I gave the girls a good feed this morning. Malted barley ans the proprietary microbial blend and some nutrients. I will put them into flower on Wednesday. Flowering tent has been cleaned. Lights have been swopped around. Cannot wait to see them start praying. And @Totemic has just inspired me with some of his posts this weekend. It is hopefully gonna be trichoms every where.8 points

Day 48 The Banana turned purple overnight, no surprise there, not really a fan of the purple anymore From here 5 weeks max, 4 weeks minimum. Either way 2 weeks from now will stop feed to save on nutes and time, will then start looking at the trichomes and decide when to stop watering from then give it another week with no water to let the medium dry out. Might do 48hrs dark before chop, will see how I feel. might have to harvest at different times. Zkittle Super Lemon OG Banana Hammock upskirt photo Veg3 points

@Wayne502 We're all keen to help you out. What is the decision? Sticking with HID or going to consider LED? Is 1.2 x 1.2 the largest tent you are able to get, or could you get something a bit larger? Even 1.5m x 1.5m will allow you to reach 800g dry and in an easier manner.3 points

June 24th - day 41 - 9 days veg left More of the same with #1 + #3: lightly squeezing the branches before bending them downwards. Removing the odd fan leaf covering growth below it while trying not to remove much at one go. #2 which was the slowest grower of the 3, received an experimentally-more-aggressive haircut with only 9 days veg left. Interested to see how it responds in the remaining veg time in comparison to the other 2. June 25 - day 42 - 8 days veg left 24 hrs after defoilation: #2 underskirt shot Sometimes #1 & #3 swap positions so they take turns to get the first whiff of the fresh air coming in on the right. #2 getting the ginger-step-child treatment but silently I'm cheering for her.3 points

Saturday morning update. Filling out nicely. Mutant still not Growing that great. Will see what happens in flower. Gave them a good IPM treatment. Ludwig's spider mite and Broadband (Beauveria bassiana strain PPRI5339). Will be spraying every 2 days for a week. After that every 3-5 days until they start flowering. The reason for the combination is it targets spidermites in 2 stages of the lifecycle. eggs and adult.3 points

Hi all I've been contacted by a member who is unable to log into the forum via a Mac. Is anyone visiting the forum on a mac? Is all working fine for you or are you similarly experiencing issues?2 points

I think the RH is so high, you not getting so much transpiration through the leaves that would need that much water in a plastic pot, that doesn't breath at the bottom, sides and now the top with the stones. Willing to bet you have small wet spot in the middle of the soil, that will get stinky or swampy soon. I say what I think, and could always be challenged or would enjoy it too.2 points

you can also try some other browsers that should also work well. Opera mini, Firefox, to name two2 points

So I’ve come to the conclusion it the lights. Those are enough to keep them alive but no real growth. Shopping soon then it seems Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

This area is ideal for 1000 Watt HPS. 1.2 x 1.2 is too small for that light. You can get 800 g from 600 W but you need the right variety, dialled in environment and a completely stress free grow.2 points

We have another development on 420SA - Achievements! Participation on this forum is always valued and deserves better recognition. Here is a short explanation on the Achievements system and what it entails. Forum regulars will notice that you are now listed as a "Newbie". Don't worry, that will be fixed! Points The Achievements Points system keeps a running tally of Points. Members may earn Points in a multitude of ways. Essentially, it’s achieved by participating in the community. Creating a topic gets you points. Posting a reply gets you points. Even following another member will get you points. I will specify what other actions will get you points in the coming days as the rules are set in place. Badges Badges will be awarded to members for reaching specific milestones on the forum e.g. a member reaches 20 visits or more over 20 days.... 100 likes received... 100 followers... and so on... These badges will also be specified in the coming days as well. Ranks The Achievements’ Ranks system will replace the previous Rank system Ranks are based on how many points a member earns. Ranks display a members’ perceived value to the community. The higher a members’ Rank, the greater their influence because the more they’ve participated. Please note the current rank titles may change. MORE INFO TO COME SOON!2 points

Very awesome, I love the new system. Curious as to how many points one requires for each level.2 points

You can use the EM pictured or Biodyne 401 The EM is tea from worm bin, so basically what Organinc is saying.2 points

If you add the barley you will have even better results, and good topdress will do those girls well. 1-1 barley, all depends how you want to layer it. Id put the barley on nicely and then water the worm leachate over.2 points

the roots are strange.... they like the edges of the container, and the surface of the soil to about 20cm... when i check my dry roots after the harvest, i notice that roots love the surface of the medium the most and build the biggest roots on the surface, and next is along the pots walls. but definitely, the more space the plant feels it has to grow, the larger and faster the plant will actually grow.2 points

Ya definitely get some microbes in there, best form would be a worm casting leachate. If those are 20L pots, go with about 1/2 cup for all three. Let it sit there for about 12 hours, in some water you will drain our and use as drench. Mix the worm casting with a 18/ tsp of humic fulvic if you have, will tie up the nitrogen so that it doesnt get hot in there. Drench the leachate and topdress the strained wormcastings. Use good worm castings if possible. Good luck man.2 points

Day 40ish. Was planning on flipping the 29th but think I'll wait a few days. Plants seem to have stagnated again. Knuckle test tells me soil is damp and not wet. Temp does drop down to 13 overnight but unfortunately nothing I can do. Daytime temps not much different. Thinking this is what is hampering the growth but might encourage colour down the line. To end it off leaves are starting to take on a yellowing.2 points

Hi folks. 26 days into flower and things are looking good. Did a bit of inspection and feeding today. All the ladies have started pushing tricome development except for the GSC. Not sure whether it's the strain that grows like this or whether it's a poor iteration by the breeder/seed bank... Nevertheless all the other ladies are happily showing their flowering prowess. I will update with some bud pics of all the strains in the week. Bubblegum Twisted Helix Clones Tent view2 points

Day 2 Week 8 Update Got nothing.. and I copied the videos over.. but editing split screen.. I have to read up in my editor how that works.. Magix Pro Plus is rather complicated. Bought the worst editor there is I think... I will have to figure that out, when I have more time. Not in the mood to look into it at the moment. The software pisses me off very very much ^^2 points

Week 5 Update / Veg Week 4 It has been quite a busy week and I now wish for those 16 days I missed in the beginning. I've been trying to get as much done by the end of this week to allow the girls to just chill and recover the last week before the flip. I've had a few challenges along the way but luckily I've come out the other side (mostly) unscathed. My goal was to get the training done this week to allow them to grow out during veg week 5 and pushing them that hard I managed to break not just 1 but 4 cola stems where they meet the main stem , this has never happened to me on this scale before. After some intensive surgery (duct tape and support) and some time in the ICU (new QB light) they have all luckily managed to heal and started pushing out new growth (phew). I must admit, they were a lot easier to break that I'm used to. I can't say for sure, but I think the light that I had on them the last 2 weeks made for weaker branch growth, they looked a little more... transparent and watery? Since putting the under the 240W QB at 70% power they have become stronger and growth (and recovery) has been undeniably better and greener and just more natural looking. While that ordeal was going on, in camp Organic things were a lot more chill. This lady is amazing, I love the way she grows and I love her structure. I wanted to grow her out naturally but I also wanted to keep a copy of her, so in the end I topped her . I think it's for the best anyway, it would be a bit too uneven on the canopy to grow a xmas tree on one side of the tent A picture is worth a thousand words right? So..: T1 (Alyssa): Finished off her training (note the 2 splits), like a dumbass I only noticed the top one when I got home from work that day: Noticed this weird alternate node branching, almost like an extra thumb : She filled out and recovered nicely: View of her structure: T2 (Amy) Training session underway (can't see in this pic but 2 stems also split during training): As she looks now: Her internals: T3 - Janis (Ms Organic) Topping complete: As she looks now (from the top): ...and giving her best pose from the side: Besides the stars of the show, my tent environment also got a bit of an overhaul. I was inspired by @420SA's ventilation setup. It was a why-didn't-I-think-of-that moment when I saw it. I basically treated my 2 tents as... well.. 2 tents whereas 420sa's setup basically linked the 2 tents and treated the ventilation as 1 tent. Inlet in the one and exhaust in the other and link the 2 tents with ducting... GENIUS! With this method I now have a spare Ø100mm fan. So here is my version: Inlet in the veg tent, decide to let the air come in through a carbon filter for extra filtering of nasties: Exhaust in tent 2: Just as a side note I'd like to comment on the bug barriers that you can get from the grow stores. I firmly believe that these guys have kept out some serious nasties from my grow and if you're letting air come in from the outside, these things are a must. Check this out from 14 weeks of use, I'll be replacing these more often from now on: A shot of the new one compared to the used one: Sorry for the long winded report.. enjoy your Sunday guys2 points
