They've put on a lot of chunk the past few day's. Smelling absolute bonkers stuff man, I don't have the ability to describe terps like Jesus's sweat and 2-stroke on a rainy day, so I'll rather just say it's like nothing I've smelt before. @Totemic The seeds are fire yo, doubted the one plant all the way and now she is the most beautiful, spear shaped harddd branches of dagga. Week 15 Update / Flower Week 9 Had some PM creep in in a few spots and decided to use PapaJ's KHCO3 and it seems to have been effective, I realise it will rear it's ugly head again but I hope to keep it under control until harvest. So far so good... Also made a 2x rookie mistakes this past week in the hydro res and it could come back to haunt me, 1) I bought the wrong Micro for my water. I use RO water but bought the hard water Micro which has less cal/mag in, caught it in the end and countered with CalMag, 2) On top of that I swapped the Micro and Grow dosages and only realised 10 days later. Eish, I guess it is what it is. I did a flush with FlashKleen over the weekend and changed the res to Ripen. The ladies are doing good overall and I think it's the last little dash to the finish line. T3 has had such a good run though. If the end result is as good as she grows I'd love to do a grow of just her and be able to get the light where I need it. The hydro ladies are still going to need some time to finish off but again, T2 is such a strong plant she has big node spacing but if you could concentrate your efforts into just her needs she could easily stack those spaces. Enough rant, let's get to it: Group photo: T1 - back right: T2 - back left: T3 - front left - I think this is the star of this show so far:8 points

So a bit of an update, took these photos on Saturday but didn't get a chance to post them until now - been busy trimming some plants which came down. Twisted Helix: Bananium: Frosted Apricots: Sugarcane: Really excited to take these plants down! Some new ones which I have yet to try myself as well.8 points

So we are into week 10 of flower. I gave the ladies 2 feedings of banana tea and molasses last week, and I feel like they are starting to bulk up nicely too. Took some trichome shots as well, they are starting to go cloudy but overall still clear. So we still have some time.8 points

Ok these should be the last pics. 68 days of Flower. The one pheno is milky and the other has some orange trichomes already. I might the one for another couple of days or a week. But it is time for some new flowering plants.8 points

Hi, Iβm very satisfied with my lady, those buds(50) are getting fleshy and looking healthy, suppose another 2 to 3 weeks before harvest. Well my first indoor grow and learned quite a lot7 points

Final tally and a small report, better late than never as they say I stand quite firm on only smoking the bud once reached 62% RH inside the jars, sometimes this happens before 5 weeks of cure, in that case I will wait out the 5 weeks before smoking and if 5 weeks have passed and I am not on 62% yet I leave the buds out for 24hrs and back in the jar for 24hrs and repeat till 62% before first smoke. Zkittle 3 I have not smoked yet, so only looks and smell report there. ZKITTLE #1 - Just by the looks of it, I would say this pheno is 60%Indica leaning and 40%Sativa. Whole plant was quite dense, but the buds grew quite long, not too dense and there's a sativa terpene overtone that cannot be overlooked. Smoke taste gets better and the effects get stronger every day still. Very quickly reminded of its indica properties once smoked, can feel quite a body melt set in and muscles relax, mind goes void of all thoughts. calming and relaxing effect. This plant made a 10.98g bud. YIELD = 69g ZKITTLE #2 - Here we have an even more Indica leaning pheno, I would say around 70%Indica and 30%Sativa. Much smaller plant and buds, smell is more diesel dankness than her sister, but still got that sour sweetness to it that kinda rings that Zkittle bell, when I open the jars my mouth salivates like when you're about to eat some sour sweets, just like when you got a bunch of zkittles in your mouth. Effects are mostly indica-like, because of the lack of limonene and sativa associated terpenes my mind does not get tricked into thinking it has energy at all, so yeah mostly a relaxer this one. YIELD = 67g ZKITTLE #3 - I like this one the best out of the 3 phenos. I am not for conventional bag appeal, to me this bud looks damn good. I don't want a super dense bud that indicates a lot of indica genes. This pheno looks around 30%Indica and 70%Sativa. Plant was a stretcher, tallest of the bunch, she also turned a little purple which I am not the biggest fan of, but it suits her. she made long thin buds, I thought she was gona yield the least of the 3 phenos because of how she looked, but typical to how they are the sativa leaning plant yielded more than the indica leaning varieties. The smell is pure zkittles, sweet sour uplifting refreshing smell coming from her tricking my mind even further into thinking I got a heap of energy. No smoke and effect report yet. YIELD = 84g SOUR LEMON OG - What can I say, I fell inlove the day I chopped her down, got hit in the face with a smell of lemons that makes my nose run. Opens up the airways! Really proud of this plant, I was looking for something with a little zest and she provided!!! For a sativa dominant strain she grew quite small, but true to their behaviour the buds never got too dense. The smoke taste and effect is something to write home about, earthy undertone with a citrus powerpunch overtone, my eyes widen when I smoke her and I certainly feel awake for the first 4 to 6 hours after smoking, if that's my mind being tricked cauze I like the strain so much or if it really is the sativa traits, I wouldn't be able to say. but I LOVE this strain. YIELD = 73g BANANA HAMMOCK - The hard hitter in my stable at the moment! Very strong indica here, couple nights ago during the week I woke up in the living room at a random time past midnight with half a joint next to my hand. Had to try and remember when I even lit the thing, next morning I almost overslept. Smell and taste is exactly alike, creamy vanilla ice cream with a hidden fruity tone, might still come out over time hopefully as I am not toooo fond of the creamy smell... think the purple has something to do with it. Tried getting a good photo, but my photography skills are non existent so none of the shots I got does the flower justice, so I took a few Probably need better equipment too. YIELD = 63g There is just about 10g mix of all the plants' larfy popcorn buds that I will put with the 40g of sugar leaf, gona make some dry sift the old school Afghani way. TOTAL YIELD = 365g smokable buds LIGHT TRUE WATT = 310w 140L root space, FF premium classic living soil, biobizz organic nutrients with few organic amendments here and there, 1m x 1m x 2m flower space, canopy started 15cm from pot and highest point of the canopy reached 45cm from the pot. Now time to push those numbers! This is already an improvement on my previous grow and I have to say with the little over 1g a watt (I know that doesn't mean cery much) I am quite the happy camper always room for more improvement and room to grow is endless.6 points

Day 63 in flower ! #1- This one will be my chosen one , she was topped. Plain Coco/peatmoss/perlite with Elemental Blend and 15% wormcasting/compost. Plain rainwater and Fire Juice at 3ml/L (2ml is recommended) , no nuteburn on her and nice tight colas. #2- Different pheno , smaller buds and rocket shaped. She was Fimmed. Elemental Blend as above mixed 50/50 with FF Premium(Greenbag). She got some nuteburn as you can see. #3-Also different pheno , looks like foxtailing . She was left to do her Xmas tree look. No nuteburn on her. I like her also. Yield should be more than other 2 . Pics #1 , #2 and #3 Sent from my Hisense Infinity H50 using Tapatalk5 points

Week 9 done and now into the 10th and (I expect) final week of flower. Gave 2L straight water each last night and I expect that to be the last watering for #1 and #3. Unsure about #2 at the moment, she might go a few days longer if she wants to swell. 31 Aug - 5 Sep: #1: #2: #3:4 points

The one with the yellowing leaves is not a problem, it is not uncommon for some of the older leaves to yellow and sometimes even die and dry up a bit while waiting for cuttings to root. Once potted up, it can take a few days for the cutting to settle and start establishing its root again and getting nutes - at which point you will notice new growth which should be green and the older leaves will continue to yellow and die. You can cut the old, yellowing leaves off once new growth has started. The plant does not look stunted, looks as if a lot of new growth is going to be coming soon!3 points

Ok. Enough of this kak. Canβt stand opening the tent so while I had time and mostly cloudy, took them down. Was an awesome comp and came a long way. Grow space is upgraded and running a lot better, as long as I check my dosages. Something to never forget. Good luck to everyone still competing. Will move the vegging #2 to the flower box soon and prob start a round of vostoks! Runt #3 up first And #1 In the box Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk3 points

Day 114 and day 30 of 12/12. As the competition draws to an end here I am. Some are getting ready to harvest while others are gonna push a bit longer then there is one or two of us that fucked up along the way. But finish we will. Just by looking at the killer plants that have been grown the I think the judges have their work cut out for them. Pics are in groups of four #1-#3. Finally figured out the blue bags are drying twice as fast as the brown bag. Gave them all a proper soaking today. For what it's worth I'll be putting T3 forward on judgment day. Bonus is I get to have a sneak peek to what my plants should look like in 40 days time.3 points

Ha yeah that was from an even tighter space to manage sun exposure but that is currently the biggest plant I have grown so far. Had to go dig up a charger for an old phone to find these photos [emoji23] I've also dabbled with the Xmas tree idea before [emoji1787] but we going a bit bigger this time [emoji3]3 points

Hello all. After a week of lurking underground I've finally germinated as a new forum member. I recently decided to grow a plant or two, not that I even smoke much anymore, but just thought it would be fun to grow now that it's legal. I told myself that I was going to keep things very simple and avoid overthinking things (straight up soil, water, seagro and sunlight vibes) but alas I've been doing a fair amount of research over the past few days, and now I'm excited to learn more and hopefully raise these plants to be as healthy and happy as possible. I'll be growing outdoors on my balcony, and I've got 2 bunches of auto-flowering seeds - Humboldt UK Cheese and Dinamed Kush. The latter is a (almost) pure CBD strain which I decided to grow so I can use it as mix since my THC tolerance is super low these days. Current assets and tools at my disposal: freedom farms classic soil 2 x 9l plastic pots 2 x 10l freedom farms fabric pots bio-bizz grow bio-bizz bloom seagro kelpak diatomaceous earth red clover seeds (companion crop) wurmbosch vermigro (don't think I need this but got 2 bags for free) peat plugs soil ph and moisture meter Will likely have a lot of questions over the next while. Looking forward to being a part of this community!2 points

Welcome to this wonderful community @itchilemon !!! You will surely get great advise here. You have the right gear to start your grow. Autos can be sensitive sometimes , you need to start them in there final pot , they don't like transplants much. How much Sun does your balcony get during the day ? Il wait for October before I start , still very cold at night and that might hinder growth and you end up will a small plant at the end . Sent from my Hisense Infinity H50 using Tapatalk2 points

Took some close up of the trichomes and don't think she is going to be ready on Tuesday , most looks clear or milky only seeing about 5% of amber and she is still putting on weight2 points

It's been an exciting week! First time Topping, first time doing some LST and first time defoliating (1 leaf off each plant, but still! ). I'm happy with how it's going, these plants have become a lot more "hands-on" which has made it quite interesting, learning curve has gone up a notch. Still just feeding 1ml/lt of Bio-Grow. Trying to find amino booster in my area to add to it. Thanks as always for looking, advice and tips always welcome2 points

Week 3 veg and I going to be honest I have not seen growth like this with organics in awhile, so far I'm really enjoying the autopots with organics. The synthetics seem to be building salt on top of the coco and the growth somewhat seems slower compared to organic. I believe it might be due to the organics having a dosage of tricantonal which has been proven to boost growth Some of the ladies also got FIM, topped & LST Nothing else to report Zkittlez GG K-22 points

Seems so! I had initially bought a different growing medium, but exchanged for FF after browsing through this forum1 point

You can't go wrong to take some guidance from @PsyCLown That man knows his shit and is always willing to help, guide and share. Depending on whether you want a bush (topped plant) or a Christmas tree (untopped plant) it's up to you. By topping you will definitely increase budsites, level out the canopy and increase yield. Good luck on your grow man.1 point

Thanks.. did my first Mainlining after about 18 years a bit surprised myself how nice and even the mains turned out. Have one on Sisa, which is a bit lower, the other 7 made what I gently asked em to do1 point

As deciding when to harvest is quite a decision to make. I go a bit deeper into 'detail' why I do what. And as usual, use me only as a indicator.. I can't walk over water or bend the laws of physics... yet Two sections of the bud.. lower part with sugar leaves. You find very little amber and majority is milky to clear still. Milky is the easiest to spot against the green background. If you know there is a trichome but you cant really define it.. is clear, not amber. How honest you are to what you see is a bit key. Middle part, mix of sugar leaves and calyxes, flowers. Most here is still clear and just started to get milky, no amber to be found. Those are sections from the bud of the post before. Pistils are mostly dry as you see, and if you harvest now, potency would be rather low. Just needs more time to ripen. As you remove all leaf material, also the sugar leaves, while dressing.. just makes zero sense to harvest with the sugar leaves as indicator. When the final material shows the right signs you harvest. Is a nasty waiting game1 point
