a air stone in each. To circulate I sized down the 40mm piping to 12mm and push the water through using a submersible pump. In the net pots I have my germinated seed in a rockwool starter cube and filled with clay pebbles. For nutrients, at the moment, I'm using TA Tri Series, formerly GHE. I got a silica and oxygen boost from @GrowGuru that works pretty well and I finish off with Ripen What's in the box? Currently I have 2x Dinafem Big Kush's in week 2 of flower in the the tent on the right and 2x Dutch Passion Durban Poison in week 3 of veg in the left tent. I guess that's about it for my intro4 points

i too experience some side effects when i go home... it is either my cats...or my weed lol. if i go into my grow with short sleeves and need to take leaves off my flowering ladies, i do tend to get like a mild deep heat sensation on my forarms...i dont go red or blister or get the sniffles, but i do feel a warm sensation. i like how everyone will rather take something over the counter than give up growing hahaha i love this community4 points

Hi administrators, my humblest apologies for the late update, I was going to do it two days ago (15/05/2021) when my seeds sprouted but I wanted more development before I updated – no excuses though! Here is my update from last time: *Day #2 (10/05/2021): Checked seeds for development. Also, changed water in shot glass. *Day #3 (11/05/2021): Checked seeds for development. One seed in shot glass split and tap root started developing. I took out the split seed and transplanted into a new container with soil (Black square pot). No progress on other two seeds. *Day #4 (12/05/2021): Observed two pots/containers for development (yoghurt tub and black pot). No new development in both containers, shot glass also had no new development. I changed water in the shot glass. *Day #5 (13/05/2021): Observed seeds for new development. No new development. Watered two pots (soil was getting dry) and changed water in shot glass. *Day #6 (14/05/2021): Checked pots and shot glass for new development. Noticed seedlings in both black pot and yoghurt tub are pushing towards the surface, moving towards the light, this is a good development for me. No new development in shot glass, changed water. *Day #7 (15/05/2021): Observed shot glass for new development. Noticed that the seed split and tap root is beginning to develop - I am planning on leaving this seed in the shot glass for 2-3 days before transplanting into a new pot/container, I will still be changing the water daily. *Day #8 (16/05/2021): Observed containers and shot glass for development. In shot glass, the seedling tap root is developing nicely, I am still planning on transplanting into new container within 2-3 days. I noticed that the seedling i the small yoghurt tub is developing fast and might get root bound soon/outgrow the small container so I am transplanting during dark cycle into a larger pot - round orange pot. The black pot will need to be transplanted into a larger pot in 3-7 days - however the plant first needs to develop more leaves and get stronger before I transplant (stressful on the seedling/plant). *Day #9 (17/05/2021): Just observed seedlings development, watered pots and changed water in shot glass. #NB: I'm using a CFL light (6000k 7W) for my seedlings and start of veg. I will later switch to stronger lights (2x LUMii T5 6400k 24W bulbs) but I was advised that these lights are great for seedlings because they are less harsh on the seedlings - light intensity and spectrum. Before flowering stage I will be getting a new light (LED Full Spectrum Light, 3000k 120W) to optimize the light received by plants during the bloom/flowering stage. Disclaimer: I am sort of new to the indoor grow setup but I've been wanting to start an Indoor grow for years now, I already did all my research in the past and currently, now it's just time to practice what I learnt.4 points

Soo, something which I thought of and was curious to get some feedback from everyone else. I suffer from allergies at times, since I have moved over to dry trimming I find that when I trim my body really hates it. I sneeze a lot, runny nose, eyes get a bit iffy too - popping allergex helps but the allergex seems to be rather short lived and only lasts around 2 to 3 hours. I should probably look into an anti-histamine which lasts a bit longer. I guess this makes sense as I normally trim, then hold the bud close to my face to inspect better, then trim some more where needed and with dry bud the trichomes do go all over the place and the leaves if dry enough break into smaller pieces and I guess its the same as dust and pollen and all that other good stuff which my body dislikes. lol Although, I have also heard of people who feel nauseous from the smell of cannabis - be it while growing or dried. Some only with wet / growing cannabis and some only with the dry cannabis. Some get a headache from the smell, or certain cannabis smells. The GF is like this and when I use to wet trim, she could not be in the same room as me. Also I have heard of some people getting a bit of a rash / skin irritation when working with their plants if they have a t-shirt on and perhaps get some sticky trichomes on them or if they are defoliating and are all up in there with the leaves and such. Not sure what would cause this? Perhaps someone knows and could share with us? So just wondering how many of you have similar effects or reactions?3 points

The ladies are going to be dressed with Jamie's Orgasoilux and I will dine them with Biobizz + Biodyne liquid gold microbes. The dance floor is a 1.2m x 0.6m x 1.8m tent and the lights are coming from a 340W rig of 2x LED grow bars and 2x QB panels. With a bit of luck, maybe the ladies will dance[emoji126][emoji1696] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk3 points

Thinking like literally a single bud on each mainline, like a mini bonsai. Looking for aesthetics over yield I didn't actually consider veg time at all so thanks for the heads up @CreX2 points

Great blessings to the one!!! i fear mainlining in the short veg time we have may not prove ideal...likely topping once or LST techniques will prevail2 points

for sure man! i dont mind at all... let me flower them out and choose the best pheno, hopefully something red and smelly!!2 points

I gave @CreX some fast photo seeds of red mandarin... curious what he will report2 points

I've seen a few old guys overseas saying that they searched for the feno that didnt have that smell and giveaway. Mostly on talks and so on, but the strains grown today are done so for the demand of public and market.2 points

I have a female friend that's like this. Even if she smells cannabis on my clothes from me trimming she would get nauseous. She doesn't hang around as much, probably because I'm a doos though. I definitely get this. I will sometimes get it even during full flower and my arm brushes past some buds and I get a little rosin on me. Thinking about it, it's been getting less and less. I wonder if the skin eventually develops a tolerance of it's own against rashing up. I have been very fortunate to not get the sniffles when harvesting. Sniffle times are usually at the change of seasons though.2 points

Awesome bud.. Thank you.. Pictures do not do her Justice.. I would love to know what your yield off that little one will be.. Thank you for the cut.. Hope I can do her justice..2 points

If you able to take clones and dont mind shipping, I'd be interested in a clone at some stage. Like the idea of something different and spice reminds me of gsc to a degree, some feno types.1 point

Ya this is definitely a thing, I have noticed many strains either smoking or just being in contact with have some sort of a ''chilli'' after effect! Personally, After a smoke of a certain herb, I'll notice some sniffles coming along, nothing drastic. However, being around weed a lot since almost forever, i've been trying to attribute a certain type of reaction to something or other I've been doing. The reaction i'm talking about can appear quite severe, almost like hives covering my entire body, not covering like there is no skin left but many many bumps and humps, super itchie and this all happens in the shortest amount of time, I was prescribed an anti-histamine, teeny tiny blue tablets that look like sweeteners, literally take one and all is better, but this has been going on for ages, and i'm sure its the weeds, just don't want to admit it lol. Another story worth mentioning, I usually tend to late flowers early in the morning, see if there is anything I need to do as with all of us, and this White widow in particular had a couple of dead leaves, I would obviously pull them every 2-3 days or so, and man after that, I could have sworn I ate a curry or something, SUPER Limonene!!!1 point
