A few changes to report on: Plants have moved to their final pots. Was quite a job but I'm glad with how smoothly it all went. So pots...we are all here for the pot right? 200L and 100L: Started with a layer of 3 different stones. Next - river sand. Wet it down and aim to remove the air pockets between the stones and sand. Next - an orgy of Orgasoilux and mycoroot Next - lift up the plants in their existing pots and give it a slight bear-hug to loosen to sides. Tilt it to pour out any loose soil/material. Using one hand to support the stem, flip it over and get a friendly helper to come pull the pot off. Gently place plant in new pot. Currently 1m from soil surface There is a spotlight which points I'm their direction that I have been running until around 9pm/10pm every night to try avoid any preflowering but despite that... here we are...pistils. A little reveg won't hurt... right? I've been using Jamie's Orgasoilux pretty much since I started growing but have finally taken the plunge to try his nutes and rooibos mulch - because science says I must fuck around and find out. Feeding according to Jamie's Organic Liquid feeding programme - Organic Liquid Feeding Program.pdf Wurmbosch's Vermi Pure for dessert.4 points

And here we are finally... It's been an agonizing wait for many of you, for some of you the wait will have been worth it. This growoff has produced many quality grows, many more than our previous growoff and big up to all of you who made it till the end. I would gladly smoke bud from any of your trees! Without any further blabbering let's get straight to the point and announce our winners Please note that winners of overall prizes are ineligible for the category prizes Category Prizes The Fattest Cola @CreX Best Grow Diary @McMan DIARY LINK Best Trained Plant @Prom Overall Prizes 3rd Place @iGrowDagga 2nd Place @SkunkPharm Our Champion @mantis 1st place was a VERY tough decision to make for us. Mantis and Skunkpharm both produced superb grows. Both with differing appealing qualities. What it ultimately came down to was which grow had the least flaws and @SkunkPharm I'm afraid your small thrips infestation is what counted against you and tipped the scale in favour of @mantis. It was a margin as fine as that. As I say though, you guys both produced two very solid grows. The simple way to put how we judge this competition is we are looking for the grow that is the most "Pro". Would the grow be accepted according to an indoor commercial grow operation standard. Those are harsh but necessary standards, and the same applies here in this comp. Meeting the criteria is key. Thank you to all of you who came along for this ride. Congratulations to all our winners Thank you to our genetics sponsor Thank you to @Totemic for sponsoring the genetics that I feel did really well overall this comp. Very promising for the future indeed! And of course our generous prize sponsors @Light It Up @Aeradix Green Smoke Room @Cannabist Green Grow Room @ExploGrow @Golden-Goose @THCSA (TheHighCo.) @Futurama Hydroponics Till next time!3 points

Just playing around with a pic editor. She is growing very well and healhty as fuck. She is just loving the soil mix and today was also feeding day. Gave all the ladies a dose of Seagro and Humigro.3 points

100% I store my seeds in the fridge with silica desiccant to help control the humidity and inside a zip lock bag (they're not 100% airtight). It is also a smaller fridge which is seldom opened and not the main fridge. I think the humidity is the bigger issue though. @PapaSpliff Everyone has their own preference with popping seeds but I really love the paper towel method. Into water for 12 to 24 hours, then into paper towel until there is a tap root and then I plant it into the medium (I plant near the surface, to make it easier for the seedling to emerge). If the seed husk gets stuck on the seedling I will carefully help it out and remove the seed husk.3 points

I dropped the seeds straight into solo cups with some new soil I'm trying (420Mix). Kept them in the dark in my cupboard. Gave up on them after 2 weeks, so this weekend I removed the seeds from the solo cups and put them straight into the ground/garden as a last resort . The seeds popped cos I could see the small taproot but the roots looked dried out. @TotemicApologies for saying that your seeds did not pop I think that I under watered them, as I did not want to make the mistake of over watering them. Looks like it was my bad all round (rookie mistake)... Anyways, that's a tough lesson learnt from my f#ck#p... This week I started some bagseed I found (just to keep me busy this season). But this time, I'm gonna do the tot glass soak and paper towel method before dropping into soil...3 points

We're only 3 weeks since the first pistols appeared on Dinamed 1, but I can't help wonder if I should be preparing for harvest? To my untrained eye it looks like most, if not all, trichomes are quite cloudy. It kinda seems like they came cloudy out of the box. All pistols are still looking very fresh though. I assume she still needs a little time, but should I be flushing already or is it way too soon? EDIT: I've been doing some more research and I reckon I'm still a a couple weeks from harvest so just going to keep feeding as usual.2 points

No worries bro. Once we select a mother, I will back cross to the mother for a new round of Pineapple Chem.2 points

I do not frequent the place I got the sticker from, but saw the stickers there and decided to take one as I saw this thread first. There was some good feedback about the parents for the cross. Want to get 2 packs of seeds, but not ready to pull the trigger yet. Seems I will likely miss out on the Pineapple Chem - such is life I guess. I hope someone on the forum gets a pack and does a grow diary on it though2 points

Ya im pretty much ready to pull them and cut my losses. Doesn't seem positive for the pancake lines. But then again it might be worth waiting and crossing fingers. The plants could be fire.2 points

Myself and @Dr. Greendecided to run the rest of the Loud Cakes outside to test them 1st before they get to go inside again.2 points

I take this as confirmation that mother-nature has accepted my plants into her domain and blessed this grow with good luck2 points

I see Biltong & Budz releasing their "own" line of genetics coming from Europe. Seeds are cheap, and some common names on their list. Would be interested to see how they grow, hoping someone on this forum picks some up and gives them a good testing1 point

Use a tds/ec meter. Add either more water or more nutrients depending on what concentration you're going for. I have a 150l reservoir. Mixing small amounts are too time consuming. I feed my potted plants from the reservoir and the ones in autopots get fed whenever they need it. ;) Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk1 point

Seems its quite widespread, so doubt that's the case. Possibly but unlikely I feel. Seems more likely the pancakes line is a bit of an issue, unfortunately. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk1 point

Add to this a desired length of airline tubing used in aquariums(fits perfect on 50ml and 60ml syringes). Draw the nutes into the syringe, remove the airline tube while still in the nutrients container so not to mess the additional contents in the tube. Quick, easy, accurate and clean.1 point

When they express during preflower stretch from the primordial spots at the node, it's most likely dominate hermie. Those same plants may not have expressed as hermie outdoors. Sometimes the stresses of indoor are just not manageable by the plant.1 point

Potassium deficiency or shock. Tomorrow will be a week since transplant and is in the cabinet permanently. The mercury shot up to 38° in the shade the other day and boy did I battle to keep the cabinet below 31°. So I'm putting the brown leaf tips down to stress. If it's a potassium problem I believe there is not much you can do anyway. Gave a water today with a dash of molasses. Surrounding plants just sharing the awesome @Light It Up and @growopz lights while they can.1 point

The plants have moved outside for good - with some added support to counter the strong winds. Some close ups of how they have been tied up - adjustable and avoid strangling the plant, leaving space for it to grow. This, repeated from different angles to get a stable core.1 point
