Didn't document the runt being transplanted as she's not gonna be receiving too much spotlight. - Skieming to spray het with a dunkload of Epsom what your reckon? Purple Aunt is going very short & busy, not sure if I approve or not. Green Aunty is going luscious, but also a bit stocky. Will be setting up the actual light this weekend, it'll bring the stretch I'm looking for.9 points

Morning growmies.. So I am on day 22 or 23.. If I compare these girls to some of my other grows and Indoor that is but a few plants, I musy say I am stoked.. When compared to the contestants.. Well... completely different story.. All 3 is now the same hight. No feeding as yet but they will receive their first microbe feeding on Friday.. I'm not planning anny rigid feeding chedule or feeding at all except for a weekly microbe feed.. and maybe some seagro but I will wait for them to tell me what tey need.. Not very versed in plant language indoors yet but I am sure I will receive the guidance I need from the experts on here.. They received their first watering after transplant this morning..7 points

So let me finish this thread off with pics of the remaining bud. Bananium: Blunicorn: The Blunicorn looks very similar to the Slurricane I have and grew. The Bananium is closer to Sugarcane and Frosted Apricots in terms of frost. I will be running these strains again, however some are on the chopping block and how they turn out this time will determine whether I keep them or not. So far what is on the list to possibly be scrapped is the following: Jelly Breath Blunicorn Slurricane The LSP, Exodus cheese & French Cookies I have already scrapped and won't be growing them again. Cookies & Cream was a male, so never got to grow it out and the Lime Drops I culled so never grew it out either. Got some new stuff too, however that will be mentioned when I start the next grow and diary.4 points

So quick update now that I have had a chance to sample everything and finish trimming. OG Kush - looks cool, smokes nicely, very nice night time smoke I find. Yield was good at just over 80g Gelato - looks alright, what I would consider average in terms of frost. Smoke is decent. Nothing to write home about IMO though. Wouldn't mind it hitting a little harder or lasting a little longer. Yield was alright at just over 70g. I need to still take pics of the LSD-25, however it surprised me yield wise as I got around 100g dry from it. Did not look as heavy as the scale said though, I weighed it more than once. Smoke wise, it is ok but a little on the weaker side and was a bitch to trim due to the green leaves and purple bud and the bud structure which is shitty. The Pluto Cut, smoke is not as bad as I thought it might be but it looks terrible, the smoke surprised me actually. The way it looks is my fault though, seems it died and I left it in the tent so the colour disappeared and frost isn't there at all. This is the Pluto cut after a quick trim.3 points

They are looking well bud! I wouldn't say stand clear of feeding. Maybe look at doing a microbes feed earlier too bud, With the microbes, you want to get them in there as early as possible, not over doing it or anything like that, but you want them to establish themselves with the plants. Also I would not be scared to add some sea grow too, just little bits maybe half dose and don't have to drench the media completely. You will always have left over when feeding, and that can go into the garden or other plants. But other than all that, they doing GOOD!3 points

Small update, the drip tape has been removed for now if you have not noticed yet. These plants need decent root ball first, I suspect it can be installed this weekend though, they are growing well. Luckily I didn't cause any damage, but definitely saturated the medium fully, this was about a week ago, so its all swell now. Plants responding quite well to the topping. Have just been giving water since this last wednesday (they got epic+fulvic e+Kelpak+Biodyne), but I think a decent feed is in order with adequate sources of nitrogen, thinking half dose of fish mid-week sometime. I usually couple the feeds with molasses, fulvic extract, and epic, pretty standard schedule and not much difference throughout. And then in the clone machine we have Inhouse - Deluxe sugarcane (unknown pheno) and Ethos - White wedding RBX3 points

June 3rd - ladies got moved into 10l pots and into a tent. Was a bit optimistic to think they would have enough height between them and the light where they were. Light is hanging about 45cm above the plants and is going at 100% now.3 points

What's growing on growmies! I apologize for the late update (not that anyone noticed ) but I have been running around getting some equipment and systems for my next season (hydro with both synthetics & organics ) Anyway ladies entering their 8th week, I will start looking at trichomes this week, hoping to push her up 9/10 weeks. The smell is intense.. enough to give some people a headache, to me its simply smells amazing... Aurora PPP Durban Poison Needing some meat on them bones2 points

So I dont know if the mutant will be the one. The one I wanted to eliminate looks the best atm. But I suppose this is how it will be for the next few weeks.2 points

I have since fed once with 1ml per litre of Grow, Micro (soft) and Bloom respectively. This is now the full dose as recommended on the bottle. I have also continued to add some extra silicon at a strength of 6% SiO2 at a dose of 0.5ml per litre. I have not taken any leaves or even the cotyledons off yet. I am now eyeing when to repot to the final 17L container and also when to do the first topping to begin the mainline. Might actually top as soon as tomorrow or the next day.2 points

This is what I have been hoping to avoid with me planting seeds into the final tote right away! So far so good I think I'm sure your ladies will pull thru... Have you given them any foliar spray to ease the stress?1 point

Thank you appreciate it , No white flies at all, actually this grow has been the easiest grow in terms of keeping my IPM in check. Did run into fungus gnats at the start of the grow but haven't had any other issues. Think maybe I ll give her some extra weeks to Fatten up1 point

Brah tell me about it I'm not about to smoke leaves so she better put on some meat soon Ok so for the hydro side, nothing really special actually but running auto pots, will be running 15L pots for synthetic and 20L pots with valve 5 for organics. I actually started my growing journey with dwc so... you can quickly understand why I gave up on it quickly but that was a long time ago tho. Now because of our loadshedding stories I kinda ruled out DWC and decided to go with the autopots, from what Ive read and seen they seem to get the job done pretty well aslong as you keep your systems clean and do your maintenance.1 point

pleasure brother if wanting to save a few bucks and just looking to veg a few plants the floodlights that come in boxes that's for alternative use usually have a life span it has to fulfill and a year or 2 guarentee, just read the boxes. if it stops working in this time you just run in and grab a new one. tip, IP65 electronics are built weather proof and they last ages. you can literally mount them on a wall outside and they will work till you wana get rid of it. you just have to remember these are by no means grow lights and there will be 100 different ones on the shelf, you have to be sure to grab the right spectrum for veg. the plus side is that the wattage given on the box is usually more true (they range from 10w up) I usually suggest the 50w one as I have one myself, but I know the 150w one is most popular here on the forum. https://www.acdc.co.za/pages/product-individual1 point

Thanks for the warning, I won't be buying any now. I was tempted to go for a couple of the 50 Watters to boost my veg lights. Do the ones from AC DC last for longer than a month?1 point

Day 25. Transplanted into 15l pots with a 50/50 coco perlite mix because they were root bound and gave them ec0.6 hortimix nutes. Moved them into my 120cm tent and changed to a 150hps for veg. The last one isn't looking too good, might pull her if she doesn't pull through. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk1 point

Week 5 - Day30 (06/06/2021) Back at home and spent some time in the tent catching up and making corrections. HORTIMIX-DWC Reservoir is at 0.4EC and 6.0PH. Lost about 1L of water. No changes made to reservoir. Pest have definitely increased, Neem oil seems to have not done much. Thrips have definitely increased and also noticing 1 or 2 spider mites HORTIMIX-COCO Watered with plain water PH'd to 6.0, Runoff measured at 0.2EC, 6.3PH. No more changes Pest have definitely increased, Neem oil seems to have not done much. EHG-COCO Watered with plain water PH'd to 6.0, Runoff measured at 0.2EC, 6.5PH. Rewatered until runoff was 6.3PH (Have noticed some PH fluctuations here, going to water once every two days and monitor) No decrease in pests Not looking the best, but still think i can save her Pics to follow1 point

Lazy Sunday night post for you all!! Came home from not seeing the plants in 2 days and decided to clean up the lowers which are taking up space now and will become nothing... And be Chopped later anyway so why not now right? Growth is looking amaze balls on both plants... One is clearly ahead, but both ladies are very happy indeed. Please.... For your perusal1 point

Update day 2 of week 5 Nothing, just went mother tent during load shedding. And Video again just from 5 to 6 June.. started a top down camera, second one, this morning. Had time to search for the tripod and a second USB cable to power it.1 point

All got a topping a few days ago. Freezing weather in the Cpt but they are doing decently.1 point

Slight adjustments made thus the early update. I've tucked some of the top big leaves underneath the bottom leaves, this way the plant doesn't lose any solar panels and still has the ability to get light on the shady areas. Started doing the tuck as plucking a girl naked just doesn't resonate with me. I like my branches full of solar panels, I'll move and tuck em as need be. *check my humidity ranges, gotta love Richards-bay!1 point
