Smell - 10 Taste - 9 Bag Appeal - 8 Potency - 9 Effect - 10 The smell has alot going on. Smells like fruit soaked in petrol with a metallic haze tang. There is a little grape bubblegum on the backend as the smells fades from your fingers. It is very pungent. I took this sample straight off a drying plant, and it stank to high heaven. Normally bud taken off a plant like that smells very muted until you get it into a jar for a few hours. Not so with this stuff. The taste is quite sweet. Like some sort of fruit jelly. Now let's talk about the spectacular high. I'm a fan of hazes, because of their beautiful electric high. This has that in spades. The first 10 to 15 minutes feels like a good dab. A nice soaring, but clear headed high. It starts to get stronger at about 15 min. It is still clear headed, but you get that vibrating buzz behind the eyes. It is almost psychedelic. Very focused. You can really become absorbed with menial tasks. If you're busy doing something, you become lost in it and the buzz fades into the background. At this point you might be fooled into thinking you're not that high. Until you get up and and just take a look around. That's when you realize you are high high high. LOL! Electric is really the best way to describe it. For me it was very chatty and energetic. My wife smoked more than I did, and wasn't nearly as chatty. This would be a great strain to smoke if you're going to see a live comedy show. Just don't overdo it. I didn't have any paranoia or anxiety, but I smoked a little less than I normally would which turned out to be a wise decision. When you re-up it pushes you higher and you get more of that strange body buzz. Easily one of the best smokes I've ever had! It is so refreshing to have a good sativa in the stable again.8 points

My Muse was over and helped me with the plant inspection. Had my cam out.. took some shots Post one, 7th I post the full lot and hopefully the THC tests. Plants hanging to dry. Tarryn is 250g wet, Sisa 265g. The mainlined plant seems to win. Going with Sisa as final plant. Looks the neatest, harvests more, bigger buds,... wasn't hard to decide.4 points

It's been an exciting week! First time Topping, first time doing some LST and first time defoliating (1 leaf off each plant, but still! ). I'm happy with how it's going, these plants have become a lot more "hands-on" which has made it quite interesting, learning curve has gone up a notch. Still just feeding 1ml/lt of Bio-Grow. Trying to find amino booster in my area to add to it. Thanks as always for looking, advice and tips always welcome3 points

Been a while since I posted an update here- nothing too exciting but things are progressing along. Potted up since my last post here. So far the plants that are top middle and bang centre are looking like the front runners to be the chosen one for project Xmas tree The bare looking pots on the outskirts are coriander and dill which should sprout any day now... trying out some companion planting which benefit the plants and I can also use as herbs for cooking Alfafa mulch has been added to the arsenal. Never mulched cannabis before but what better time to start than now, right? Always levelling up, or at least trying to! Gave a clone to a fellow growmie to spread the Totemic love and culled some stragglers which were forming new growth but just too slowly for my liking and with bigger pots, space under this light is limited. Decisions were made.3 points

Finally took some time to look at the girls. Eina. Cleaned up the dead bleached peroxide surfer wannabe leaves. They are not looking dead and seems thanks to my kak spraying seems like the buds are still mostly healthy. Foxtailing continues on the runt, but #1 seems to have been shocked into standstill, no surprises #1 #3 the runt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Some close ups #1 #2 #3 Tried using a phonescope to get really up close and personal with the trichomes but I just can't get it to focus for a decent photo. What does it take to be able to take nice trichome photos? I have an android phone at the moment, do iPhones (sies) have magic zoom powers or is this just not a job for a phone and a proper camera and lens is the answer? I'm far more likely to spend money on ph and other monitoring equipment rather than stuff for pics at this point but just curious.2 points

So far, so good. It seems as if the succes rate is better than expected. I see all 5 x Pineapple Chunks is alive. Both Chocolate Gelato's alao came up which means their journey will start on a separate thread soon.. There is life with Bruce Banners ans I am super surprised about the Blue Kush Berry that is alive. I bred them myself a long time ago. Grew some out once and they were quite a yield.1 point

No backup power as of yet, will look into a smaller inverter when funds become available, in the interim I'll use a few battery powered pumps (which I have laying around)1 point

The extra height saves strain on my back when gawking at them daily and also helps lower the risk of damage when the gremlins are playing outside unsupervised. At least CCTV is there to record any crimes that may take place for what that's worth Thanks for heads up on the watering... First time I'll be taking a plant from indoor to outdoor but yeah would make sense that they will work through water at a faster rate outside. I've been thinking of approaching the transition to outside slowly. When days are a bit warmer I'll start taking the plants outside and then bring them back inside overnight. Do that for a week or 2 and then leave them out in the wild for good. This approach of bringing the plants in and out of the veg tent makes me a bit wary of bringing goggas into my tent - hence companion plants and buddi spray(s) are part of the preventative plan.1 point

Cool, I would recommend staying away from dry nutes because of distribution issues when you water. Busy deciding between a coco dtw system and a rdwc system, will most probably go with the coco drip because I don't have backup when eskom eventually decides to loadshed again. Yes hand watered. Exclusively used flora micro and bloom during flower. I want to try my hand at slow release dry nutes but also on the fence as i experienced how quick a deficiency can be corrected with salt nutes Sent from my VOG-L09 using Tapatalk1 point

Nice that you give them a chair, far more comfortable compared to the hard, cold, ground. Last season looked good, obviously may need to water more often with them being outside, but I am sure you are aware of this. Cannot wait to see these monsters!1 point

Yep I’ll be dropping 50mm sphere airstones into each. I’ll be doing some new clones tomorrow so when they all rooted they’ll go in. Thinking of either pancake stompers, sugarcane or platinum punch… but will have to see.1 point

New changes to manifold and other leaks resolved. Will hopefully pressure and water test tomorrow (if our area has water again -fml).1 point

Hi folks. I got an email from @Cannabist confirming some massive savings on @Totemic genetics. I think this is perfectly timed for all the growers looking at the outdoor season with Spring on our doorstep. Support some local and check out what's on offer. Very good prices for some proper genetics. Happy growing folks1 point

Day 109 of the grow 4th day into week 9 of flower On the home stretch now. Inspecting trichomes with the loupe and on the buds they are milky and clear but mostly milky. Only finding a few ambers on the sugar leaves. Think we might be on track to chop at 10 weeks which would be 10th September. Let's go! #1 #2 purple all round now. Bud shape distinctly lankier than #1 and #3 which seem to be more similar to one another than this odd ball. 3# Been keeping an eye on the lower branches where things are a bit more cluttered (my baaaad, its one of the many things I've taken note of from others in this grow off that I will do a better job of in future)...and at risk of jinxing it... so far the buddi all rounder spray is doing what it says on the bottle despite my laziness with defoilation! Been a cold week, dipping as low as 13°C, the humidity spikes are from me taking the sensor out the tent to reconnect to network when I was playing around (neek rond) with the WiFi. It's just a fan leaf... but the colours [emoji7] flush mode, blush mode. Day 20 since I started with COVID symptoms and my taste and smell are returning which I'm very thankful for - shit is smelling fantastic in here. I almost wanna say it smells like almond essence?1 point

Decided to rebuild the control manifold and a few mods and this is the final product. Currently filling to test entire system for leaks, how I’ll drain it is another days problem.1 point

Those plants look amazing dude. Well done on recovering them. I can now see that it is a 1.2x0.6m tent. What are your plans? You going to flower all 6 plants in there?1 point

Today is Flower Day 60 These pics were taken on Flower Day 57 (Friday 27 Aug) but will try my best to post pics from today later Below is Tortoni #2 and #3. I'm not gonna bother with #1 as she's a bit of runt and a bit nasty compared to these 2. I'd say #2 is just about finished. She has started to foxtail slightly but not bad at all. I'll be checking her trichs tonight #2 #31 point

The only way to counter that as a small guy would be to grow the dankest bud that everybody wants a piece of and sell it boutique style. Commercialization comes with uniformity and meh-ness. As a small time grower you would have the ability to focus on the finer details and not on scale, outclassing big commerce. Grow the best damn niche shit you can and put the utmost focus on absolute quality so that you can have people banging on your door for more. My1 point

Sir, I can neither confirm nor deny the possibility that you are in-fact tripping balls (may the odds forever be in your favour)... but yes that is indeed ducting coming through the light/between the lights intake fan sending fresh air onto the plants. Small oscillating fan bottom right out of frame to circulate air back up to the extraction fan at the top left. Hmm... very good point... so you say an even bigger pot??? I will have to search far and wide... and also apply for a small bond to finance the soil1 point
