  1. Day 4 of Week 16 Update Got nothing Tarryn Sisa

  2. Tuesday 23rd August: week 8 of flower. Ladies still looking good. T3 has started developing a purple color to her leaves. My research reveals this to be a phosphorus deficiency. It must be related to the nutrients I'm giving her because another plant on the same feed cycle as her is doing the same. She's currently on GHE Bloom 3ml/l I'll flush her over the next few days to try sort it out. Photos taken just after lights off tonight.

  6. I finally decided to harvest. The 1 Crescendo and Headbanger could of definitely gone abit longer but due to space everything must be Chopped! This was definitely a challenging grow, not being there daily to check up on plants and feeding has cause some problems. The Blumat watering worked great but needs to be monitored daily as I've had pipes blocked abit and those plants sufferred from that only noticing a few days later. Now time to wait and see how they turn out and taste.

  7. Here is Pineapple Fields 5 days before the chop. As you can see... she is a big girl. The smell coming off of her is absolutely incredible. Candy/fruit/fuel/haze. Probably one of, if not the greatest smelling plant I've ever come across. I haven't been this excited about a plant in a good while.

  8. They looking good. That's not a deficiency... Some phenos do purple as they fade right from about the 7 week mark

  10. Changing osmotic pressure is never a good thing, plants have to spend energy adapting to it. I never flush, ever.

  14. Ive decided to go back to GHE, also that I’ll be running RDWC. In my last grow with coco and hortimix I found something was a bit off with the batch, after using it for close to a year I just found it far to much effort then it’s worth, having to use close to 220ML of A and B to get the required EC in 25 L of water. Will rather just carry the cost burden with GHE.

  16. On close inspection it does indeed look like teeth marks. Luckily she doesn’t seem to mind it yet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. This is interesting. As mentioned I know porcupines do it and a porcupine is a rodent. So your rodent guess is probably spot on. Plus I think I can see little teeth marks. Nice one.

  18. I think it could be a small house mouse or something along those lines/mole/rat. Unlike ringbarking trees, water and nutrients for cannabis flow up the internal part of the stem, so it should not be a problem.
    2 points
  19. Like ringing a tree, Stops the flow of nutrients and the protective coating Not sure cannabis is the same though. Maybe a cutworm?

  21. So myself and @Dr. Greenpurchased a pack of Loud Cake together so I will be running 4 of them. Might stick in random clone but I'll see, 5 plants felt a bit too much in my spare.

  22. Yeah what the Dr did to those Headbangers was exceptional. With every grow we learn and hone in on the skills that will make us happy campers. So what you planning on popping next?

  23. Some more pictures. I was surprised with the roots and the growth. They seem healthy.

  24. Gawd damn! Would love to know the total weight in the end too. Good job man.

  25. If you keep the dome closed or unventilated, your clones dont need roots, they get what they need from the air, as it so moist. You can close it off in the first 24h and then slowly open or vent, more and more, so they seek food. Making roots I use old Dynaroot, and have 100% rate, and also not to leave them in water for long, just dip and go...

  26. @Prom really teasing with those exposed roots. [emoji91] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  27. The RH in the dome plays a big role. I followed your advise of lowering it by leaving the lid slightly ajar as my dome doesn't have any vents. When I used this process the rooting success ratio moved from the odd 90% to 100% The tops that I clone with are also relatively small reaching about 10 to 15 cm. With about one to two nodes above the cut that I fully remove with only the top tip remaining and those fan leaves at the tip getting a proper trim down. I also don't really mist or spray my dome too much within that 2 week period probably only about 4 to 6 times after the first initial spray down. Happy cloning my friend and hoping this little bit of input can help you knock those top cuttings out of the park

  28. Thanks man, i generally do exactly that, down to sitting in water and using 6 year old dynaroot LOL, i find the hollow stems of the tops often lead to the stem going soggy from some bacterial infection or something, so i add a few drops of h2o2 to my cup of water that they sit in for a few min... that seems to make a good difference, but its not fool proof.

  30. My 3 main ladies are looking rather happy in their new homes. My bag seeds are pushing through, I thought I was going to lose 1 as I watched pieces of the leaves literally burn away (I didn't change their soil, thought I'd see what happens to them). Is it safe to assume that original soil was hot?? Anyway, 1 of 3 DS seeds clearly wasn't doing as well as the others but looking better each and every day. I bet you'll immediately be able to point that one out . I gave my first dose of BioGrow, 2ml/lt of PH'd water. Water was brought down to 5.8 this time around. Leaves have become darker so I believe all is well so far.

  31. Hi CreX. I primarily only clone with tops due to the mainline that I run. No special process and close to 100% rooting success rate. I cut the tops and keep them in water for a couple of minutes till I am done with the one plant. I then use Dynaroot rooting powder and dip the stem in it. (My rooting powder is also probably 6 to 7 years old) Then over to peat cubes. I do remove quite a lot of leaves and any nodes that are above the cut so as to allow for a smaller leaf foot print. If the stem is relatively big the rooting might just take a little bit longer. The Twisted Helix cut that I gave @PsyCLown was a top cutting.

  36. I dont know many plants, that you can snap in half, and grab duct tape and join the branch back macgyver style, and the next day, she is praying the lights again, getting a bigger harvest on that branch too.

  37. Dont hurt the porcupine and just piss him off by raising your pot a couple inches. Also consider covering the bottom of the stem because the removal of the out layer will effect nutrient uptake, especially in the cold.

  38. Haha thanks man! @Dr. Greenis the man who guided me to this level, I'm still far from reaching his level(but soon )

  45. Week 16 - Day108 (023/08/2021) HORTIMIX-DWC Got back a little later than expected This is the current state of my lady Since i've been gone - I've had my girlfriend do a Once a week res change. Once a week Efekto spray. Once a week H202 spray. Theres some burn on the leaves from H2O2 and theres also some mildew on the inner leaves Ive installed an extractor fan in this tent now, to help with air exchanges, and help with the mildew issues Today she's getting a reservoir change, a defoliation, and a H2O2 spray. I want to switch to flower by the end of this week

  49. Human flight, totally awesome! I done my AFF course a number of years ago and really enjoyed it, had one close call, a line twist, almost died of a heart attack but went back the very next weekend! Would really like to do a aerobatic flight.
