  1. Morning folks. So I am currently sitting on day 44 of flower and things are starting to take shape nicely. We have had a couple of very cold days and nights in the Gauteng space so I am not to sure whether that is reason for the awesome leaf colouration or whether it is the normal flowering fade.. or a bit of both? The GSC is still lagging with the trichome development but atleast she has got a damn nice smell so should hopefully smoke just as good. From the looks of things the Bubblegum might be the first lady to get the hehe chop as her bud development seems to be taking the lead. Already starting to see some pistils retracting into the calyx. I have to take the clones out to feed and take some nice pictures of the mothers and that allows me to take some flash shots which I really enjoy. Excuse the excessive amount of pictures but my ladies love the limelight Palomino GSC Twisted Helix Tortoni #1 Tortoni #2 Bubblegum Bubblegum clone Twisted Helix clone Palomino clone GSC clone Tent view

  4. So thought I might as well start a new grow diary. I have skipped the boring vegging stage, do any of you actually want to see that? I have also split the flower plants a bit - some went into flower around 27 June while others went into flower technically on Monday (12 July) - decided to give them 48 hours of darkness before switching to 12 / 12 as I had a bit of a fuckup with the plants which went into flower on 27 June. Moved over to a sonoff Pow R2 and setup a timer instead of schedule and only noticed after a day or two. So not sure if lights were going on and off every 7 minutes or if they were only off for 7 minutes every 24 hours or what was happening but it seems this slowed down the transition into flower Now a lot of these I have grown out previously, however there are some new additions. Also some new phenos of strains I have grown out previously, going to see which is the keeper pheno and narrow it down to make my life easier going forward. List of strains being grown: Bananium (multiple phenos) Platinum Punch (multiple phenos) Frosted Apricots Sugarcane Slurricane Slurrijug - I grew this out previously back in 2019 and it was good, this is a different pheno though... Blunicorn Twisted Helix (Thanks to @John Stonedwell for a cut of this, same pheno he is growing out) Black Cherry Pie Remo Chemo Will take some pictures and post them here when I get a chance. Got some other stuff coming up a well - but that will be for another grow diary.

I have had the privilege to have 4 strains commissioned so far and plan to do a lot more . Here some examples of his work and you can find him on Facebook and IG under Rheecemoonjava.art Let's so some support for local amazing talent. NB please note these images where commissioned for varies cultivators and the imagines remain the property of the cultivators , I have permission so share them as long as it's not for commercial use

  15. 21 Watts of cool white seems pretty sufficient. The ones directly underneath the lamps are starting to dominate the rest.i put the 6 biggest into 25 litre pots of old soil. 3 of them are potentially males so I need to watch them like a hawk when I flip 'em.the two small ones at the front are double sunset and Tortoni fems. they look really strong, especially the double sunset. she's already caught up with the previous generation of clones. They are both going into 1.5 L pots tonight.hash plant x Bluberrythe left hand side got another dose of mycoroot when I transplanted from 2.5 into 5 litre pots. Im trying to root these ones without any dome, heat mat or direct light. The humidity is between 65-75 and they haven't wilted yet. 1 x hashplant, 2 x garlic and 9 x big buddha #3. Perking up and starting to look a bit more lively. A bit of fulvic acid and 50 Watts of light is making them very happy ladies. That magneto torch wasn't strong enough, but it did a job.everything has got a bit more room to grow now. they were getting lanky when they were all squeezed in together.

  19. @Twix Aphen thanx a lot brother man. I have to admit in terms of looks the bubblegum is also one of the sexiest plants I have ever grown/seen. The leaves look like they were photoshopped. On the down side though her smell is not that of undeniable bubblegum. Still a rather confusing terp pushing through but hopefully she is a plant that will showcase the true terpene expression as we near the end of the flowering stage. I am really really hoping for the bubblegum to shine through. Next round I will be running some white bubblegum by OSG bought from @Golden-Goose. From what I have read this should be a more accurate representation of the bubblegum that hit the shelves back in the 90's... Who knows? Only time will tell

  22. Not much to report, day 11 of flower. Maintaining good moisture and we not leaving any plants behind. I've probably got the most stretchy pheno (must be the slurri shinning through) and also the most compact one (which I really want to nurture and make sure she still get adequate light - never know what she might look like). Onto the next couple.

  24. These have had a nice growth spurt since they were put under 50 W of LED. Touch wood I haven't seen any more spider mites, but I will keep on spraying before flowering. I haven't done any sprays since I let the persimilis loose. Rosetta Stone master kush garlic sorbet Spumoni I've cloned the garlic and put her into a 25 litre pot now. She has got some vigour and is going to need a cane for support soon.

  25. On the road to recovery. 2 doses of fish mix and 2 doses of Margaret Roberts plant food. They are improving every day. Epsom salts, fulvic acid, malted barley are the other things I added too. When I remember, I must put on some more kelp, rock dust and worm castings for a final top up in the pot.

  28. @Weskush that blueberry x bubblegum cross sounds delicious. One day I would also like to get as close as possible to the original blueberry. Heard great things about it. A bud of mine grew some chronic once. Was some of the best outdoor I have ever had.

  29. I had 2 Blueberry x Bubblegum plants last season and they were the most impressive strain that i've grown outdoors to date, vigour, pest/disease resistance wise and yield wise and not to mention smoke wise. Wonderful terps and a strong high that lasts. Chronic was also right up there growth and yield wise. Not so much smoke wise.Highly recommended

  31. Hey bro. I have high hopes for your lady! Pun intended. I gave a couple of clones to a friend for his outdoor run previous season and he planted it in a bed that the cats used to poop in. The cat squatted right on the little seedling and did a cracking supercrop job. He left the plant be and she recovered exceptionally well. Here are some pics...

  35. Welcome.. Yeah dude Autos are a completely different ball game.. I hate them actually.. Would love to get my hands on some Flash Seeds ginetics.. Apparently you can do what you want with them and nothing will impact negatively on them. 30 days longer to finish though but I like the Idea of not worrying about stressing them to much..

  40. The clawing is going now but some tips are still affected. I don't think they liked my defoil very much and my attempt to dry out the soil was a disaster move on my part. The leaves have stayed small after the plucking and some thrips are also joining the party. The two biggest are the hungrier plants so I upped the dose of granules, doubled up to 2 table spoons, gave a spray of Epsom salts and put in 3 mls fishmix with the last two waterings. I was given some 12 V strip lights and a pair of 80 watt t-5s. I can add some light for clones with the strips and boost the veg with another 160 Watts. Or even use them on the periphery of my flowering area. I'm prepping the room for flowering and think I might go up to 160 litre totes for th first 2 plants. My only concern is bearing the weight of soil onto the floor boards.

  43. This week's updates. Still vegging the two biggest, and the Buddha Cheese are still growing.I didn't water since the rains. Humidity has been up high, so the plants have been hungrier this week. I will give more 5 3 5 to the smallest ones, just a teaspoon for the 3 litre potsHigh humidity has been good for the root growth. The pheno hunt is still on. Seedlings are still alive Germination test on the new mixture.Happy growing everybody.
