So its hard to take pics of the 3 plants seperately. But here they are. The mutant is the first pic. The the tall one then the normal growing one. The mutant and the normal growing one is the stinky plants the tall one not so much. I think its to be expected. The slurricane was a the tall plant not so smelly but seriously resinous. But we will see what happens later on.

Looking a decent amount healthier this week. Cold week up ahead, but overall happier looking plants. The one that I re-topped is doing well and probably the best (back centre). But front right is also looking nice and bushy and healthy.

Things are looking hectic, I'm not convinced it's all about Zuma, rather more opportunistic crowds of people who have been at home without work for far too long due to lockdowns and businesses flopping, as well as the truck drivers pushing against foreign workers. Although there are large swaths of people who genuinely believe Zuma was imprisoned without trial, which is total bs. His foundation is spreading the lie that is he was imprisoned without trial and they should be held accountable for the damage currently being caused. With the army getting involved, I hope it doesn't come to a situation like in Eswatini. The SANDF in these situations are to act in tandem with the SAPS but with the SAPS being stretched so thin (and in some videos, even looting for themselves) the army will have to act independently, and we saw how well that went during the initial lockdown last year. Marikana 2.0 anyone? Here's wishing safety to our members in the KZN and Joburg city areas. Day 2 of Week 10 Update They got 1 liter 1/3/2/4 (Grow/Bloom/Top Max/Bio Heaven, still from the same bucket) Plus I had Upload issues yesterday.. or thought I have, just took a bit. Video Flower till 10 July.. I cut the 12 hours dark time out, so the jumps you see are those cuts. I will also not use the work tent for time laps videos again, just to often you bump the cams, what isn't helping. If I ever do that stunt again, I run it in a separate tent, like I did with the Royal Gorilla's. I had to run the video over 2 projects o speed them up enough. Learn by getting a happy plant first, over trying to finish on time

@DamDave A challenge means you are learning which can be fun and exciting! It means next time will be better. If it were me personally, I'd keep the plants in veg as right now you will barely get any yield from them and you've already spent quite a bit of time and effort to get them this so. So I'd keep them in veg, get them right and happy and let them bulk up and when they are ready then flip to flower - the bud you get from the plants will be worth the effort I am sure, a nice reward after all the effort you're putting in. This right here is the perfect example as to why auto's are not the best idea for someone who has just started growing. Being a photoperiod, one can take their time and get get the plant happy and right and continue - just delays harvest a bit but at least the harvest will be decent. You want to monitor for new growth, keep in mind the roots will need to get established again and colder temps will slow down growth. May take a week or 2 though, remember to PH your feed to prevent lockout.

It's a week later in the flowering tent for The One and I have raised her up to get more of them photon goodness. Are you pleased now, @CreX? Do you notice me Senpai!? Watashi ga tsumi o okashitanode, senpai o yurushitekudasai!!! Ahem.. anyways.. I have not fed her anything more since her last watering when I put her into the flower tent, that being "Growing" as per the Terra Aquatica feeding chart, which is 1.8ml/L Gro, 1.2ml/L Micro, and 0.6ml/L Bloom. I am sure now that she is closer to the light she will get a bit more hungry. Next feeding will then begin with the "Preflower" as per the feeding chart to start preparing her for the preflower stage. Here are the pics

Spent some time going through HD's of tunes this weekend. All parties featured are cool as fuck!

Don't worry to much about trichome colour , I use to stress about it but rather listen to your plant. I have had some plants never turn amber but turns out to be an amazing smoke . If it's starting to genetics foxtail it's about 7 days from done . You need to not stress so much about numbers and technicalities, every plant is different and you need to learn to understand and listen to the plant . In a week that plant will be ready to chop no matter the trichome colour . So when you chop it and check the trichomes for a reference. I always recommend people keep a written diary , there's a lot to writing down your finding and experiences and makes it an interesting read reading back through past experiences . My written diaries have helped me on many occasions to fix issues and count them as an extreanly important part of my grow experience

Weekend update. I performed a little bit more defoliation of the lower parts and did a little training to spread out a bit.

100 bucks to see you do it

I have been using Protek Spray Film 10, but could not find it the other day and got a bottle of Effekto G49 wetter, then proceeded to burn my plans with it as I just drizzled a bit into the bottle and did not measure properly. I found the Spray Film a few days later. The G49 is a lot more potent and dangerous than the Spray Film I am use to but works really well, might consider just using the G49 going forward once the Spray Film is finished. G49 is easier to find as well.

as long as I am in veg I am not tooo worried about residue, because I have it anyway I already account for dealing with it by washing the plants. if I add sulpher I will keep it in mind! I make a special time to spray aqsf, because it's a micro organism I would rather itroduce too many than too little, so I up the dose to 15 to 20ml/L this is why I am getting residue from the stuff

No, that is great, it is such a good opportunity to learn. I'd do whatever you think would help you learn the most. And I'm sure that everyone will keep watching long after the competition so you don't have to worry about feedback later on either.

Thanks GLO. I had this same situation with a plant from a previous grow. Waited and waited for trichomes to amber and by the time they did the plant was practically dead. Smelled amazing but lost flavour and strength. It also Foxtailed but I didn’t know what that was or realised it was happening. I do as you suggest, I’ll harvest in a week’s time. do you mix ingredients when you spray? like mix the aqsf and something else in the same spray? I use a nonionic surfactant when spraying anything at any time, except for when I am spraying aqsf. With aqsf you wouldn't need a wetting agent as you don't really need the plant to uptake the aqsf. and all a wetting agent does is help the spread of the products on the leaves, helps to keep the products on the leaves and not drip off with the rest of the water and help the uptake through the leaves. 2 or 3 days after spraying aqsf I will wash the plants, because the aqsf will leave residuals on your plant, and you just need the micro organism that you've inroduced, Ampelomyces Quisqualis, to take host. another reason why I don't use wetting agent with it. This is the main reason I spray absolutely nothing during flower, I would spray aqsf too, if it didn't leave my buds covered in brown dust. this leaves me no choice but to be almost religious with my IPM during veg.

Don't stress bud , yes they a bit worse for ware but those are not even close to not making it . They will recover fast . Never spray in direct light be it under growlights or sun , you want the plant to fully dry before being exposed to light again

Update: So I have made a grave mistake, I was spraying some plants for powdery mildew and decided to spray these by way of preventative measure and well, Bad idea causei burned them. All the others are perfect except these. I am hopi g they recover. Only time will tell

July 10 - 1 week post-flip Left to right - 2, 1, 3. Ladies got watered with a light dose bloom and microbes. Week 7 Update / Flower Week 1 All the ladies are doing well and they're busy pushing out their new green shoots so there is not too much to report on. I would like to share something that I've learnt the hard way though. For a week or 2 now these plants have had me scratching my head. They were starting to show signs of deficiencies that I couldn't explain. I changed my res, my PH wasn't the problem, temp wise I've sort of got it under control by having my lights on during the night so I couldn't understand what was happening and it was giving me sleepless nights . I eventually had a look at my ventilation set up and I realised that my intake was coming in from the top and my exhaust, or link to my other tent, is going out from the bottom. I swapped that around and in a matter of hours the plants started to get their colour back and slowly the deficiencies started diminishing, they're still getting there but a big swing for the better. I was shocked at what a big impact an incorrect air flow could have. Even though there was ventilation, just having it set up wrong caused havoc. Had to share, maybe someone could make use of my lesson learnt.. I also added a submersible heater to my res to keep those low temps at bay in the root zone. I work closely with a distributor for Adama products, I got myself a jug of their food grade non ionic surfactant. stuff goes by the name "MCW EOS". I've seen people ruin a plant by mixing ionic surfactants and the stuff interacts with the products they wana spray.

@PippinTook As mentioned, if chemical is systemic then the plant will absorb it and it can remain active in the plant for a couple of weeks. How safe this spray is in terms of smoking the buds, I have no clue to be honest. The browning of pistils is likely caused by the spray. I'd say either chuck the garden gun, or keep it for ornamental plants around your house / property. Get some of the Efekto eco insect control and keep it for next time / just incase. Can be sprayed in veg and flower and works really well. Best to not spray 3 weeks before harvest though, always a good idea to do a preventative spray just before putting the plants into flower. Monitor the plants and see how they do Maybe try do some research on the active ingredients on the garden gun and see whether it may be harmful to smoke the bud on these plants and get a better understanding of how they work etc.

You are completely right about coming back after that injury. Even if he does managed a great recovery, that leg will always be a soft spot that opponents will take advantage of. He can retire a very wealthy man, the deal with Proximo Spirits for Proper 12 is valued at $600 million(not sure what his cut is) add to that the $100 million he made facing Floyd, money problems not in his lexicon. That said, humans who perform on that level struggle to walk away into the sunset. Will be interesting to see where he turns up. If there is a 4th fight... tbc.

Autos have nothing to do with light cycle , its a genetic code . Once the plants reaches a certain genetic age it will flower . No plant likes 24/7. plants need to sleep , so even though they will flower under 24/7 light there's no way they plant will ever be able to utilize all that light and go into sleep mode so you really just wasting money running lights for 24/7 . This will invariably induce a small amount of stress , I have always had best results with autos under 18/6 Just my 2 cents

FCUK IT!! Woke up this morning and removed a couple of inches of soil off the heaviest pot to have a Butcher's Hook. As you can see, pretty wet. Probably not a stella idea but replanted again, this time into a PnP bag. Heading to the big city (Melkbos ) today. See if I can find something to lower the ph. Amazing how a basic prob opens the eyes hey. Anyhow I'll decide during the course of the day wether to re-pot the other two.

Week 9 - Day61 (07/07/2021) HORTIMIX-DWC Ph was already at 6.5 this morning Added ph down (10 drops) New PH at 5.9 and EC at 1.1 Other than a couple of spots on the leaves that might have been there from the last reservoir, Leaves already starting to "pray" a bit and no signs on nute burn, so right now shes looking happy. Will continue to monitor closely.

The two that was LST(topped and Fimmed) stand at 25cm and the one that I left as is at 35cm from soil. They just got plain rainwater and last night with the flip they got some flowering feed and Probiotic. Veg room temps fluctuate fast between 20-26 due to the element heater , so growth stunned a little but , each winters story. But it's ok , it is what it is. Sooo here we go guys
