Well well so it is done... I decided to make nr 1 my plant of choice. Below then the picks of nr1 for judgement.. All 3 girls realy did well and I would probably cut them down over the weekend if I am happy with the trichs.. What a joy and learning experience the grow off is. Big up to the organizers @420SA and @Totemic for the beans.. Nr2 Nr37 points

Some final quality and pest checks being done.. Having to grow in a grow off is a very humbling experience for me.. Nr 3 is looking very naaice.. She was the one un topped or fimmed and pulled down. Her nugs are a bit more appealing than nr 1's.5 points

Didn't notice this yesterday but one of the chosen males is suddenly producing purple.3 points

Update: Both Dinamed Kush seedlings have been planted in their forever homes. Still waiting for the Cheese seeds to breach before I pot them. Humble beginnings2 points

I still feel it is a bit risky as the mold / spores would need to be in contact with the UV for an extended period of time as far as I understand it. Also the device would need to draw the mold / spores into the UV light, so if for whatever reason the spore lands on your plant and does not get sucked up into the UV light, it is useless and won't make any difference. Not to mention the spores / mold would most likely not end up chilling in the section with the UV light for the necessary period of time to be killed as it would be blown out just as quickly as it got sucked in. Not sure how effective UV B is at killing mold / spores, but it is not uncommon for people to run UV B in flower for a bit and that could potentially help a bit. Not 100% sure though - it is not the reason people run UV B. If PM is an issue, there are better ways to treat it and prevent it. Unfortunately this UV sterilization will negatively affect your plants in order to get rid of the mold / spores.2 points

Try to not go over 26 degrees. Start to tune your climate control and tweak it for most efficiency. Look that you have enough air movement inside the tent. The small ones are better in color too.. think you had a bit to much water in those pots. All 6 plants look healthy now. You doing it right!2 points

Got 2x photos in-flower in the yard.. running late because they were in sick bay as seedlings and got delayed. Not sure if they're going to make it to full term or start re-vegging, so might as well try and get some seeds out of them as part of the gamble. The Strawberry Vostok males have been stationed alongside whilst waiting for various auto strains to reach maturity. Critical or Banana.. they got mixed up in sick bay and one didn't make it Blueberry2 points

Everyday at lights on: Okay so I gave final final watering today and that should be it until harvest. It has been a bit warmer the last few days and will quite likely stay that way this week and with anticipated harvest day being Friday, we are 3 days away so that should be a good sweet spot between giving the plant some moisture to swell up with in the remaining time and also limiting the moisture carried into the drying stage. #1 and #3 got less as I expect those plants to be harvested before #2 which may go a few days longer. #1 - 0.75L #2 - 1.5L #3 - 0.75L Light has been running at +-50-60%% since end of week 9 of flower. Viva la electricity units, viva! #1 is looking like the one that will be put forward as the chosen one.2 points

Starting to see a purple fade on another plant now. Time to whip out the microscope again. These girls are close. I'll post again later with some measurements too.2 points

Week 15 Update / Flower Week 9 Had some PM creep in in a few spots and decided to use PapaJ's KHCO3 and it seems to have been effective, I realise it will rear it's ugly head again but I hope to keep it under control until harvest. So far so good... Also made a 2x rookie mistakes this past week in the hydro res and it could come back to haunt me, 1) I bought the wrong Micro for my water. I use RO water but bought the hard water Micro which has less cal/mag in, caught it in the end and countered with CalMag, 2) On top of that I swapped the Micro and Grow dosages and only realised 10 days later. Eish, I guess it is what it is. I did a flush with FlashKleen over the weekend and changed the res to Ripen. The ladies are doing good overall and I think it's the last little dash to the finish line. T3 has had such a good run though. If the end result is as good as she grows I'd love to do a grow of just her and be able to get the light where I need it. The hydro ladies are still going to need some time to finish off but again, T2 is such a strong plant she has big node spacing but if you could concentrate your efforts into just her needs she could easily stack those spaces. Enough rant, let's get to it: Group photo: T1 - back right: T2 - back left: T3 - front left - I think this is the star of this show so far:2 points

The girls are doing well.. Well into flower and I hope the majority of the stretch is over.. I think these could grow into monsters if given free rain.. As you can see this girls is loaded with beans.. A litle seed hording on the way.. On the lower nodes 3 popcorns per node are forming. This is only on the girl that was topped.. The two younger girls are catching up fast..1 point

So I received some beautiful clones a while back from @The_StonedTrooper and have been nurturing them into submission ever since . At the time I was in between tents I had to make a makeshift plan but, alas, they ended up starting to bloom on me so it has been a bit of a revegging session as well. But they're all trained, trimmed and ready to rock and roll now . Keen to test out my new BudBox so they will be the first ladies in that new flower tent. I'll give them a week or 2 to recover from the trimming and to administer some IPM before heading into flower. It'll also give me some time to se the new tent up after the comp tent is free to move that out of the way, I have a hydro setup in there so it's not practical to move around. Okay here goes... Strains: Dirty Banana Crescendo Gorilla Glue t Next I potted them in 20L fabric pots with Freedom Farms Premium Classic soil and added some Mycoroot to the holes: Cleaned them up and did some LST: Vegged/Revegged them for a while until they were healthy: Did a big defoliation and adjusted the LST a bit: Now we wait for recovery and for me to finish my new setup...1 point

Ozone generator... but you cant up the concentration to high, ozone is rather aggressive to organics. Kills spores better as chlorine. Over all, you have a permanent PM issue, double or tripple your tent ventilation first and see if that removes more effective the exhaled moisture from your plants. Climate control is key to keep PM out.1 point

I'll be the guy that says no hobbyist should be playing with UV at all, there are better ways to prevent/deal with mold or mildew.1 point

@itchylemon, thank you! Yeah their turn around surprised me too. There are so many factors to consider when recreating an "artificial" environment for these plants. My first mistake was trying to save money on soil, will never do that again . Humidity all of a sudden became a problem the last 2 days all because of a change in POTS! Couldn't believe it. But a few changes here and there and all seems sorted. Will update again over the weekend1 point

I flipped on the 3rd but put back into veg for various reasons. Sent from my S40 using Tapatalk1 point

Did pictures for her Instagram page.. good friend, total weed head so we made some pictures with the plants. Might even push that further for a NFT limited pictures project.1 point

Amazing to see how good these are looking, especially since things seemed to be going a little pear shaped a couple weeks back. Nice job!1 point

Tonight I gained the courage to transfer my babies into their final pots. I wouldn't suggest LST before your final pot as this definitely complicated the whole situation and made it a lot more time consuming . I'm not sure if others have a different opinion on this Popped in to the local grow shop for some more soil and decided to grab a carbon filter while there. Many people told me that smell would only become a problem when flowering starts but that is definitely not the case here. If I leave my place for a day I come back to a flat smelling like a group of hobbits ripped major bongs throughout the whole place . It was on special and that definitely aided the decision making. Plants looked quite sad when first put in to their new home, but literally 2 hours and they were looking much better. 1 of the 3 are doing something a little strange, leaves are looking somewhat "Folded". Is it possibly just a bit of over-watering? I don't believe it could be heat as temps are consistent between 23-27 and it's only the 1 out of 6 plants. Or am I just being paranoid?? Training and topping is paying off, I'm getting the results i expected. Thought I'd give them a day or 2 before going hard on that again.1 point

Day 63 in flower ! #1- This one will be my chosen one , she was topped. Plain Coco/peatmoss/perlite with Elemental Blend and 15% wormcasting/compost. Plain rainwater and Fire Juice at 3ml/L (2ml is recommended) , no nuteburn on her and nice tight colas. #2- Different pheno , smaller buds and rocket shaped. She was Fimmed. Elemental Blend as above mixed 50/50 with FF Premium(Greenbag). She got some nuteburn as you can see. #3-Also different pheno , looks like foxtailing . She was left to do her Xmas tree look. No nuteburn on her. I like her also. Yield should be more than other 2 . Pics #1 , #2 and #3 Sent from my Hisense Infinity H50 using Tapatalk1 point

So we are into week 10 of flower. I gave the ladies 2 feedings of banana tea and molasses last week, and I feel like they are starting to bulk up nicely too. Took some trichome shots as well, they are starting to go cloudy but overall still clear. So we still have some time.1 point

They've put on a lot of chunk the past few day's. Smelling absolute bonkers stuff man, I don't have the ability to describe terps like Jesus's sweat and 2-stroke on a rainy day, so I'll rather just say it's like nothing I've smelt before. @Totemic The seeds are fire yo, doubted the one plant all the way and now she is the most beautiful, spear shaped harddd branches of dagga.
