Hi guys, Thanks all for the valuable input. I went with the amendments my buddy suggested and just thought I'd try it out. I did the repot in plain Orgasoilux yesterday, gave plain water at pH 6.3 after calibrating my pH pen and this evening she is looking much happier.3 points

I decided this would be my last week of Veg. The ladies have popped up a bit and I don't want to risk running out of both pot and tent space . Tomorrow I'll plug in my 3rd light, change the timers over to 12/12, and give them their first shot of BioBloom. I'm quite excited to begin this new phase of learning, I like to believe I've done well this far . Here's a final look at the ladies in their vegetative form! Hey Guys, This is only my second grow, please bear with me as I have tonnes to learn. My plants have been doing well up until the last week or so. In the last few days I observed quite a bit of leaf loss, and the plant appears to be droopy and unhappy. I suspect that overwatering may be the culprit, however, I have been leaving the plant to dry out before watering again. I generally water when the pots are light, but upon returning from a trip a week ago i noticed that the plants really needed water. Ever since then it has been downhill. I grow indoors, with a 240W Kingbrite Light. All plants are the same strain (Gorilla Glue #4), and are in 12L fabric pots. Over the last week i had to remove many brown/dead leaves, and the plant overall just does not look as good as it did, the buds also seem to have not changed a whole lot since then. I have also not fed any synthetic nutrients this time around, only top-fed worm castings thrice throughout the grow. Additionally, the plants are in organic living soil. I generally PH my water between 6 and 7, but about a month ago my PH pen broke. From experience, my water generally hovers around ph 7.5-8, and two tiny drops of ph down would do the trick. It has been this way since i started this grow a few months back, so i have been preparing the water in the same way until i get a new ph pen. I hope that one of you veteran growers would be able to diagnose what the issue is, if there even is an issue at all. I know they are on their final stretch, seems to be about 3 weeks to go, hence the excessive stress on my part. I hope i have provided enough information, if no please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated!2 points

Yep! No doubt there anymore. The other 2 have also shown to have some serious balls . Totally explains their willingness to adapt and overcome, they pushed through all they had against them. Will be sad giving them the good 'ol snipping. In other news, day 2 of Flower, I'm itching to see the fruits of my labour! They are growing like mad now, loving the extra light and fancy new nutrients. @Prom, I took the dive and got some of that Bio-Heaven. Also got some Top Max today to start adding. Super excited about the next few weeks!2 points

The bottom of some of the pots still feels cold and wettish, but tomorrow I will give them all a topping of EWC. Its as if you knew I had some spare castings laying around. I also think I added to much Potting Soil to the mix and reason for heavy feel to the pots. Thanx for the feedback @Batista... @Weskush, The wind has been crazy past few days and the only good day was Sunday but thanx for the input. The top soil was loosened to get the soil to dry out quicker. But will water them tomorrow. On another note, I found a grow shop in Paarl called Green Houston. They are reasonably priced and stock Mycoroot and Blood Meal. If any of you are in the area, pop in. Their Mineral Feeding area is realy small because they are much more focused on organic growing... And on the plus side, they give free samples of Humid & Fulvic Acid with purchases.2 points

So I transplanted and things just dont seem cool. I planted more seeds as backup but I'm not sure about some of them. The other look better and it could be due to the cold nights and that hectic wind that's been blowing lately. But anyway, I'm heading out to get some ammendments for my soil mix.2 points

Spot on. If its on the leaves, then it needs more time. If that is on the bud itself, the calyx then you could cut. Leaving it to ripe more comes down to personal preference. Always take the flowering times with a teaspoon of salt. Personal preference comes into play as does phenotype and how quickly it ripens.2 points

Looks like balls to me dude (not that I know balls too well) What I do with outdoor sometimes is I supplement with a plain 100w LED flood light. So depending on how much Sun they get etc. I even veg in early winter sometimes with extra light from the LED and switch it off when I want to flower. I also like using the LED if I take clones that have been receiving 24 hours light and then plant them outside. Even though they go from 20 hours light to 14 hours light, sometimes they flip to flower because it is a huge difference between 20 and 14 hours. The LED stays outside permanently and being used to extend the days of the plants.2 points

Soo, I saw @Prom posted a link to this site in another vape related thread: https://www.getmyster.com/blogs/blog/what-are-the-best-temperatures-for-vaping-weed Got me thinking, what temp do you guys vape at and what vape(s) do you use? I use a Davinci IQ2 and I vape between 190C and 195C If I set the temp higher it starts to get a bit harsh for me. I also find towards the end of the vape session, even if it is set to a specific temperature and not one of the smart path modes, it feels as if the temp does increase a bit and the harshness increases a little towards the end of the session. @The_StonedTrooper Do you notice the same with your IQ2 ?1 point

I think it works the other way around? Starts out as an intense high while clear/milky and gets less intense and more mellow as it Amber's more and the CBD count rises and THC count drops off some? May have it wrong, but that's how I understand it [emoji2369] They look so so good though yoh [emoji54][emoji16] Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk1 point

They look pretty good hey. The leaf cupping and slight drooping is heat related i think. The topsoil also looks a bit on the dry side like @Batista mentioned. Otherwise ayoba1 point

Howdy, Looking good but there are some things to tackle. Nitrogen only source of fertiliser in the flowering phase is a general no no and is the reason why the buds are not fattening up and looking pointy. I also made this error when I tried organic and have now switched to fully synthetic and am happy with it. Are you using anything to provide a source of k? You also need to get a Ph pen because after each watering and application of amendments the Ph will swing and can't be corrected from memory after a few weeks of this. I recently went through having to replace a Ph pen and had one shipped to me from communica. Coza- found that to be the cheapest at that time. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk1 point

I would try top dress with worm castings and then water throughly. Been having some great success with my outdoor tortoni they also they loose alot of water in this wind, the soil looks a little dry. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk1 point

My vape just has a dial and no temp sensor so I just wing it I do try to go on the lighter side though as the heating element is quite beefy and anything past a certain point just combusts... not cool!1 point

T3 will definitely be left for another week or so, as will T2. T1 might get the chop during the week. Clear too mostly milky with very little amber under the microscope. At this stage I believe the high is less intense which is what my wife wants. It's the least favorite and T2 & T3 get some more light bouncing around in my cabinet. Are those photos deep in the nugs on a calyx or on the outside on sugar leaves? Looks goood, but if it's on the sugar leaves you gotta remember those trichs ripen faster. If it looks like this inside the nug you are golden1 point

The plants have moved outside for good - with some added support to counter the strong winds. Some close ups of how they have been tied up - adjustable and avoid strangling the plant, leaving space for it to grow. This, repeated from different angles to get a stable core.1 point

They will reveg and you will have nice big plants , looks like balls yes but let's wait for the growers that know there balls Sent from my Hisense Infinity H50 using Tapatalk1 point

I see you getting your stuff from the Brackenfell Hydro store, so I am assuming you from cpt area? Depending on where you are I could possible swing by with my EC pen. First follow what was said, plain water from here on. if you repot, the new soil will also be loaded with nutes, so I would say, leave her in the pot she is for now and just give plain water to rehabilitate her to where she is actually able to form new roots and uptake nutes. (this will be when you see new healthy looking green growth on top) she's still in shock now and repotting into more nutritional soil will only shock her even more. If a week or two goes by and the girl still not looking good you may need to flush her. Then I will come over and help you flush her to the right EC.1 point

Why would you amend store bought soil like that? Orgasoilux, Organics matter and freedom farms are made not so that you don’t have to do anything. You basically just give some essential microbes and water. If you want do fix all your issues that is what I would do from this time forward. Microbes and plain water. Microbes maybe once a month. Water for the rest of it. With organics less is more.1 point

Yeah, but at least I know I’ve got it built. Will look in the new year at the next run and try again or alternatively get a smaller 1.5 tent and do a smaller system in there to play around with. I hate watering, but I’m gonna but a automated drip system with netbows.1 point

Welcome back stranger [emoji91] , That soil is made to not feed basically , should/could last a while grow from veg to flower , might be to much stuff you added, just give plain water and a microbe inoculant Sent from my Hisense Infinity H50 using Tapatalk1 point

So dry weight is in, not a massive harvest but at least some smoke I must say I was a bit lazy to trim so only trimmed the top nugs and the rest when in to the hash bin 223g for all the 3 comp plant together (top nugs only) 256g trim that turned in to 26.4g hash1 point
