Im happy to report I was just gifted a awesome tagged Freakshow from a genuine pro grower. He included 1 x zweet inzanty from ethos clone, 1 x Miracle alien cookies , 1 x Papaya by nirvana. So I guess im not done with photoperiod breeding just yet. Also in fem seeds we will start 5 x darkstar fems by th seeds, 1 x french marcron by th seeds , 1 x blue gelato by barney's farm, 1 x critical by royal queen, 15 x sour chiesel by big buddah, 15 x big buddah cheese, 10 x blue cheese. Guess its time to do some reversals.

So just a quick one.. Budlets dry and curing.. Have been medicating on scissor hash, some dry sift and fluff for the past week and I'm stoked.. All good.. Worried that the buds could get moldy but luck was on my side.. Awesome weekend to all.. Left.. Fluff centre left Prime Right centre Popcorn and right trim..

Week 6 done and start of week 7 This will be my last update until week 3 of flower. Everything has been boring up until now lol OK so we have seen the organics with some fast growth and they look lovely but the big question is, where the hell are the pics of the synthetic Marzcanna!? Well I don't like synthetic that's why lol! Actually the reason why I haven't posted any pics is because before I started this grow I had just enough amended coco from my previous grow for my organics, laziness soon kicked in when I realized that I'd have to buy anther brick, wash and buffered it, so I went and bought "washed and buffered" coco with perlite instead. Now I have mentioned that you should still wash and buffer your coco regardless and guess what I didn't follow my own advise, I watered the coco and planted directly (I won't mention the brand of the coco or the company, because it's partially my fault for not washing and buffering it regardless if it was advertised that it was) long story short you can guess what happen next, slow growth, alot of yellowing and even after loads of flushing and dosage of cal - mag it took the synthetics along time to recover (this is why I prefer to mix my own soil and this will be the last time I buy in pre made coco or mixed soil) The synthetics are now looking healthy and growing fast but I doubt it will catch up with the organics , I will post some pics soon but I guess it has thrown off the all side by side I had planed for this grow but forward we go. TORTONI #3 My favorite. This would have been my entry plant had I not overshot the deadline.

Anther week gone by and Im deceived to cut the veg time from the initial plan of 8 weeks to 6 weeks. So this weeks all about defioliation and recovery before we flip. I quickly found out that leaving your plants unattended for a week is a bad idea The Zkittlez started showing signs of deficiency. To me it seemed like either Potassium / Magnesium or Calcium. Since it's newer growth that's being effected I decided to give it some cal-mag. If anyone else knows what it might be feel free to share. All in all I'm happy with the overall health of the plants, gave them some lollipops for their good behavior and so will be flipping them soon That's it for this week cheeeeeers

What's goooood my good people Here we have some training talk, this is nothing new, just a video I came across that helped me and might be helpful to some of you, some of you may already be familiar with it. What is this Kushman Chiropractic nonsens? Well, basically it's super cropping, but with less risk of loosing branches and/or damaging the plant and much quicker response times and virtually no recovery time. I've noticed on the forum the hot shit when comes to super cropping is the method of rolling a branch between your fingers slightly pressing down on it untill it subtly lays sideways, but still kinda standing on its own. This has caused me to snap a few branches in the past, having to run over to my medic kit and strap and wire shit back up to save the branch if it doesnt snap and I did it 100% correctly the plant will still take about 12 to sometimes 24hrs to prop all the tops back up facing the light before it can continue with normal growth. Well, here we go, no more of that for me!!! We all know why we supercrop, so I won't go into that, but here is a video on how I found out about Kushmans Chiropractics that goes into quite a bit of detail on why we do it and all that, he also demonstrates his way and I found it to work MUCH better. snapped all my plants in about 30min last night without loosing a single branch. if you just wana check the chiropractics part skip to the 18:50 mark. he does something very very interesting

Always a good topic [emoji1787] , I focus on the top 20-30cm of my canopy any buds in that area gets light as much as can so I take of some fan leaves . For me most buds under that turns out to small or large . But I do make sure that I leave as much fan leaves as possible below that , they are like sunpanels for the plant. Week 6 would be to far in the development to then only give the small ones below light [emoji2371]? I use take take alot of when I started because of Google but growers more experienced than me guided me and now I take as less as possible but where needed. They doing verry well.. The girl that got polinated seem to have stopped bulking up or did not at all.. Strange.. The other two are different phenos.. Bud development is really not bad... This is the polinated one. Her calyxes swelled up and there she got stuck..

My friend snaped these pics, a good camera really makes a difference. They dont look that good in real life lol. All the dark ones are SV's.

I was going to ask this. But wanted to do some research first. Everyone swears by having the last Defoliation at the end of week 3. There's been a few brave souls thats defoliated in week 5 and 6 and says it made all the difference. But im not sure. The WPM is completely gone, but the leaves are definitely blocking plenty of budsites and I'm itching to trim them to maximize the light penetration in hope of more fat buds Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk

Week 4 - Day26 (Flower) (22/09/2021) HORTIMIX-DWC EC = 1.7, PH =6.0 Going through 20L of water a week WPM gone for now

Alright guys! Apologies for the tardiness, it has been quite the week... But none the less, my Tortoni has been harvested, stripped of its fan leaves, and is now drying in my drying cupboard area. I managed to get 4 decently sized colas out of her and some larf here and there.. Thanks for watching guys! It was another fun challenge thanks to @Totemicand @420SA Here comes the good stuff

One thing which is noticable, when you "crack" the plants properly, a few weeks later you actually see the branches thickening between the nodes. Love it

Fair enough, size of the structure will play a role. I understand the goal of 60-65 exchanges per hour is sufficient(may be wrong).

hocus pocus for your small tent maybe but an intake or an extractor is not sufficient to move the air correctly - without fans, your extractor will default to the easiest way out of the tent and create static wind currents that may or may not work as well as your in your tent space - the smaller the tent, the less you have to worry about air movement if your extractor is beefy you want the FAE as well as something to mix the air up in the tent consider keeping one of the fans for that purpose - i felt this bigtime in my dads tent when he only had an extractor and no fan to churn the air up... plants suffering from weird heat stress for no reason, some plants were not in the way of the FAE static airflow, and i could tell the difference in growth compared to those that were in the static breeze.

Blomme. Week - No idea. No effort being put in here. These here weeds are just growing themselves. Oscillating fans are hocus pocus, you just need correct FAE. I have 2 brand new in the box, black RAM fans for sale R300 each. Hit me up if you want them, courier for your pocket.

After much deliberating I decided to submit T3 as my submission for the comp. Here are her final pictures. She was grown in a 10L grow bag, with organic soil from Organic Matters and fed on GHE nutrients twice weekly and black strap molasses and Epson salts on a bi weekly schedule. Thank you to @420SAand @Totemicfor this amazing opportunity to grow these incredible genetics. I had a blast. Thank you to all the other growers for the support and the competition throughout.

And just like that, we are done Plant #1 and the chosen one is as per the pics below. I trimmed up one bud properly to see the bud structure. The rest was wet trimmed of all big fan leaves(final dry trim to come) post drying. So after 11 weeks of flower, she is looking grand. The plant I chose was slightly smaller than the other one, but I felt like the bud structure was nice, good colour, and frosty AF! This is some serious sticky icky goodness @Totemic Thanks for the seeds and the competition, and all the awesome peeps who participated. It's a pity I didn't get to dedicate more time, as I really feel that if I had not neglected them for weeks at a time, that I would of turned up even better results. But it's a testament to the ridiculously good genetics as they really shown through even with the abuse. Soil: Mix of Freedom farms and my own custom blend Nutrients: BioBizz Bloom and Grow as well as molasses and some banana tea at the end Light: Phoenix Sky Sunplus 200 (240w) Th pics don't do her justice really. Apparently 3 were excluded (+ my video) also as I hit the limit but there you go

Tortoni #3: My organic girl, miss elegant.. she was such a beautiful plant, she had a beautiful structure and nice bud development, very indica-ish. Loved watching her grow and loved to learn about growing organically.

Yeah thats 34 plants and really as many as I could fit in a 1.2m. This is really not the way to be growing autos. They will do much better in big fabric pots with 6 plants in 6 x 30L in a 1.2m. Made sense to me for breeding. 4 x cinderella jack autos x strawberry vostok auto = Anastasia 99 F1 regular autos 4 x strawberry cheesecake x strawberry vostok = Jessica Rabbit F1 regular autos 4 lemon larry og x strawberry vostok = ? still picking a name. strawberry vostok f1 x strawberry vostok f1 = F2 Much more crowded upstairs. all SVF1.

Just anther update, the k-2 & Zkittlez are growing fairly fast soz had to do some training on them, I must also add that supplementing silica has done wonders for training the plants, stems seem "rubber" like making it easier to push them at extreme angles without worrying to much about snapping. Will recommend anyone to try silica if you haven yet Applied some neem oil after the super cropping for the bugs and back in the tent they go for a week's recovery

Well well so it is done... I decided to make nr 1 my plant of choice. Below then the picks of nr1 for judgement.. All 3 girls realy did well and I would probably cut them down over the weekend if I am happy with the trichs.. What a joy and learning experience the grow off is. Howzit. From my experience, by topping once at the main stem then another top on the first node from both off shoots, the result is a sturdy, bushy plant with 4 fat, main colas and some medium/large secondary colas. Anything more will enhance budsites but reduce bud size. This is from my experience though so feel free to experiment yourself
