@PsyCLown hey bud. The seeds were popped on the 28th of August. Early veg growth looks alright and didn't respond too bad to the high stress training. Still 2 toppings to go before I flip to flower so just really hoping that it atleast presents well in flower. I really wanted to support local and that is why I gave them a go but with all the noise around their ethical practice I wonder whether I will get what I thought I would get. Only time will tell... Atleast I am also growing out some of that Inhouse that you gifted me so that has me happy knowing I will atleast have that and also the OSG seems to be legit... Here are some pics. The mix is done. Not a lot of action, but the life is there, I think. Gave it to some corn, Broccoli and Jalapeños and they showed growth the next day. So I took my extra planted seedlings and gave them a dose from a young age. They werw transplanted in the amendment soil mix. I added mycoroot and watered them with declorinenated water and Lacto Serum. Now its a waiting game, I guess but so far i see no ill effect and growth is there... Lactobacillus Serum: Pics is from day 1 to now: The seedlings that's helping me out with this test :2 points

Another week down, another quick update. You might notice that these photos are taken next to a window. I keep the plants on the balcony until late afternoon, and then bring them in for a couple extra hours of sunlight when the balcony is shaded. Dinamed 1: Buds are coming along fast. They have a very deep purple, almost black colour. I'd be concerned but it seems typical for this strain. I'll post some nice pictures of the buds soon. Smelling good too! Dinamed 2b: Just a tiny baby growing up to take the place of it's failed sibling. Cheese 1: She's gone into flowering now so is starting to stretch out, making it easier to open up the lower nodes to sunlight using LST. Started to include Bio-Bloom and Topmax into her feeding. Despite her very short size, she's got quite a lot of substance. Might do some defoliating soon. Cheese 2: Despite being plated about a week later than Cheese 1, and also being much smaller, she's also got a couple pistols now. Probably going to start stretching shortly. One slightly annoying thing about the plastic pots is that it takes much longer for soil to dry out, so less water added means less nutrients added.2 points

"The results of this survey confirm that most rolling paper products available on the consumer market contain pesticide or heavy metal contaminants" "With pesticides, the story is largely the same. Though less prevalent, the concentration of pesticide contaminants varied widely, and a significant percentage of the products tested were contaminated with pesticides in concentrations that exceeded the action limits." Reminds me of the fact that most soda cans have rat poop on the lids2 points

So attached is the report from SC Labs, however they don't state all of the products tested and which failed or passed. Cellulose papers seem to be something one should stay away from though. SC-Labs-Report_Rolling_Papers_MKT00308.pdf2 points

I spent a lot of my days picking out the thinest of papers, untreated, organic papers, hemp papers.... it's only logical, right? No, it's all bullshit. I believe we're being taken for a whatwhat by the marketing sector. Feel like I did a thread before, but she’s gone cap’n. [emoji1745] Anyways, got a nice deal from @Bay Seeds And joining the fun I gave them out left, right and center. Finally gotten round to popping some myself, and after the dog ate the first ones and a restart I am now sitting with a very nice male, looking for pollen catching and storing tips? Plan is to do F2’s and see what pops out There is also a little lady just starting to show pistols in the same pot, just about right Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

It's time for a new journey & a new diary, & let me be completely honest I was going to do this diary once I had reached harvest with pics and video and skip the all boring veg phase, but I soon found myself with a lot more work and a lot more content than Id like so I thought let me start this diary and update it on a monthly bases. OK so what are we doing this time? SETUP: We doing 15L & 20L autopots A side by side of organic and synthetic Organics are setup using 12mm lead piping and valve 5s Syntheic is setup using 6mm lead pipe with standard valves MEDIUM: For synthetics we going with perlite & coco (washed and buffered a week before potting) For organics going with coco & perlite ammended with malted barley, kelp meal, guano, frass, dolomite, biochar, aloe, alfalfa & Bokashi STRAINS: The strains will be Super Silver, K-2, Zkittlez & original glue by @Marijuana Seeds SA & Nirvana LIGHTS: This time we pulling out the Mars Hydro SP 3000 from the start with the help from the Leon 200, that's more than enough power in the hood for this grow I started off germination with some water in a cup and after 2 days potted in coco on a heat mat for 2 weeks in the dome with very light feed every 4 days 5 days later... All but 2 didn't sprout. Well.. One was very late to the party the other one never showed face so I decide to pop anther zkittlez seed At the end of 2 weeks they were ready to be trasplanted into their final pots Right side synthetics. Left side organics. At this point I had to top feed for at least 2 weeks before the roots were established in the Autopot system After 2 weeks of top feeding its was finally time to turn on the systems Some nice socks for the ladies.. Looks more like a water tube.. (well they are going for a swim after all) Zkittlez & Original Glue first week of veg1 point

She is doing very well in that 80L pot. The leaves are big and healthy and the stem is thick and hard. Looks really good so far and that Indica trait surely does show... I was thinking about doing some training, but ended up deciding to Monstercrop only. Crushed them grow tips and now its just wait and see....1 point

Titanfall 2 is one of my personal favorites. I played mostly due to the campaign, but the multiplayer & co-op modes were also good when I got it back in the day. edit: I see it still has a extremely good player count on all platforms1 point

Alrighty, outdoor season is upon us! I got myself a few free seeds, just going to be playing around with them a bit, nothing serious. I have 2 big pots, 60L and 80L, ready for action. Planning to run some clones of mine, but first... I recycled and reamended some soil for my outdoor plants, but before really planting anything important in it I wanted to see if it's any good. Did a few tests, this is one of them. These are all regulars so I will be putting them in the flower tent in groups to rid out the males. Then clone all the ladies, number them, flower the mothers and select the best girl for further testing. Will probably end up with 2 plants at the most. Small phenohunt if you wana call it that, but it's not quite really. Group 1 - Hawaiian Cake in Freedom Farms Group 2 - Hawaiian Cake in reamended Soil Group 3 - Trainwreck in Freedom Farms Group 4 - Trainwreck in reamended soil (added more perlite) These plants are all between 4 and 6 weeks old, popped in sphagnum peatmoss and transfered to these pots a week after they popped. Only been getting clean water, no nutrients. The only signs of stress was the leaf damage from the few days of heavy wind that smacked their first sets of true leaves a while back when they didn't have any wind shade. They seem to be growing just fine, I have tested the EC of the soil, came in at 4.6, which is really fine for a young plant in an organic situation. I went ahead and brought out the first clone for the outdoor season, planted her in the 80L pot she'll be in till harvest. Sour Lemon OG1 point

There's a lot of people who honestly have no interest in the plant, or helping the community, they just want to make some quick $$$. And unfortunately this is something that is going to happen.1 point

Howsit all, Just wanted to say a big thank you to all who responded and provided some very valuable information I ended up going with a KingBrite J series 240w LM301H with UV+IR (https://tinyurl.com/j240wUVIR), yeah I know it was not even part of the options above lol Managed to pick it up for USD185 incl shipping, which worked out to about R2600 when I placed the order. I just felt with the Meijiu boards there was not enough 660nm and UV+IR diodes. The KingBrite has 136pcs 660nm, 8pcs UR and 8pcs IR Will post back when the light arrives in October.1 point

Howzit oaks. Just a short one again of a few little vacuum chambers I have made. There are bigger vacuums that you can make using perspex and pots but that I have not done yet. One day maybe. So this guide would just be for a little chamber and a hand pump. An extreme budget job. For the noob like myself. So a list of things: Jar and lid (preferrably small as possible (200ml)). WondaFix (pratley). 1/4 inch ball valve. Some 1/4 inch fittings and nozzles. Plumbing tape. Hand brake bleeder pump (tube included) So I also have one that uses an 1/8 inch valve which is awesome but fittings are quite tough to get hold of so just for the ease of it, we will refer to 1/4 inch in this quick guide. I managed to find all my fittings at a shop called Adendorff. What a shop. Lots of cheap tools and crap. I asked them if they do vacuum pumps and sounds like they have a huge request and might bring something in. Quite simple. Drill a hole into the lids of the jars. I used a 6mm drill bit. The 1/4 inch fitting fits nicely into it. I actually just screwed it into the hole using the thread on the fittings. Depending on your valve being a male to male or female to female, you will have to figure out the best fittings/adaptors for the job. I used female valves so I basically only needed a 1/4inch male to male adaptor and a 1/4inch male nozzle. Once screwed in I used the wondafix to seal it nicely. I used the steel pratley but doesn't work because the lid of the chamber flexes a little when you suck all the air out. Let the glue settle overnight and then make sure everything is screwed in tightly. You will notice in both photos that I am using different jars and lids but they are still small enough. The reason for the small jars is because you have to remove the air using a hand pump. It takes suuuuuuuuper long if you use a 1lt consol jar and pump it with a hand pump. Smaller jars are much easier. I am on the look out for second hand fridge compressors because the old school ones have an inlet and outlet. As far as I know you can get a really nice vacuum going with one of those. With the hand pump and small jar I can get about 24"hg. With a compressor pump/vacuum pump you can get very very close to a perfect vacuum (29.92"hg). Last two photos is from vacuum to no vacuum. When warming the extract with a mat or warm bath it helps get all the bubbles of gas out easier. The extract can also be directly blasted into the glass jar, then purged from the jar too, and utilized from the jar for consumption. Total estimated costs: M/M adaptor 1/4inch (R20) F/F ball valve 1/4inch (R40) M nozzle 1/4inch (20) Brake bleeder pump kit (R250) Small jar and lid (R25) Plumbing tape (R20) Pratley WondaFix (R80) TOTAL: R455 Hope this manages to help someone else that is also using chemical extraction methods and wants cleaner dabs. Thanks for watching.1 point

Hey all! 'Tis the season to be merry and jolly and I suppose to give to others as well. I also feel that if anyone wants to grow a CBD plant, they should be able to. I have some CBD Charlottes Angel feminised seeds which I am happy to give away to a few members who are keen to grow out a CBD plant. This plant supposedly has THC under 1% and CBD upto 16% but I have seen lab tests where the CBD ends up over 20% actually. So basically you are not going to get much of a high from this plant, but you should be getting quite a bit of CBD. I grew it out and can confirm that smoking or dabbing it, not much of a high at all but certainly does have a calming effect. I will cover the cost of shipping. This will work on a first come first serve basis. Each pack will contain 3 seeds. I am more than happy for everyone on this forum to share with each other - be it the seeds you received or a cutting once you have started to grow the plant out. Ultimately I will be limited by the amount I am willing to spend on shipping as it does add up rather quickly. If you are interested, reply to this thread stating why you would like to grow out this CBD plant and then we can arrange the shipping - I will drop you a PM to get the shipping details. I may wait until all seeds have been claimed before I ship them out - this will make it easier for me as I can then do a single trip and ship them all at once. Once everything has been claimed, I will reply to this thread notifying everyone that the giveaway has come to an end. Keep safe and enjoy the festive season!1 point
