It's been a tense past 36 hours! Sorry for the downtime guys The website was migrated over to a better server on Sunday night which requires that the domain (420sa.co.za) points to the new server. This involves changing DNS settings and that's where the issue was. I was having issues getting access to the account where I change those DNS settings and support from the host, to get access, was painfully slow. So I phoned the host this morning and finally got them to sort me out, and we're back. My apologies to those who tried to access the site9 points

So dry weight is in, not a massive harvest but at least some smoke I must say I was a bit lazy to trim so only trimmed the top nugs and the rest when in to the hash bin 223g for all the 3 comp plant together (top nugs only) 256g trim that turned in to 26.4g hash5 points

Been a few days since the last update and well, this heat has not been helping. The chiller should hopefully arrive next week sometime. The pancake stompers have been problematic, as you will see in the pic below, I actually pulled some out and added new clones which all but basically fell over. A single clone seems to be rebounding, so will just see how it goes. But I have decided to replace the pancakes with slurricane seeds. Issues with EC (FYI don't follow Murican GHE chart) and PH(FYI HM digital sucks). Plat punch seem to be happy at least, RH is ridiculously low so running a mist maker, was suffering with low 20% RH.3 points

So I know on some other forums they have a "last purchase" thread where people can share what they purchased last. I thought it would be cool to have something similar on this forum, but for seeds... Perhaps even clones if you bought some clones. Soo, what was the last seeds / clones which you bought?2 points

KmintZ - Ripper Seeds Bought these babies at the beginning of the month. I have no idea when I will pop them but I just had the instinct to grab them while they were still available. My most popular strain amongst my circle is the Zkittlez x Purple Punch by Ripper Seeds, and KmintZ appears to be the "updated" version of ZxP, claiming better fungi resistance and beefier buds yes sir, another bowl of marketing please to fill my eager capitalist belly! Dope packaging though. It will sit in storage until the day comes to pop them.2 points

Just a lil update. The ladies are growing like crazy and there a noticeable difference between feeds. Looks like I might flip the switch to flower on Monday.2 points

Excited to start a bunch of new seeds. Only a few of these will be used for breeding. The rest will get a full season outdoors. They rarely end up looking like they are advertized.2 points

She and a few others germinated in the middle of winter but only she survived while all the rest of them died. Her dad is Chocolate gelato F2. Not sure what mother the seed fell from. Going to be a monster. Keeping these 5 fems in a birdcage untill they get a bit bigger (cats/dogs). Will train them apart later. 3 x chocolate gelato by totemic, 1 x critical orange punch by dutch p, 1 x triple cheese by barney's. Upstairs all the SV are doing well, just garlic oil sprays weekly and water every other day. All the males are culled and every one is female. Tent is going ok, just a waiting game.2 points

Fuck them bru. There's a lot of other seedbank to choose from that deserve the business. If a oke can't be bothered to reply he clearly doesn't give a shit about retaining a client base. Support those that deserve the support i say2 points

They're awol with their responses, based on that type of behavior alone I won't support them, especially when I can see they've read the message.2 points

So took the plunge and invested in a vape. After 20+ years of smoking it’s time to give the lungs a rest. After watching a lot of entry level reviews i was thinking of the gpen pro/elite or the boundless cdc 2.0. Then I went to the vape shop. Had a lekker chat and they recommended the Utillian 421 and color me impressed. Went through two bowls and what a different experience. First time trying a vape and I’m in love. Let’s see how this develops but I can see myself rolling a lot less. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Green Crack Clone(Humboldt) from Greensmokeroom en route as soon as she rooted. Fully amped for this one for this will be my first purchased clone. Also germinated a White Afghan Skunk that was gifted to me from @John Stonedwell and some Durban Poison seeds gifted from @Pants . Thanks guys. You are legends! Yewww!1 point

The tent is up and what a high end piece of gear!! The only... only... gripe I have is that the drawstrings for the vents are a bit thin and don't do such a great job of closing off the vent. Other than that, this tent is fucking amazing. Just trying to pull the material over the poles you'll know that it's quality, that shit is heavy! Thanks for all the advise that led me to this purchase guys..1 point

I only have the one seed so I will breed with her if she germinates. I will start them all and pollinate the nicest ones in the tent with either the reversed freakshow or a new male. Would like a pure indica male to pollinate the Darkstars who are also pure indicas idealy. Im concidering breeding with a La plata labs male?1 point

Nice share, Ive followed Kushman for some years and what an absolute legend he is. His technique is one ive tried a few times but will be honest didnt find much of a difference between the traditionally supper crop, i did how ever developed my own method based on kushmans chiropractor. Jungle boys are anther group in a league of their own and I recommend watching some of their videos, they have a few good tips aswel , anther is those crazy boys from High Rise / High Rise Tv, they are doing some crazy things aswel (mostly for those who want some ideas on how to turn this into a business). Always educational and a great source of inspiration1 point

One of my seedlings has lost it's first set of proper leaves. They just kinda fell of I guess. You can see in the photos on my previous post that it was looking deformed and yellowing. I also think it's strange how the cotyledon leaves on this one never really opened up wide - they've always been quite upright. Is there any chance it could recover, or should I be starting to germinate a replacement?1 point

After much deliberating I decided to submit T3 as my submission for the comp. Here are her final pictures. She was grown in a 10L grow bag, with organic soil from Organic Matters and fed on GHE nutrients twice weekly and black strap molasses and Epson salts on a bi weekly schedule. Thank you to @420SAand @Totemicfor this amazing opportunity to grow these incredible genetics. I had a blast. Thank you to all the other growers for the support and the competition throughout.1 point

And just like that, we are done Plant #1 and the chosen one is as per the pics below. I trimmed up one bud properly to see the bud structure. The rest was wet trimmed of all big fan leaves(final dry trim to come) post drying. So after 11 weeks of flower, she is looking grand. The plant I chose was slightly smaller than the other one, but I felt like the bud structure was nice, good colour, and frosty AF! This is some serious sticky icky goodness @Totemic Thanks for the seeds and the competition, and all the awesome peeps who participated. It's a pity I didn't get to dedicate more time, as I really feel that if I had not neglected them for weeks at a time, that I would of turned up even better results. But it's a testament to the ridiculously good genetics as they really shown through even with the abuse. Soil: Mix of Freedom farms and my own custom blend Nutrients: BioBizz Bloom and Grow as well as molasses and some banana tea at the end Light: Phoenix Sky Sunplus 200 (240w) Th pics don't do her justice really. Apparently 3 were excluded (+ my video) also as I hit the limit but there you go1 point

Tortoni #3: My organic girl, miss elegant.. she was such a beautiful plant, she had a beautiful structure and nice bud development, very indica-ish. Loved watching her grow and loved to learn about growing organically.1 point

Update: T3 is ready to go. Milky and orange trichomes all around. Leaves fading proper purple now. Eventhough she was grown in organic soil, she was fed GHE nutrients so need to flush out some of those salts. I've flushed with just plain tap water PH 6.5. I'll be putting her in 48hrs of darkness this evening, ready to harvest on Tuesday morning first thing. Time for some pictures.1 point
