Update: Week 2 of flower I moved to larger pots and did a bit of cleanup of the leaves. The two remaining plants are looking good, most of the signs of nutrient deficiency are sorted now. Its pretty cold at night though at times, which is not ideal. But I'm happy enough with how they are doing so I'm not going to worry about that too much for now. I've started using the GHE FloroCoco ferts. Its a bit too soon to tell, but lets see how they do. However after figuring out what was going on with the hortimix I've also noticed a big improvement with my mother/clone plants. As @CreX says above the GHE is a lot more expensive than hortimix. I'll also only be using it during flower and after I have an idea of how far its going to go I'll decide if I'm going to stick with it. Perhaps only use it for special grows. I'm wanting to to a perpetual grow so I'm concerned it may end up being unnecessarily expensive. But we shall see. (I'll use a ruler in the next photos. hard to judge scale here)5 points

Time for my first proper tester ..... I had a bit before but wasn't cured properly or properly dry , this will be my first proper test . Samples will be sent in next week for lab testing and once I get those back I will post the report Ps . This was cultivated outdoors in winter with certain goals in mind. This bud couldn't cost more than R3 a g to produce from seed to bag including seed cost5 points

Forgot to share this mutation I got on a batch . I can guarantee only one seed was planted in that puck and just a fun pic5 points

Week 7 Update / Flower Week 1 All the ladies are doing well and they're busy pushing out their new green shoots so there is not too much to report on. I would like to share something that I've learnt the hard way though. For a week or 2 now these plants have had me scratching my head. They were starting to show signs of deficiencies that I couldn't explain. I changed my res, my PH wasn't the problem, temp wise I've sort of got it under control by having my lights on during the night so I couldn't understand what was happening and it was giving me sleepless nights . I eventually had a look at my ventilation set up and I realised that my intake was coming in from the top and my exhaust, or link to my other tent, is going out from the bottom. I swapped that around and in a matter of hours the plants started to get their colour back and slowly the deficiencies started diminishing, they're still getting there but a big swing for the better. I was shocked at what a big impact an incorrect air flow could have. Even though there was ventilation, just having it set up wrong caused havoc. Had to share, maybe someone could make use of my lesson learnt.. I also added a submersible heater to my res to keep those low temps at bay in the root zone. So these are the girls as they are now: Heater added:5 points

Group photo, Been getting de chlorinated water, with EM and Biodyne 401 on every second water. Gave a small shot, 1.2 or 1.3ml of Biobizz Fish, to a 5L water on the first watering, when they got potted, to start the ball rolling, as I had recycled my old soil from the previous run, and it had dried out between plants. Otherwise they are happy and will not add anything more, and wait for them to get new pots and fresh soil. Then they will need nothing but water and Microbes again. Critical is okay, just had a bad recovery from Surgery after being birthed upside down. Some clones too in the pic,4 points

And another one from the "Italian Icecream" ^^ I let those clones grow without any attention.. just the fertilizer doing its trick.. and not me fucking up results with bad training. OK, i had to put a support in each.. or they would all lay flat on the ground4 points

Aaaaah. Sorry to just drop in on this discussion but God damn I love the UFC. I stopped watching SA sports as it started becoming too political. Just my 2 cents on the fighters this weekend. If I had to choose top 3 fighters ever for me the Sugar show is right in there. That kid is on fire.....and smokes plenty of weed. Poirier is a champ and is going to face the toughest fight of his life. Connor is a seriously good Mixed martial artist but over the years the unsportsman like conduct got to me. He has been in so many court cases regarding his behaviour outside the octogan. I really hope Dustin humbles him and if not I really hope Nate would be able to in the trilogy. Tai tuivasa is also going to be an interesting one. And finally Dricus. Hope he gets this one. Have to support the local homie. I'm also going to try watch it live. Abit early/late but have to do it.4 points

It's a week later in the flowering tent for The One and I have raised her up to get more of them photon goodness. Are you pleased now, @CreX? Do you notice me Senpai!? Watashi ga tsumi o okashitanode, senpai o yurushitekudasai!!! Ahem.. anyways.. I have not fed her anything more since her last watering when I put her into the flower tent, that being "Growing" as per the Terra Aquatica feeding chart, which is 1.8ml/L Gro, 1.2ml/L Micro, and 0.6ml/L Bloom. I am sure now that she is closer to the light she will get a bit more hungry. Next feeding will then begin with the "Preflower" as per the feeding chart to start preparing her for the preflower stage. Here are the pics3 points

Btw I have had no hermie issues with your genetics so far outdoors . I have selected clones for an indoor run and that's where I would expect the hermie trait to show if there any. I push my indoor hard with Co2 and following the VPD scale2 points

Yip and that's why I love this plant so much , no matter what you do mother nature likes to throw you curve balls . We can guide nature but never control her2 points

Unfortunately you can't press hemp seeds in a rosin press for oil. On the bright side it can be bought easily . There 3 main oils I use to to create cbd oils . One is coconut mct oil , this is the most common oil used as a carrier agent. Unfortunately it could cause issues with people with a nut allergy , my wife has a slight nut allergy and prolonged use causes severe stomach cramps. Hemp seed oil is used as another carrier agent and works incredibly well and my preferred carrier Final one I use is black seed oil as its got great health benefits and I use it in tropicals a lot but is the most expensive.1 point

I might just chance it as there has been no growth the past week. Once I had the plant out the pot the soil seemed OK until I scratched a few cm off the side. Wet. Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk1 point

The roots look good and healthy, getting established nicely. Repotting may stunt them and increase recovery. Fabric pots will help the medium dry out quicker. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk1 point

Welcome welcome! We need more minds to contribute here I've decided to side with Poirier, I wasn't impressed with Conner's media presence and weigh-in over the last few days. If I like what I see from O'Malley this weekend, I'll change my tune on him. Haven't payed much attention to Tai Tuivasa, I'll check out his match1 point

Thank @CreX for this one! A "Wow" reaction has finally been added! ... as well as a "Fire!" reaction Receiving either of these reactions will add 2 points to your rank.1 point

Sheet! almost time for another update! just been having some electrical and water issues at home and havent been taking pics. i have taken the decision to terminate the smaller Tortoni as she will just get completely swallowed by the bigger Tortoni and will not yield much, nor do me any justice in this fine competition. cuts have been taken for another go and more veg time for sure! on the plus side, i am already able to determine female sex of my main entry, even though they are all fems, its still good to check! i am now down to one plant for the comp so any fuckups here on out will seriously hamper my chances of a great outcome. i gave the ladies a sulphur spray to make sure the Pm stays at bay. so far it has been quite a smooth ride and i am hoping that my methods and actions keep it that way. this is not my main update, which will include pics1 point

Morning growmies out of a freezing Northern Burbs.. The girls are doing awesomely and they have responded well to LST.. I am amazed at how sturdy their stems have become..1 point

Good day fellow florists. Time to dust this thread off. Made some progress with summer prep. Started a 6m x 2m growbed next to the tunnel for summer. As well as a seperate veggie patch with 6x 2x1m beds for the pretty redhead and her greenfingers. Started layering browns and greens with compost (240lt for our jojo bin) in between. Amended with rock dust, dol lime and bone meal. AACT will be applied to assist with microbial breakdown. All from renewable sources that would otherwise have gone into landfill. My low tech soil mixer. Beats mixing by spade.1 point

I have to agree. From the look of my 2 Tortoni's I have going at the moment 8 weeks might not be enough for the flowering stage. It's leaning more towards the 9 to 10 weeks mark... Here's my 2 ladies at 33 days (just shy of 5 weeks) and as you can see still got some ways to go..1 point
-
Read through the rules again.. I'm desperate for some more vege time so I'm going to push for the seventh.. That gives me then more or less 8 weeks flower.. She finish in time bargain.. If not.. So be it.. I'm not happy to flip yet so pushing boundaries.. They got a good neem spray and a good serenade spray precautionary.. Happy flowering buds.. Some tucking and bending going on..1 point

I did check , there where 4 seedings and 2 roots systems . They strange part was that even though they where feminized seeds all 4 turned out to me male . I also only found 1 seed casing so I am 99.9% sure I didn't have a stoner moment and plant 2 in the same puck0 points
