And my name is not Brian ^^ I just came here, looked around and suddenly i have all those people following me. OK, here the new thing.. NO update today I wasn't in the mood to get up. My first trip went to the shop to get electricity. Had 20 units left.. they increased price.. again.. 880 units for 2000 bugs. All pots in the flower tent.. except the 2 Tortoni's.. got a full feeding. Lights just went out when I finished.. didn't went to fetch the cam.. tomorrow next picture. Competition plants got nothing, enough moisture in the new soil. have a fun day, guys.. I go play poker now.. and get very very stoned in the process6 points

Another little update... I installed Blumats and a resvior about 3 weeks ago as I'll be away from my grow for a few days at a time, so I've been trying to tune it in(not that easy) I think I finally got it more or less but I've noticed 1 plant looking hungry and the dripper was slightly blocked so will have to check that regularly. The growth has been good so far, I might of just topped the Headbanger one too many times so light penetration is not that great but I've tried to defoliate abit. I still have the "bite" mark problem but it's not every where and I've kind of given up on trying to find out what it is. I've had some preditor mites on for the past week as well just as extra protection. I flipped to 12/12 on Monday so waiting to see how much they will stretch in the next 2 weeks.6 points

Update : ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIIIGHT *KEVIN HART VOICE* the buds have been hang drying for about 10 days and today I decided to give them their final trim and into the jars they go. I did do a smoke test with anther 3 grow buddies of mine and apparently they say it's been one of the tastiest buds theyve tasted, they could be saying that just because of being my buddies but I will say terpene profile on this harvest has been on point. Recap: At the start of this grow I went out to test some burble lights & do a side by side run of organic soil and organic coco Verdict: Throw away the burples and get yourself something serious. Burple lights are good for seedlings and even tho they will push you through harvest, the yields are far less than throwing in a QB instead. Lights lights and lights above anything else. You can save a few bucks on some equipment but not with lights, they impact your final yield tremendously. Soil vs coco? Well I will always go with Coco, there's already a few topics you will find here stating the benefits of coco so I will not mention it here, but in terms of quality both the organic soil and coco provided the same results. It really comes down to what you prefer and what suits you. Now only thing left is to do a smoke report which I will in 2 weeks after some curing time and also will update results on my other cure (Sublimation Cure) And with that said I think we can conclude this grow diary complete. I'm already setting up my equipment for my next run, will be doing autopots and coco, both organic and synthetic using some of Nirvanas THC powerhouses Thanx to everyone who's followed along as well as those who just come to peep. I ll leave you with some pics of the final product5 points

Hi folks. So it is time for an update. Currently sitting on day 30 of flower and the smells are starting to get interesting and the buds are taking nice shape with some sprinkling of trichome across the board (except for the GSC... patience is a virtue here.) The leaders in terms of the terpene profiles would be the Twisted Helix and the Palomino. The most pronounced of the two would be the Palomino with an exceptionally nice papaya/mango smell lingering. The Twisted Helix on the other hand is pushing some apricot vibes (possibly due to the lineage including Irene Apricot) For the pics I took a top shot of the mothers and then a bud shot of the clone except for the Tortoni #1 and #2 as I don't have clones in the tent for them. Something I have picked up is that the trichome development on the clones are progressing quicker than the mother plants.. Might be due to the size of the plants but I am not sure?? My buddy also did me quite a solid and sent me a split screen pic of my previous run compared against this one and I am very impressed with the difference, especially on the leaf colour and canopy.. June 26 - day 43 About 2 days after #2 got cut back: June 28 - day 45 About 4 days since the snip and #2 has bounced back pretty well... In fact #2 bounced back strong enough to get me thinking about what I could still do with #1 + #3 in the veg time left and considering the phase the plant still has to transition through before full blown flowering...hmm get the bong... A few bongs and a little while later with some garden wire + clothes pegs + tough love to the outer branches = At the same time as doing this training I cleared up some lower growth (as I'm typing this I can hear someone from the cheap seats at the back chirping my whole plants are lower growth... ja ja.. rustig rustig)...and I've tried to root some snips from #1 and #3 as clones - if I'm lucky I'll have another chance at growing these and push them further in veg. These comp plants aren't gonna yield a ton but gonna follow through with these 3 in the comp as originally intended. Note for the next growoff or for any noobs reading this - germinate on day 1, there isn't time to waste [emoji23] cloning is new to me but if I can just get 1 to root I will be stoked. Lots of great tips on cloning on the forum [emoji123] #1.1-1.6 and #3.1-3.6: June 29 - day 46 But wait I wasn't done with the garden wire... decided to bring the inner branches down to earth as well. June 30 - day 47 Some okes are growing a canopy... I'm growing a carpet [emoji1787] for realzies though, this probably isn't favourable for air circulation and proximity to soil perhaps increases risk of critters but they should stretch a bit once flipped. Let's see what happens. Looking forward to a FLIPPING lekker Friday.5 points

37 days in flower , so so . White Wedding Cake smells good and has the most thrichs of the three . Strawberry Fields has nice tight intermodal space and looks like one long bud . Zurple Punch loooong intermodal . They got a good strong feed of Fire Juice that I wouldn't recommend and no tips burns yet. Have burner them in the past tho. I'm happy with this grow, just over 5 weeks and another 5 minimum to go . Try totes guys , it's like a grow bed .or try growbeds , very healthy and convenient way to go with some restrictions that can be overcome.4 points

The taste for me, on the cheaper ones, had always had a plastic taste, and felt to hard to pull through. The IQ2 is amazing still, and dont use it nearly as much as I should these last few days, and do find the high more refined and quiet enjoyable over joints or bong, I really like the flavor chamber, it can change everything, and either leave a second or third load for the oven, and all while the cannabis is in there it gets coated and roasted in the flavor and vape of the hits beforehand. Then you can even put mint leaves in there, making the use of it in a crowded room or area, easy and smelling of a regular vape, not a herb vape. Even called a Mojito As for the build quality, I still cant get over the design and details in this. Smart path, blah, I go for 200deg and done, or boost for night night baby. Money well spent, I am feeling good about this purchase, and that means something. Volcano That is the true have to have now3 points

Very nice canopy management on the one and only. Well done. The force is strong with this one3 points

That is my idea, to get a movement going. Plus, following someone, who you enjoy viewing their grows, you'll be updated when they put out an update or general comment.3 points

The name is coincidental The trick, is those pot lifters, you want air to get the bottom, and with the pot on the floor against it, you get no air flow. He had that solved.3 points

interesting story here, I have a friend who dusted off some probes his grandad had in his garage, must've been the shit back in the day, cause it had this leather covered box with the name written in gold, some german or swedish name we couldn't read. shit looked expensive even for today. each pen still takes one single AA battery, this guy pops it in some calibration solution and I shit you not 100% accuracy, took a minute to get there as the tech was a bit delayed, but hey, it worked!!! I almost burst out in laughter but then realised it's not even funny, how the hell....? even when it turned on when putting the battery in, blew me away! this thing must have been in storage over 10 years, maybe muuuuch longer, the plastic even looks like it's going brittle, the probe was onviously drier than a you know what.... and the rule of thumb with the probes are "if it dries, it dies" this thing was on point with both calibration solutions.. luck certainly is a factor here, cause in a production line up where millions of the same thing gets made repetitively, you're bound to have that one in each 1000 or so that will be put together better than the others. it's the same with a defective slip up, sometimes you buy something and it only lasts a month, because of a slip in the production line, but sometimes the slip up may result in a better end product.3 points

They almost look happier already, and as long as you didnt hurt the root more than how they had been, then they will thrive now brother3 points

@Naughty.Psychonaut Thanks man , Growing is one of my big passions in life , having a lot of fun in the competition To answer your question (do I have anything to do with the Mantis brand) Yes I am the founder of Mantis and have an amazing team that makes the grow bags. Made by growers for growers As for the plant/pot stands, they do help a bit with aeration but is mainly there to make it easier to test the runoff (ppm, PH, and amount) per plant just to give me some guesstimate to what they are eating and drinking2 points

i feel its much over muchness. but with your plants as is, i wouldnt remove may, if any leaves yet2 points

I cant stress enough, nothing else but... Rinse with water and storage solution in the cap2 points

No soap, especially sunlight. Tap water rinse, before, after, then storage solution in the cap on the pen, and replace till next use.2 points

Looking back at the thread and where I started, this comp has turned into a “pimp my grow room” Thanks for all the inputs from everyone. A lot I have been planning for months, and this gave me the reason to pull the trigger. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

hahahah it's a nice coincident, hope he keeps milking it, looks like he's one of their ambassadors or something I got a whole bunch of those stands myself, love em, but they don't make my plants look like that I was thinking maybe the pots will help!2 points

woooaah good golly, sooo since May 13 till today I count as 49 days, it took you a month and 10 days to fill up a 1.2 x 1.2 tent with 5 plants in 15L pots? I get that clones take about 2/3 weeks shorter veg time than growing from seed, but this is impressive! plants are looking damn good too!2 points

All the girls got new homes. Found my two old fabrics and picked up a new one. Soils was damp so I removed a bit on the outer layer and potted into fresh soil. The roots were obviously not happy. Went from the 15cm to 3 gals. Quick photo before my battery died Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Weekend update: The "Green Pheno" is mint, just what a man wants to see come from his seed. She's chowing every molecule of light that passes her. The "Purple Pheno" is just behind mint, she grows and smells like a beast, but just not accepting the man iGrowDagga's intense light, showing a bit eina eina smaller growing leaves at the tops, she'll get over it soon. What's crackalacking fam! I have a few updates for you all. With just a handful of days to go before the flip, I have cleaned up the plants and taken Off most fan leaves. The remaining leaves will really take off and set the scene for flowering. Stakes and trellis will be added to support and guide the stems to success and bountiful harvests with fat unwavering dongs I enjoyed @iGrowDagga post with the ruler for reference and decided to include some of my own ruler for reference pics 5 more sleeps guys2 points

Update: Week 7 of veg I've been trying to see what combination of the nutrient mix was causing the white precipitate. So far nothing . I'll keep those for a bit longer to see if anything changes. I'm beginning to wonder if it was not just the silicon that I had not let stand for long enough before mixing in the A+B. Then the cloudiness a few days after the mixing could simply be a bacterial bloom. I usually clean out the res, but I've not been cleaning the airstones. This could be an issue as they are ideal places for bateria to grow. I've bleached them and will try a new res later this week to see. Feels like some progress at least, seems unlikely its a bad batch of nutrients at this point :) The plants are looking good, filling out nicely now. T3 is still the smallest of the three, so I think I'll keep that for clones and only flower the other two.2 points

These guys with their monster bushes, pfffft Just finished the training on The One, probably the most effort I've ever spent on training a single plant she's looking nice and level, kinda reminds me of umbrella thorn trees. So now I am thinking of when to flip and the final shape of the plant. Basically a week until the flip deadline so thinking of just going right until the end.2 points

Day 40 10 days to flip. Today they got watered with a light dose of blackstrap molasses introduced for the first time. 1 week of growth (minus me removing the odd fan leaf). I've been pressing the branches downwards by hand to try develop a more flat+even surface for light to land.1 point
